The default Motorola music app on the Photon took it upon itself to download the wrong album art for a number of my music tracks (which already had proper cover images to begin with). Is there any way to change the cover art, or delete the bad covers it downloaded?
View 3 RepliesI import my music from my iTunes over to my Blackberry and when I go to listen to my music on my BB, some of the music files don't have their artist, album artwork or album names. Notice how the artist name isn't showing up on my bb, but on iTunes, all that information is filled out.

I found the zoom mode in Accessability, but I dont need something like that, I just want the type fonts to be a little bigger. View 1 Replies View RelatedThe phone defaults to store everything on the internal storage instead of the SD card. I called Sprint, but they did not know a way. I cannot directly access the internal memory through the USB. Is there a way to make it store everything on the SD card?For instance I shoot video and it all goes into the internal memory. The only way I can get it onto my computer is to first move it to the SD card, then I can move it to my PC.
View 7 Replies View RelatedWhenever I connect my Atrix 2 to my car stereo via bluetooth, DoubleTwist comes up and immediately starts playing the last album I happened to be playing on it. I have several music players installed, and would like to configure the phone so another is the default. Any way to do this? I've tried browsing to a music file and pressing it to bring up the "Complete action using..." dialog, but the app I want to use (PowerAMP) is not listed among the choices. Am I out of luck on this, or just restricted to those apps that show in the popup?
View 5 Replies View RelatedThis is a new issue that just started yesterday, i think this i show it started. I turned on itunes and it would not connect to itunes. I had to turn off my computer for th enight and tried again today. Itunes came on , no problem. however during today, i notived that most if not all of th ealbum artwork had disappeared. i thought no worries, i will just sync my iphone when i get home. However, I synced it three x's adn deleted all the music and reloaded it, then changed the settings on my iphone from manually mange my music to auto sync, .... still the album artwork wont show up.

I have tried and tried to get album artwork to display but can't.The N900 will automatically generate album artwork for certain songs that it "knows" - it will put them in a file with that song. I have copied that file to other songs - put the correct image for that song in the file - but it won't show in the media player - it will show in "Images." How do you get it to show in the media player and not images?

I woke up this morning to find that my iphone had sent a imessenge to a ramdon number at 3:50 am, the message sent out said 'test' and then that number sent a reponse saying 'reply'. I texted the number asking who it was and they replied with a '?', they then sent another message from my phone saying 'test 4'.

Is this Apple testing or has my phone been hacked ?

I plugged my iphone 5s in to itunes and for a minute, it wouldn't let me do much. Then I noticed, once it was done doing whatever it was, that some albums were wrong. For example, Ain't It Fun by Paramore shows the Backstreet Boys album. As Long As You Love Me by Backstreet Boys shows Katy Perry, Black Balloon by The Goo Goo Dolls shows Nelly's Just A Dream.Â
This is the second time this has happened. Last time, I just deleted the songs and redownloded them, which did work, but this time there are way too many messed up. Plus, I'd rather know what's going on so it doesn't happen again.Â

I was listening to one of my playlists on my 5s and was looking at the album cover on the "Now Playing" screen. Playlist was on shuffle, and when the next track came on, no artwork. I hit the back button to see the playlist, and every song had converted to a black box with with the album artist and title printed diagonally.
I had not added anything, or synced to iTunes during this time. I did, however, purchase one track from iTunes directly to my phone earlier in the day. Interestingly, that most recent track is the only one that still has artwork. I have a 32gb, with 3.5gb available, if that matters. I turned the phone off and on, then hooked up to my computer's iTunes, highlighted all albums and clicked "get album artwork," watched as the ticker at the top of the screen scrolled through the numbers of albums being updated. Once finished, synced iPhone to the computer. Â
What caused every piece of artwork and genre icon pics to be removed in the course of a playlist shuffling from one track to the next?Â

When ever i try to create a New Album from a selected group of pictures in My library Force close message is displayed.

when i try to add photos to a new gallery, i receive the following: 'the application gallery (process.com.motorola.gallery) has stopped unexpectedly. pleae try again.' i have tried only selecting one photo to more, moved my photos from the external sd card to internal storage and get the same message every time. i've also searched several forums and see that the photon is not the only phone to suffer from this same issue, however i have found no fix to the problem.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI thought I was imagining this for a while but I can confirm for sure that my Photon loses track of the default number for a contact.
I wernt throught the 5 people in my dialer favorites and selected the default number i.e. work/mobile for each one. Now none of them have a default number selected. Is anyone else experiencing this? It drives me nuts. I have not been able to determine if it is my travel outside of the US and switching numbers that causes it or not. Either way I would not expect that to change my default selections.
I'm not sure that i'm the only one with this issue, but I have a custom ringtone set for both my calls and my notifications. Now what happens is when i plug my phone into my pc and use it as a mass storage drive (at least I think its whats causing the problem) my ringtones automatically switch from my custom ones to the default ones. This gets to be really aggravating to have to change them both back everytime, especially since I have an additional silent ringtone for all the oter notification sounds that you cant turn off (facebook, e-mail, and plugging the device in to the PC) which may I add, is an issue within an issue but I can live with it. My files are in the internal memory, not on the SD card and in the default media/audio/notifications or ringtones.

Every time I select my phone as the Music source in the BMW Nav, the phone chooses the last used music source. So, if I've rebooted the phone and haven't used any media players on phone, it opens the Samsung built in music player and plays the demo song that came with the S6.
If I last opened Spotify, the next time I select my phone Spotify auto plays. Same with Pandora.
Any way to select a default and work around this "last used" setting?
I've seen a couple comments here and there re: the Phonton keyboard being "difficult", and I think those comments are completely warranted when you consider the settings Motorola / Sprint use as the phone ships. They ship it with Auto correct OFF! I came to this phone after 4+ years of blackberrying. I knew the soft keyboard was going to be an adjustment, but with the Photon it was REALLY bad out of the gate. I'd type something, see that I miss-typed it, then I'd have to select the correct word out of the list above the keyboard (assuming it had some idea of what I was after). Very tedious... So I went poking around in the settings and saw they had a auto-correct setting and it was turned OFF!

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've noticed on different websites and forums that people are having problem attaching album covers to albums they've added to their native Xoom music player. In order to ensure all your music has the appropriate albums attached, I would suggest using Windows Media Player. The steps are as follows.
Step 1. Add music to the "Library" with the list of songs from your artist of choice.
Step 2. Then browse to the album that is missing art.
Step 3. Using either Internet Explorer or Windows Explorer, in another window, find a picture that you want to use for album art (the picture can be in a file on your computer or on a webpage), right-click the picture, and then click Copy.
Step 4. In your library, right-click the album art box, and then click Paste Album Art.
A copy of the picture is embedded into each of the songs from that album. The copy of the picture is automatically scaled to the appropriate size and converted to the JPEG format before it is embedded in the file. The original picture file is not modified.
Step 5. Drag files from your library to the "Sync" tab, then sync songs to your Xoom. Now when you check your Xoom you should have all the album artwork attached to your albums.
Anbody know how to change the album art in the music app? Shows the same ones everytime I run the music app thought it should randomize the art each time you load it or could change what is displayed yourself
