Mar 2, 2010My BB just stopped ringing, it won't even respond to the speaker phone. Once in a while if I keep calling it will ring once and thats it.

Jul 29, 2010The loudspeaker on my E71 suddenly stopped working one morning. The morning alarm was just a vibration without the sound. I tried restart, battery reset and factory reset. No luck. The key tones and hands free works though.Thought of taking it to the NokiaCare, and somehow struck to me to gently blow air on the speakers. Suddenly it started working. But not consistently. comes on and off. What could be the problem? Is it a bad speaker component?

May 9, 2012As of yesterday, my sound on my phone will not work. No ringer, no text, no alarms, no music.etc. I have checked all the settings and made sure the volume on the side control panel is on.I did just update my Apple phone, Mac, & iTunes the other day.Would this have anything to do with it?

May 24, 2012I have a Droid X with Android version 2.3.4 (system version 4.5.621). The phone ringer stopped working and I have to completely shut off the phone and turn it back on to get it to work, but then it will randomly stop working again. Also, the camera will take a picture but when you go to the gallery the picture is not there and it just shows a generic icon. I've done a factory reset on the phone twice and the issues keep coming back.

Sep 21, 2011I am running 2.1 and my phone ringer stopped working a few days. No changes to the phone, or new application, or physical damage. The symptom is incoming calls vibrate, but don't ring. If I check the ringtone by selecting a different tone, it plays Ok. Volume is fine also, set for independent control for incoming volume and phone ring. I have tried power cycling, removing the battery, checking my settings, and calling from different numbers (different ring tones).

Jun 24, 2011I am having a massive problem with the buttons on my phone at the moment, I recently updated my phone and ever since I did that all of the buttons on my phone keep stop working then start working again once I repeatedly tap my buttons or smack my phone in rage. This is highly annoying when you urgently want to get hold of someone and your stood there tapping your phone trying to get it to work. My phone isn't water damaged and it has never been near water. I have had my phone for a total of 1 year and four months so its not a brand new model..Or has anyone experienced the same problem as me and got it fixed?

But I've found that sometimes after I receive a call from someone and I've ended the call (by sliding the phone down), all my buttons stop working.The Keyboard, lock button, call, end, etc. No button works. But however, the touch screen works. I usually end up using the touch screen to turn off my phone and pull out my battery and put it back in.From there it works again. Its happened four times now. Has this happened to anyone else?

Sometimes I will send a message and it will work fine then the next minute it won't work at all. Other times it is just down for one contact but their bbm works with everyone else. It is very frustrating to just have it stop working every 5 minutes.

Jul 7, 2015I am a new android user as I recently upgraded my phone to my first smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy s6, on Sunday. I have a concern regarding a message that I received while I was texting my friend (out of state/just started texting today) that messages had stopped working.
I cleared cache from both my apps and the Samsung Galaxy using applicaiton manager in settings, then rebooted; it works fine now, but I was wondering why I received this error message? Also, after reboot, my phone started searching for GPS? I am wondering why that is as well. I am just concerned with why I received these messages because I just upgraded my phone on Sunday and haven't done anything to it besides download social media apps, text, browse, and add music onto it.
what are the causes of these messages and if they are severe? My parents would be irritated if something was going on with my phone when I just got it.
