i didn't quite get it, but when i start a clip playbakc in Internet app or browser the playback stops when switching to another app.i need it to continue...use case - i want to listen to the music and look at the cords at the same time.

Before 4.0.3 I was able to playback flash video in the browser on my TV through the HDMI cable, now with 4.0.3 I have lost that ability. When trying to playback flash video on the browser in fullscreen, the screen becomes all black and the audio stops.
View 3 Replies View Relatedi have a wifi only xoom running android 4.0.3. yesterday i got the ics update and my ability to watch video from amazon on my xoom in my browser went bad. prior to the update it worked on and off but when it had problems they were never like this, and when it had problems they showed up on all computers i own that tried to use the service. the problem on the xoom tablet continues today. the video is pixelated and very choppy. the audio is very crackly and popping. this is not the way it worked prior to the upgrade.
i can watch the same video on my desktop chrome browser and it works fine. i can watch it on firefox browser and it works. on the xoom i can use the andriod marketplace to buy a video and watch it and it works fine. i can use the xoom browser to view ted and Internet videos and they work fine. is it the browser, the ics update, or is the amazon delivery system antagonistic to ics? also i noticed a very sharp drop in audio volume output of all kinds once the isc upgrade had been done. i simply can not turn up the volume loud enough to hear it easily.
I have a brand new Motorola Xoom that im having proplems watching videos online. I can watch videos for about 1minute then it stops.

View 6 Replies View RelatedMy Xoom experienced two odd issues once the latest update was applied. Status shows Android version 3.2.1 and Kernel version 2.6.36.3-g111d827 andriod-build@apa28 #1, Build # HTK75D (sorry, that doesn't mean much to me...) This is a WiFi only model.
Issue #1: Whenever I playback a video, the video pauses every 55-60 seconds. Doesn't matter if I'm using a 3rd party player, Netflix, or the built-in Gallery player. Every time, any video. There are videos on the main memory, the SD card and even streming- all the same result. I have also noticed a number of games pause as well.
Issue #2: Opening links doesn't work. When I try to click on a link in Tweecaster Pro (for example) it would normally ask which browser I wanted to complete the action with. But now all I get is a pause and dimmed screen. Another touch of the sceen and I'm back to where I started. This happens with several different programs- not just browsers.
I understand ICS is coming, and have heard there is a 3.2.2 version available, but none show up when I check for updates.
I just discovered some weird issue with comedy central videos. If you go to the site > full episodes and choose either Daily show or Colbert report the playback starts OK but there is no sound.I'm on 3g Xoom connected via WIFI. Android 3.0.1 flash 10.2
View 10 Replies View RelatedConnected to WIFI at home, disconnect from WIFI to go to work and Xoom never get connected to 4G/3G/1X. I power off and power back on then it connects to 4G/LTE.
This happening consistently now.
It looks like LTE maybe weak in my area as I see one or two bars but it should have switch to 3G.
I'm using a stock, untouched Droid X2 with the included MicroSD card and the video recording is simply broken. The first video I tried to take was laggy during the recording, and playback was at a seemingly 1.5x speed and was glitchy. I recieved advice to uninstall Flash 10.3, and while shorter videos would record and play back okay, I still get some issues such as the phone rebooting while trying to navigate the gallery.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just purchased a DROID RAZR. I have installed the desktop client on two different machines. I can view pictures and listen to music but when I try to play any video format I receive the following error:

MotoCast was not able to playback this file; it might not be in a supported format.
I tried to download several files to test them on the phone's storage, but I am also unable to download any video using MotoCast. I can download pictures and documents. I have tried doing these operations through the Gallery app, as well as just browsing using the directory structure.
My issue is this, I cannot "fast forward" a video during playback. I can select a "fast forward" spot in the video using the slider or control panel but as soon as I let go it reverts back to where it was before (usually the beginning). The really weird part is when I download a player app it initially works, it did this trying RockPlayer, GeekVideo, BSPlayer and others, but as soon as I exit and re-start the apps they revert back to this behavior. My videos are 2.5 hours long and I need the ability to start, and re-start them at differnt points.
I tried MoboPlayer and it behaved the same. I noticed that the file type that does not work is the .WMV, the .MP4's work as they should.
Is this an issue with 2.3.6 that would be fixed if I go back to 2.3.5? I did not see any posts on the internet about this specific issue so I am confused. I received my RAZR MAXX a few days ago. I did the OTA update to 2.3.6 before checking this issue on 2.3.5.I am not rooted or modified in any way.I do not have this problem with the same applications with .WMV files on my old DX running GB 2.3.3 or my tablet running HC 3.2.1
When I attempt to stream a video on my Razr Maxx from my home PC it freezes for a couple seconds every 5 seconds of playback. Is there something that needs to be changed to avoid this "buffering" issue.

