I've tried to work with it and make excusses for the lack of applications on the market, the poor operating system that feels only half finished, and the drip feed of information coming out about any possible improvements.For me it's out with the Xoom and over to the IPad2, I want a tablet that will deliver an the Xoom is not it.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I've had my T-Mobile Galaxy S6 for 9 days and I noticed a dark shadow or spot on the right side of the screen. I thought it was the lens or the plastic film covering the lens. I was wrong and it appears the issue is with the sensor itself. T-Mobile is sending me another unit.
This is an expensive piece of tech. So make sure you check everything the first days you own it to ensure you are not stuck with a defected one.
previously, my browser had trouble loading pages from time to time: blue progress bar moves 2/3rds over but gets stuck today, the browser wont function normally anymore: can't select any new pages, and even the quick controls on the side is frozen! i rebooted, and it seems to work now, though the typing on this forum is sluggish in responce.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe thing that drives me nuts about this phone is that you can not see the usb charging port in a dark room. On many ocassion i have had to plug in my charger in the dark and i find myself always fumbling around for minutes to find the port. The thing that makes it even more frustrating is that there is already a LED there! It just doesn't turn on unless the battery is dead and the phone is plugged in. Motorla calls it a "sign-of-life" LED. What a waste of resources because most people who keep their phones charged will never see this LED light-up. Why didn't you guys make it toggle on with a long push on the lock button? Then you could easily see the ports? This seems like the most usefull and obvious thing to do with this LED.
Also what happened to the camera application? My wifes X2 takes amazing pictures wheras the Droid 3s turn out afwul. Can I use the droid X2 app on my D3? Besides these two gripes this is an amazing phone and I am very happy with it.

However, my girlfriend and I are currently on a Verizon family plan and despite me constantly explaining how the iPhone will be the best investment she will ever make (I even used to have my own iPhone at the same time as the Verizon phone), she still needs more convincing that AT&T is at least pretty similar to Verizon's service and monthly bill.
Shortened story shorter (the point): I'm looking for some type of up-to-date comparison chart/website to compare the two. I tried Google but couldn't find anything worthwhile. I have a feeling if there's anything out there, MR would know.
I just thought of something else. Incase Apple is so busy tonight that they don't want to cancel Verizon and set me up with AT&T until they "officially" open the store (10am), can I still just pay for the two phones and set them up with our old Verizon numbers and new AT&T plan at a later time? Obviously I would do this to insure I have the phones in my possession and won't need to wait until they have new stock.
Picked up my Razr at Costco yesterday, they didn't have a working demo unit to compare, but when I finally got it home and was playing around with it, I noticed that the screen is very dark. Its like the contrast ratio is set to 100%....whites are very bright and blacks are very black...making for very high contrasty images; many of the images get washed out.
...is this normal, I've read on other sites of issues of it being green, my has this too, but the contrast is so poor that I just want to give this thing back.

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy triumph seems to go into low power or "sleep"mode (Black screen) and can't be woken with the side power button. The battery life doesn't seems to be the issue because it will happen when the battery is at half charge or full charge. This seems to be occurring when it has not been used in awhile (~30 minutes). The only way to use my phone again is to remove battery and reinsert. Most of the time this occurs the red light is still on and blinking, but once there was no light at all with 3/4 batter life remaining. This is my second Triumph after having a bad ear speaker in the first one. Anyone else having this issue or have any suggestions on how to fix this. I've read the posts and I am curious if it has anything to do with WIFI being on since WIFI is on all the time when I am home.

On the iPhone the screen will stay on during a phone call. On my RAZR M the display goes dark after 1 minute and I can't figure out how to re-light it. Hitting the power button ends the call. Is there a way to keep the screen on other than setting the time delay to 10 minutes?

My best Buy pretty much said they do not want to take the phone back again because of how many times I've returned it for various legitamate issues. Now, in addition to this device having the usual issues I've had with it, I now have a bright white pixel that only shows on white/light colored backgrounds.

View 5 Replies View Relatedthere is a small insert that removes from the dock in case you have a case on the D3. if you remove that and just snip off the far left side (top of M opposite side of headphone jack) it works great. when you clamp it down there is a slight wiggle since its smaller than D3 but not enough to bother anything and nothing if your not touching it.if you have one of these from the D3 and you try and place the M in it you will see immediately the little corner i am talking about when you try to put the M in the dock.
