Feb 6, 2012Basically my phone wont let me unlock the device because every time i try to enter my password, instead of stars * how my password is usually entered, it comes up with letters. I have entered blackberry on my device and im onto the 7th attempt but dont want to keep trying as its not working. I have try to hold down the alt button as my password is in numbers not letters but even typing in the numbers is not working. Has any1 had this problem and resolved it without losing there entire memory?

Jun 22, 2010I have missed the 24th preorder date and I was wondering if by any chance even 1 in million manage to get on hold of a payg iphone 4 (uk) from a carrier like orange, 3 etc. Is there a difference having an officially unlocked iphone from apple vs an ultrasn0w etc. unlock device?? (other than any ethical/moral issues ). Any specific stuff that I will not be able to perform with such an unlock?, any downsides like slowdowns (if it’s a 24/7 background running service etc) ?
I know that O2 official unlock iphones for $15, but I haven’t found any certain info on the other carriers. (note: the phone will not be used to UK at all, so some proposed actions from carriers like: “use the phone for 3 months with the carrier and then ask for an unlock” will not work in my case.)

Feb 27, 2011I have recently upgraded to OS6. Before the upgrade, I used to be able to switch from English - French as a display/input language and now it seems that I can't. I have search for similar issues on the forum, but I'm a little bit confused... and I hope someone can clarify the situation for me! Is French available on OS6 yet or I have to wait? (reading the forum, I've learn that not all languages are available at the moment)If French is available, how do I add the language?Some users have said that to add a language, you have to go in the Desktop Software --> Applications. When I run the software (I'm a Mac user), here's what I get :

Nokia :: E52 - French Motorways Gps
Jul 27, 2010I have just travelled from England to Switzerland via France. Both in England and Switzerland the newly installed gps on my E52 took me to Dover and from the Swiss border to my destination respectively on the fastest route using mainly motorways.
In France, however, the gps tried to get me to leave the motorway at every junction even though there were no obstructions and the motorway was obvioulsy the fastest and shortest route. I have checked all my settings to make sure, for instance, that toll roads are allowed. I changed from optimal fastest then to shortest route. All to no avail. The man keeps saying "take the next exit".
My son - who has used the Nokia gps for a while - does not appear to have the same problem.
