Mar 14, 2011I think I accidentially deleted something & then suddenly all of my Icons on the main screen dissappeared. And all I get is a blank yellow circle that I can move across the bottom of the Screen. Also after the accidential deletion, I intermittently got "Error 523" with "Reboot" or something like that. On the secondary screen where it would normally display all Icons, I only get a blank screen (just showing my background) with no icons. It does however show stuff like the battery symbol, notifications, wifi symbol, etc.
I reinstalled the most recent firmware that I could reinstall.It restored the Icons on the secondary screen but none on the first screen and still only get a blank yellow circle that I can move back and forth across the screen. & I also lost the ability to "move" Icons. Even tried "Alt+BB button" & not able to move Icons,I took out the battery, Sim card & memory card & then reinserted them. Still no Icons on the first screen & on the second screen where all the Icons would show is now blank again.Anyone know how I can restore the Icons to the first Screen? How I can get the move function back & get all my Icons to not dissappear off the second screen?

Jun 3, 2011I changed the icons on my main screen. But when I did that, my icons are now all screwed up. on my main screen, when I click my blackberry app icon, games pops up. When I click my media icon, messages shows up. When I click my message icon, the blackberry app pops up. I have a blackberry 8530 by the way.

Jul 7, 2010nokia 5230 removing predictive text from dictionary? everytime i try and enter 'you' I get 'yot' Nokia upport claim no way of removing single words [how stupid is that?] I tried using fe explore says not supported sis files. X plore went on the phone as an app and i found and removed the pred file but it still comes back as 'yot' when i use the predictive text. any suggestions please? Nokia suggested turning off pred text as the solution>> not the ideal option is it!

I mark the 5 options but in the home screen only appears the "Shortcuts bar" and the "Search" bar. I can't see the "Music player", "Radio" and "Calendar" bars. Somebody knows why?

Mar 5, 2010My new memory card arrives in a day or two and until it does I have not been downloading much on my phone but I have been using things like Ovi Maps and being online in general.I noticed that looking at the memory usage there are 42MB of Other files.Now I noticed that each time in OVI maps I goto a completely new place it downloads about 7MB of data, and as far as I remember I have had 3 or 4 of these but that still leave about 20MB
When I insert my memory card can I move stuff to the card and 'clean up' the phone?Or would I have to do something like a 'restore of the factory setting' that deletes everythig and then start again.

Jul 17, 2010I have an N97 since last year the phone is working well have only 1 little problem my phone memory is full but didn't install anything on it installed all applications or games music and videos are on mass memory the only software installed on phone memory are phone platform maps etc. which was already preinstalled when bought phone the problem that I have is when try to update for eg maps the phone says to me "memory full remove some application before make installation" have tried to remove maps from phone but and try to reinstall it on mass memory but didn't get choice to choose between phone memory or mass memory. as I see all Nokia original application are installed on phone don’t have any choice to transfer it no mass memory...therefore when phone memory is full the phone platform is slow to response want to know if someone have a solution for me.
