Since I have gotten the ICS update my facebook app is not working correctly everytime I try to post something it crashes! Another question, why am I forced to use 4g with this new ics upgrade? It eats up my data more quickly I would rather use the 3g.

Haven't made any changes to smart actions or any other settings, but seems I'm down about another 20% at the end of work day the last 2 days. Still not dissatisfied by any means, just curious. Also, last 2 days Android OS has been top on battery use list, compared to prior to update, where it was farther down.Also, never dropped 4G prior to last outage, and now post update/post outage seem to be waffling much more between 3G and 4G.

It worked well for me prior to ICS, and now if it is opened, the app will lock up, or the screen will lock up, or the phone will reboot itself. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app with no change.

View 4 Replies View RelatedSo sometime yesterday BLUR started acting lame and not letting me post Facbook statuses or comments, I kept having to retry my email to load and it did eventually but I was trying to delete my Facebook account and re-add it and it said error so I did a factory reset because I haven't done one in months. Entered my BLUR password and email and BAM it keeps saying, Error signing in please try again and I'm freaking the heck out. I can't get on my phone! So I'm sitting here trying to sign into the BLUR site which loaded slowly and I get this and I keep trying to sign into the site, same message. I tried creating a new account on my phone and got the same error...

I just go my Droid Razr Maxx two days ago, and after installing a few apps, I tried performing a search in the All Apps screen. An error message popped up saying The application Home-screen (process com.Motorola.home) has stopped unexpectedly. try again. and then the Homescreen reboots and everything works except in the All Apps.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI was at the Texas State Fair this weekend, and a Verizon guy was trying to con my family into all these "deal." He did have a Bionic, which I managed to get to play with. It was not long before I concluded that the Bionic is way faster than the DROID3. And that's with livewallpapers on. I fired up the camera app, did some browsing on the browser, and nothing. No redraw, no lag.
Now, the launcher speed did improve with the update. But it is still not up to speed with Bionic, it will still redraw coming out of intensive apps, and Launcher Pro blows it out of the water in all but one area. Oh and I went through quite a few pages on the Bionic forums, and did a search for both "lag" and "redraw" and came up fairly empty. With live wallpapers on, Launcher Pro's app drawer drops frames. Live wallpapers doesn't seem to affect the stock launcher at all. Overall LP is faster, but not that one little area.
So when are we going to get some attention around here in Bionic soak test land???
Since receiving the OTA GB update, I have run into an issue where the phone will not make calls. After dialing a number and hitting send, the phone looks like it is about to dial but immediately goes to 'End Call' and disconnects. I'm seeing the same thing after hitting a direct-dial shortcut. The dial screen comes up with the contact's phone number and as soon as the phone connects to start dialing, it immediately goes to 'End Call.' Time of call in every instance is 00:00.
This has happened twice in the last 3 days and the only way I have found to correct it is to pull the battery. A powerdown/reboot does not do anything. The annoyance is magnified since I am using an Otterbox Defender case and have to remove it to access the battery (grrrr!)
Have noticed that my Photon can't seem to hold a WIFI connection. I can be sitting right next to my router, and it will drop the connection and start scanning again. Have noticed the same thing with other wifi connections at work. Also the WIFI connection sometimes goes dormant/gray and won't wake up on its own. The only solution is to turn the wifi connection off/on, or to cycle the power on the router. Not sure if its a setting that kills the connection after a period of inactivity, have looked in the settings but can't seem to find anything. I have had this problem pre and post update, but am frustrated as I've just passed my 30 days to return the phone easily if something is wrong with the phone.
View 3 Replies View RelatedAs soon as my phone had installed the latest update, i lost the ability to send or receive text messages. The only time I can send or receive is if i am on a phone call. As soon as the call is done, my text messaging is non-functional. I have no issues with calls/internet browsing/apps...just text messaging.
Furthermore, i do not know if this a phone issue or an AT&T issue.
Finally installed GB, immediately noticed from icon visual changes, thats cool, however the H+ icon in the notifications bar, is a white box now (with H+ in black) and the battery is asolid green battery shape, both icons before were much better detail wise, can I change those or stuck with them?2) At teh bottom the green phone has change positions and graphics, ok I supposed will get used to it, same for O moved to right and different icon, ok again.However I now have two in middle one envelope and one odd blue one, I'd like to move them, but do not seem able to, holding down the icon and moving to trash does not work

I have Social Feeds installed on my Blackberry and it is integrated with Facebook. I can see posts from my friends through this App. However, when I try to post to Facebook, it gives an error. The error is "Your post was NOT sent to Facebook". The popup message appears instantly, hence I think the phone is not even attempting to make the post. I can post to Twitter and BBM, however.

I purchased a Targus Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard (has the Android logo and claims compatibility). It paired and connected without any issues and works with all of the apps that I have tried (gmail, text client, Docs To Go, etc.). It also works with Webtop apps, including Citrix (which is why I needed the keyboard).The problem is that when the keyboard is connected, Webtop will randomly crash and re-start (Motorola logo appears and Webtop re-initializes). I have tried this many times, with and without the keyboard and it is definitely related to having the keyboard connected. Sometimes it will crash right away, while other times it will last 2 or 3 mins. It always fails with 5 mins.
I have tried it using 4G (mine will go to 3G at times due to my area) only (WIFI off) and did not effect the crashing (though WIFI does seem to have conflicts with Bluetooth being on).Has anyone successfully had a Bluetooth keyboard work? Is there a setting I am missing?
