After yesterday's update, skype video calling now works on the triumph. It does not show in the supported devices list, but I have tested it and was able to videoconference.
Is there anyone out there that can help with this? I have only had my phone for about 40 days (10 days past Radio Shack's return policy, unfortunately), and beginning 3 or 4 days ago my phone stopped consistently charging. I would put it on the charger and it would look like it is working for a few minutes, then simply stop charging. I have tried 3 different chargers with the same results-- one with a USB connection to my computer, one in my car, and one plugged into a wall.I already exchanged this Triumph once because of serious software glitches including a keyboard that wouldn't always type. I am starting to feel like perhaps this isn't the phone for me, but it feels terrible to feel like I have been cheated $300 for a phone that doesn't want to work.
Besides us waiting for some sign of a software update to address the issues with our Motoroloa Triumph, does anyone else find it curious how difficult it is to find the accessories for the Triumph? I mean, it's impossible to find something by going to the Motorola Store for the phone. However, if you circumnavigate the site and search on all Android Phones, and find the one phone for Virgin Mobile (by carrier), then find the teeny tiny link for Accessories, one does determine there is a BT headset and also a car charger. But wait, the car charger isn't even available yet.
It's not good commentary that there isn't Motorola badged batteries and car chargers and earbuds, Micro HDMI to HDMI cables, USB charging cables available for the product from Motorola, when clearly, this stuff is available on eBay. And I've recently purchased a very good OEM Motorola Charger and USB charging cables... so the question becomes, where is Motorola's support for the phone? I propose someone feedback to Motorola that besides waiting for needed SW updates, we could use a little product support in the way of accessories.
I was using Google Voice to answer business calls and having those calls routed to my Photon. When I received a call, if it had my Google Voice (GV) number in the display, I would know it was a business call. In recent months I've decided to stop using GV but have been unsuccessful in getting it to stop answering calls I miss. I've tried everything short of cancelling my GV account.
While doing some research into this, I found out that I have to disable "conditional call forwarding" on my phone but have not been able to locate the settings for this.
There is no "Voicemail settings" in the "Call settings" section. It seems like a first page of Call settings is missing because at the top of the list it says "Call settings", then immediately under that it says "Other call settings".
Im trying to change my network provider from orange to 3, (i have purchased unlocking code) but since putting in the hanset the phone loading bar will only go up so far, not completely to the end to load up phone. is there another way around unblocking the phone so it will accept other sim cards?
It's happened before..But then I factory resetted my phone and it seemed alright for a couple of months but it then started back again today.Suddenly at some places I lose network signal (i.e. from my provider) and obviously it should come back when I go somewhere or whatever. But this time it won't even connect. I've shut down my phone, taken out the battery, taken out the SIM card..EVERYTHING. And I just can't seem to connect back to my network provider. (This isn't WI-FI I'm talking about - just basic network. I can't recieve texts, or anything - and everyone one in my house's network is working perfectly fine!)My phone runs on the original launcher and I only have a couple of apps on it (i.e. just normal whatsapp etc. - NO GAMES)It has about 500MB of free space on the SD Card too.
i am recently on a blackberry torch9800 locked to vodafone i am wishing to unlock it but cant get past the screen which has your imei num on it as i have read a few sites that you needto get to the screen were it shows were your sim card is how to do this as i have my imei num and mymep id num
My BlackBerry has no signal or connection to my network provider. I can't call, text, bbm or use the internet. I've had this phone for over a year and now its just all of sudden stopped working.
Device info:BlackBerry 9700OS: 6.0.0Country: ArmeniaCarrier: ArmenTel(AM) Apps and free space
My network provider does not support data plans. However I use wi-fi to connect and download applications from Application world. But when I enable Wi-Fi, I can easyly browse over network, but BB application world does not work. After restart it works. So I need every time restart my device to make app world working again.
I have a Sony Ericsson Satio, and yesterday I changed my wallpaper to a picture of a good friend, however, the Network providers name is right in the center of their face and is ruining the wallpaper for me. Is there any way to remove the text 'T-Mobile' from the home screen? I remember it was possible in Samsung or Nokia, not sure which one.Any help greatly appreciated.
after some time (usualy like 1 to 2 hours) in powersaving mode and standby mode together . When I wake up the phone the phone suddenly doesnt have any connection. i have to put the phone in offline mode and back to normal/silent for it to connect back to the network. it seems only to happen while in standby mode with powersaving mode enabled.
We just switched our business account from Vodafone to O2 and got MEP unlock codes for all our phones. One of our Blackberry 9700 handsets is hardlocked. I obtained the unlock code from Vodafone but the user managed to put the MEP code in wrong too many times and now I get a message: "Enter Network MEP code (0 left)"I've tried resetting factory defaults as per Vodafone advice and updated to latest OS but still get the same message. Vodafone have basically now told me to contact RIM. Will RIM sort this and how much will it cost?
I bought a sprint blackberry bold 9650 through amazon, and I'm in Kenya. There is no sprint network In Kenya and I'm unable to use the Blackberry service and hashcodes through a local network provider, safaricom. I can make calls and sms. What should I do?
I updated my 2-week-old LG G3 to Lollipop this morning. Working great, except they doubled up on an annoying feature from KitKat.
With my first Android phone, I could press once on a Call Forwarding quickdial shortcut, and the phone would immediately dial, forward calls, and disconnect. (The quickdial shortcut calls (*722065551212) ). KitKat saw fit to add a popup confirmation window:
Call forwarding (*72) All incoming calls will be forwarded to 206-555-1212 Dial *73 to turn off Call Forwarding (Cancel) (Forward calls)
I disliked this popup as soon as I saw it. Sadly, when I run call forwarding under Lollipop, the popup appears, I press (Forward calls), the popup closes, then appears again. After the second press of (Forward calls), the call is completed and calls are forwarded.
Is there a setting to return to the pre-KitKat behavior? Or even the KitKat behavior, with a single popup?
I looked at the app store, and tried several free call forwarding apps. They all send the same signal to the phone's dialer, resulting in the same double popup.
It is really weird, this started happening today. My signal goes down to only 2 bars. People keep saying they can't hear me. I have not muted my phone. What could be causing this? Turned off phone, cleared cashe.
1. call forwarding option not available. I'm on dual sim model 2. How to extend Office 365 license to other devices 3. No connectivity with macbook pro ?? 4. No Gmail Youtube apps
I'm on a pre-paid T-Mobile plan that does not support call forwarding of any kind. Only their 2-year contract plans do. The iPhone Call Forward feature is fully unconditional and carrier independent - if I understand it correctly - but I only need it to be active between certain hours of the day - when I'm at work and where there is no reception.
my iPhone 5 will not allow call forwarding, each time i try, it allows me to type in a number, but that is it, when i press BACK it just switches call forwarding back off.
My iiPhone 4 keeps call forwarding to my home phone. While I see a setting for callforwarding in the iPhone 5, I do not see one for iPhone 4. I have tried entering *73 on my phone.
