My phone recently decided that it was going to label the social widget in french but nothing else. It doesn't changed anything else into french though, and as far as I can tell doesn't cause any other issues, it's mostly just annoying. I have already tried rebooting the phone and nothing changed.

From day 1 (two weekends ago), when I pair the phone to my Mercedes Benz 2008 (with 2010 bluetooth cradle to replace analog phone), and walk away the phone believes it is still connected (see status under wireless & network settings, bluetooth devices list)
This causes problems, such as when I receive calls the ear speaker is turned off and I cannot hear caller, or making calls the ear speaker is off.
When I later return to the car, the razr shows it is still paired (under bluetooth devices list) while the car says the phone is turned off. Need to power off/on to reset.
Called for support.
Verizon Tech believes that my car has a problem, the "car bluetooth is too old", can't keep supporting bluetooth devices that are 4+ years old
Motorola tech had me go to manage apps / bluetooth share / storage / clear data. Did not resolve problem. Need to try with another phone.
During the release and in many RAZR ads is the wallpaper below but it's not on the phone.

I had my phone setup and was about to go to bed and my device started a continuous reboot cycle that made the battery go dead by morning. I went to local store and the looked at it and said that they couldn't fix it will just give you a new one.I got a new RAZR and other that battery life issues which I am not happy about I can deal because I can have it charging in my office during the day. Well last night about 7 it started continuous reboot cycle this time I plugged it in and did a reset holding the power and the down volume. It been rebooting since last night I am not in my office with it plugged in.

View 15 Replies View RelatedIt seems that firmware "leaks" and posts from Devs on XDA are the only way of getting any information as there's precious little official information coming from Moto itself.I know a lot of people are eagerly awaiting ICS, but in the meantime its frustrating to know that Moto ARE working on updated (Gingerbread) firmware for the Razr given the fact that the leaked files DO exist.. many people, myself included, however.. are reluctant to flash leaked firmware even if it does appear to be very stable (from what I've read), and would rather wait for something "official" from Moto...The last "official" EN.EU firmware released was gratefully received late December with very little notification (651.73.30 I believe), but as I'm sure many of you have read there's also a 651.167.20 firmware floating around.. again, with a complete info blackout from Moto to their customers that there's even anything going on..
View 10 Replies View RelatedThe ICS update was pushed to my xt910 today. Froze during the install when it said starting apps. Had to hold all three buttons and reset it. Was laggy when i turned it on. Now my music or my gallery wont open. Just opens the background of the app and then freezes. Phone also wont make a sound when it rings it just vibrate. When i try to set a ringtone it just freeze my device. My files works strangely enough but you cant open anything.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI did the system update on my Razr Maxx today & when it restarted, it said that my SIM card was recently removed & that I needed to verify my Motoblur password. Well, I didn't know what that was so my phone was totally locked. I got home & looked it up & it wanted me to put in my Motocast password. I did that & then it told me that it looked like my carrier was Verizon & that it did not support Motoblur. What the heck. So I had to do a full system reset.

View 3 Replies View RelatedStarting immediately after the ICS upgrade, I began having problems with the stock browser. Basically, after a few pages of activity, the browser will freeze and completely stop working. The only way to get back to browsing is to go to Manage Apps and Force Close or restart the phone. Some sites seem to cause the problem faster than others but it seems it will eventually happen on any site. I have tried warm reboot which seems to maybe give longer use before freezing again, but that may not actually be correct. I have been trying to avoid a factory reset.

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter two failed updates I've factory reset my phone, reformmated both the internal and external SD cards, yet every time I download the ICS update (6.16.212) it still fails during the unpacking of the download. OTA download completes 100%, but when the phone reboots to unpack and install the update it fails on the unpacking job. What is worse is that that OTA update must be downloaded again, everytime after it fails. I've downloaded it 7 times since this morning, factory reset, download, card re-formates, download... This whole experiance with Verizon and Motorola, waiting, waiting, and waiting some more, only to have the update finally here and have it fail on unpacking every single time?

View 14 Replies View RelatedI am having an issue where i receive the standard unlock screen even though I have a password configured. If I use the slide menu I am never prompted for my password. There are also times when the normal unlock screen will flash up and then go straight to my password.
Current configuration: PIN, lock screen after 5 sec, lock immediatly on power press.
This only happens when I allow the screen to go to sleep on it's own. If i press the power button I am not seeing the issue.
I got my Razr Maxx on 6/21 and everything worked great on GB. I took the ICS update Saturday night and thus far, have only found one issue that I can't seem to resolve. Since the update, I no longer have camera shutter sounds. While this may not be a real major issue, I do like to have the feature available especially when taking pictures outdoors in the sunlight when the screen is harder to see. Shutter sound is enabled in the stock camera app.
All phone volumes are set to maximum and as far as I know, all other audio actions are working as they should (ringtones, alarms, media, voice and all system sounds). I've tried the typical power cycle, soft reboot, cache partition wipe, cleared data and cache in the stock camera app. I've tried other 3rd party camera apps and also don't have any shutter sounds in those apps either with shutter sound feature enabled. I've uninstalled any other apps that I can think of that might have contradictory volume settings and started up in Safe Mode and still no camera shutter sounds.
Every since the ICS update I can no longer get Exchange "Push" email to work correctly. I had to turn it back to checking every 5 minutes.
