I am having a problem with nokia 6131. When I turn on the phone, everything seems to be OK, it requests the PIN code and the battery indicator is working as well, but then I enter the PIN code, press OK, the welcoming NOKIA logo appears, then the welcoming message, then just the white screen and freezed battery indicator. After some seconds it turns off and that's it. I thought I would update the firmware or something, but to update it, I must have my phone fully turned on, I can't update it when the phone asks me the PIN code.. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
I power 6131 on and it starts rebooting after a few seconds, sort of stuck in a loop.Is it possible to stop this? By forcing a flash reinstall? (but how do I do that?)
I've tried recently to move back on my old phone, Nokia 6131. After I've synced contacts, i've got strange behavior. I've got contacts written on english and on russian. When I'm entering Names from menu, english ones are ok, but russian contacts displays as only first 5 symbols and then "...". When I enter contact - it displays everything normal.
my Nokia 6131 has a strange problem: there are no lights at all (screens and keypad), the main screen does not show any view, but an external screen works good..
I recently upgraded from an E71 to an E72. Before giving my E71 away, I had taken a backup using the Nokia PC Suite (to a .nbu file). The 2 things I care about the most for restoring in my E72 are the contacts and the messages. After restoring them from backup, I could see all my contacts, but when I open the Messaging, the Messaging UI just hangs, until I hold down home and make it exit from the list of running apps (there too .. its doesn't exit immediately about after some time...and while its running the phones not very smooth to use)
If however, it is already running in foreground when I restore the messages from backup, it runs fine, until i exit it and start it again... this has been totally a mood spoiler.. i'ven't been able to enjoy my new e72 at all yet
After changing something in the settings and exiting the menu, it still remains active (has the green circle). If I try to go into the settings menu again the screen is blank, the options and exit buttons are at the buttom but the list of options is empty.I tried a hard reset and the same thing happens . Is this a known bug?
I format my nokia 5800xm both phone memory and memory card. After that when i open my phone i noticed that when i use the camera it hangs or freeze but when i check the used programs (long press the menu) it has camera but not working. i need to restart my phone several times just to make the camera working.. what supposed to be the problem?
Well I have purchased n82 a month ago now my mobile is acting very slow, if I use nokia maps and exit from it, my phone hang after it I have to turn off then turn on the phone to access the options. Second problem is GPS satellite finding no connection to the satellites even for a second. I installed Garmin Mobile Xt 5.00.80 when I'm going to run the Garmin the logo shows then it turn back to menu nothing is happened.
Please help me, I upgraded My N97 to the latest version 20.0.027, after that I format mass memory and reset all settings to factory mode. But when I want to answer an incoming call my mobile will freeze and I have to remove the battery and restart the phone. please help me if this problem will solve.
just bought n97 mini yesterday.been disappointed with the phone since then. it frequently hangs whenever i open more than 1 application simultaneously.is it normal?before this im using n79,never had any problem when browsing internet and messaging in the same time.the software are updated.been asking people,and its normal they said.is it true?
On my E63, when I try to download podcasts using wifi it starts, gets up to about 20% or so then the download stalls. If I 'stop' then 'resume' the download it'll get a couple % more, then do the same again.
It's set to download to my storage card, which has lots of free space, and there's nothing wrong with the wifi connection usually. Does anyone know how to fix this? It's made the app unusable.
what to do. My Nokia E7-00 always hang but after switching the phone off and putting it on again it starts working. When I tried to download from the Ovi Store from the phone it connected but after a while it hanged and all attempt to restore it has not been successful.
I was using the Music Application for listening music, and the application always hangs, do not allow to star the music player, ever when using the nokia built-in explorer... and i access the file to listen
I am not talking about my experience of my phone. Right now, I have an issue of my Lumia 710's camera. It freezes when I shoot a picture in ISO 200 (Which I manually tune on the settings). After the hangs, I am able to exit the camera application but, pressing the shutter button won't open the camera anymore until I reboot my phone. And opening the camera from the application list (After the freezes) will only lead to the blank screen.I have already reset my phone thrice, reinstall my software and reset the camera, but the issue won't disappear.
When the phone's on, and i try using the keypad to either to type out a text or to move around the menu, the phone hangs / keypad doesnt work. I dont know whether its the phone hanging or the keypad problem because the screen goes dark, and i cant revive it, but its still on, and i have to restart the phone, but the same thing keeps happening. I tried hard reseting my phone, that didnt work either.
when i start browsing on my inbuilt browser my phone hangs. The only way to make it work is by rebooting. I've formatted my device several times. Updated the software too. But still no cure!
My E71 screen goes blank and hangs while charging. This happend two times to me now. I cannot turn off the phone also. But I can answer the calls. My firmware version is 410.21.010.
I'm getting really frustrated trying to Install the Ovi Suite Installer 2.2.0.241 on my Thinkpad T400. I still have about 8G free, but the installer hangs at about 50%. I have tried to install numerous times, with and without restarting the machine., but get the same unsuccessful results. For now I have to do with the Nokia PC Suite which was successfully installed, but I really look forward to using the OVI.
I just purchased a Nokia N97 mini after having spent 5 years on Windows Mobile due to hardward and software issues. I hope I did not make another mistake by moving back to Symbian! Even when I cancel the installation, it still hangs.
I've been using my N86 for some time now. And I've encounted one issue that's really bugging me.When I start Maps, and the phone starts searching for satellites, the Maps program hangs for some reason. This happens quite offen. The rest of the phone works fine, but I can't use Maps. But if I restart the phone the program works fine.Sometime later when I try again, then the problem occurs again.Is there anyone else that has this problem, and does anyone know of a solution?The phone is currently running firmware 21.006 and Ovi Maps 3.03
Couple of months back I upgrade my Nokia 5800 to V40. After that, i have started having peculiar problem with the FM Radio. Radio plays fine. but when I keep switching the different saved stations, at one point it just HANGS. No keys on my phone hands free work and the only option left for me would be remove the battery and reboot the phone.
After upgrading the firmware to v40, the music player hangs after playing for few minutes. It does not respond to any touchscreen input. The phone has to be restarted to get it to work again. Does anyone know of a fix to this problem.
My Nokia N97 hangs and reboot automatically after some time, this happens quit often. After few auto reboots my N97 stuck at NOKIA log and doesn't boot further, I tried by removing the battery for some time, it's still stuck at NOKIA log. Then I have to do a hard reset of my phone and it works fine for a day or two. And same issue again. Also I have tried to reinstall the firmware again with NSU.

I got E5.00 with 081.004 and c00.01 software. Recently purchased. Few weeks back I have noticed some thing strange. While on the call, the recipients, signals was low and it its loss the connectivity, my phone gets stuck for 2,3 min with disconnect icon. When the icon is gone, I'm not able to make any call till I reset the unit. Also when I select the phone in to offline mode. The phone restart automatically. I did hard reset and .Etc. Still the problem there.
When i receive an Incoming call i press the slide up and then both the Answer and Ignore buttons do not work. And there is no touch response on these button, they are simple greyed out.