I have the Google Music beta on PC and the Xoom music player is syncing nicely to it.However, when playing, it will skip and sometimes stop playing altogether. I have 3.1 update, and 9.5 gb free on internal storage. It happens with on device MP3's as well.Not a wi-fi issue as it happens with wi-fi off. Any thoughts fellow Xoomers? I did search the forums already, and saw some mention of Andro Explorer causing this

Web searching/browsing just comes to a halt and eventually there is a message saying that there is no internet connectivity.owever the icon at the bottom right of the screen shows an excellent signal. am wondering if the problem is the internet service provider or wifi router or if the problem is with the xoom. View 1 Replies View RelatedI record video using the camcorder app. I playback video and the audio has a high pitched whine / whistle or sound layered over the background audio. Sometimes the whine gets louder and sometimes lower but its aways there. Its very annoying sounding and seems like either feedback or interference or something. Anyone else experiencing this?I've tried various resolutions and zooming in and out, and lowering the volume all the way prior to entering the app (because you can't get any feedback on volume adjustment once in the app) and nothing i've tried seems to get rid of the sound. I have also tried the 3 "audio scenes" "Everyday" setting seems to be the worst, outdoors the best.
View 4 Replies View Relatedi just recently got the xoom, it convinced me enough on reviews and looks but now i'm frustrated beyond belief. one of the main reasons i wanted a tablet was to use it to view videos online without having to download them and transfer them over.but that's all gone down hill since i brought home the xoom. i love it, my family loves it but it keeps dropping the connection only when i view videos. be it Internet or anything else, my connection will be dropped at about a minute but before reaching two minutes. basically all i have ever gotten to view is two minutes into videos before i get cut off. i can be standing right next to my router with perfect connection on everything but as soon as a video begins to play the connection gets dropped and i'm stuck with a brick in my hand.
i've tested it out with other devices such as my phone, and my 2 laptops, even the family wii and videos play like a charm. the xoom however likes to give me a small preview and then cut me off. i've looked into the problem all over the internet and haven't found any solution. before i get the whole it's your router spiel it's only happening when i try streaming a video. i've updated all i could think off to the latest versions but to no avail. i even focused on looking at the wifi indicator to see that it will have strong signal and be working perfectly but at around a minute and a half it shoots down the connection and shoots back up. this isn't a problem if i'm just browsing the web but the videos don't seem to resume loading after it gets the connection back.
I'm a new DX2 owner and having several problems with the phone. First, When I reboot, any app I've placed on a home screen that has been moved to the SD card/media area comes up as the default settings icon (blue gear icon) but appear correctly in the app drawer. Second, When I record video it is pixilated and choppy on play back with parts of the video actually missing. I understand we're all waiting for Gingerbread and bugs may exist but, to me, the video issue is a real problem because it basically means I can't count on video working and therefore have to use another device (go XOOM) for video recording.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm running CM11 M8, but I've been having this problem with many previous builds.Problem is, whenever I'm listening to music using either the Google Music app or Apollo, and I decide to clear the recent tasks list, playback is stopped. I would assume this was by design, if it weren't for three factors.
1) This post by Diane Hackborn, specifically "uses the new API to tell any services of the application about the task being removed so it can do whatever it thinks is appropriate."
And I should hardly think that stopping playback just cos you're clearing the recent tasks is appropriate. One should be allowed to clear the recent tasks list entirely, and see no change in phone behaviour. The recent task list is not a task manager.
2) This wasn't the way it used to behave (I think circa Jellybean)
3) The Music icon remains in the notification bar even when playback stops.
Is this a bug underlying 4.4.4? Or is a problem with CM only?
This happens in both third-party and music apps. I have been having problems with my earbuds lately and I'm not sure if the problems are related. I hope that it's just a setting.

View 2 Replies View Relatedis there anything i can do to improve flash video playback? after the 2.2 update i was excited to be able to use flash on my phone, but video playback on it seems so bad that it's unwatchable.it's like a slideshow at best, and at worse i'm only getting one frame every thirty seconds or so. oddly enough the sound never skips or stutters at all.i've tried it over wifi and 3g. Internet videos in the native app and other non-flash streaming media seem to work perfectly.i'm using the stock browser with flash player 10.2.157.51 (the latest one available in the android market), and i've tried several different videos linked from m.flash.com

I have tried to uninstall the update that came through and the system automatically restored the factory version, but still it keeps crashing.
