View 1 Replies View Related1) what "stages" are and how they're used? There is nothing in the manual about them.
2) Is there no way to have the live data screen display the total time and distance since the beginning of the workout? It appears that you can only choose lap, stage, or zone time.
My workouts display with the correct date and time. The Schedule and My Frequency Calendar displays completed workouts 1 day later.
I believe my settings are correct. Maybe the website is using a different time?

View 2 Replies View RelatedHow do I change the time of day of the workout? I chose the beginner Carmicheal 5K plan and did the first workout today. Before I did the workout I noticed that it had me starting at 4:00 AM. I have no problem getting up early--but I'm not doing any workout at 4:00 AM. I usually start between 7:30 - 8:00 AM. Is there a way to adjust that?
When the workout synced it showed up as just a run and still has me listed for another workout today. In another words it recognized my workout but not as part of the traning plan. I don't think I need to run two of those a day--one is enough! Is there any way to correct that?

View 5 Replies View RelatedPlease note a couple of minor bugs.1) Date displayn the options of the MotoACTV device you can set the date display format to the ISO unambiguous yyyy/mm/dd format, which is what I prefer. On the motoactv web app Under Display Preferences/Data Format, there is only dd/MM/yyyy and MM/dd/yyyy. Please provide the more sane unabiguous yyyy/mm/dd format so this can be consistent.) Display Units My Display Units are set to Metric. However on the MotoACTV web app when I select Workouts/Latest Workout/Workout Stats, the distance and pacing are recorded in km, but the elevation shows in ft. I am not sure at this point if it is the 'ft' label is wrong, or the actual numeric display and/or conversion is wrong, but you guys I'm sure can figure this out. You can verify this here:
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have my display settings so that the display goes off after 1 minute. This works when I activate the display and navigate around, the screen then goes off after 1 minute based on the last touch. But if I just hit the power button or shake to wake the display, and I don't touch the screen, then the display goes off after a few seconds.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there a way to keep the display on and not timed to go off? I generally ride or run a few hours and would need the display to stay on to be useful.I also would like to use it as a watch but that times out also and turns the display off.
View 1 Replies View Relatedbeen reading forums on exporting workouts (rides) and seem to be missing something:
where do i find the .csv data files to upload to SportTracks? What I am really trying to do is convert files to .gpx (or .tcx)so I can add rides to Strava.
If this can be achieved directly to Strava...The Motoactv watch will become a hit in Australia, giving the Garmin Edge solid competition.
I have oceania maps loaded, though the display is blank on the device... it tracks and shows position during workouts, just the background is blank.
Today is my rest day. However, when I sat down to organize my training schedule for the coming week, the schedule was showing a weight training workout completed today. It appears that last Sunday's workout is displaying as completed today. This kind of thing was happening shortly after the big software update in March. This is not the only problem I am currently having and I am bouncing around multiple threads at this time. I reiterate, I am happy with the new features included in the recent update, but I am not so happy with the basic functions that seem to have gone awry in its wake.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIn the settings you can select what you want to display. I know that the distance in miles is displayed in the upper right corner all the time but it is so small and I don't wear my glasses when I'm running so I can never read what it says.
Is there a way to select the distance in miles as one of the four metric settings you can select to have displayed on the workout screen? If so can you tell me what it is called because when I select the "Distance" settings that isn't it. And I have no idea what "Distance - Stage" is but I tried that and it didn't show the distance I ran as one of the four settings in the center of the screen either.
Right now I have the pace selected and when you tap on it it fills practically the whole screen so I can read that without my glasses. But I want to be able to read how many miles I have run.
For the past couple of weeks, I have had some problems with the HR display. The device will show my HR shifting rapidly from up to 209 BPM down to 0BPM and occasionally to no reading at all. This usually happens at the beginning of a workout and goes to normal after several minutes. I keep my chest strap very clean so I know that it isn't dirt and sweat disrupting transmission. When it first started I assumed that it was a sign of a dying battery but changing it didn't make a difference. This only happens during running and aerobic activities. With weight training and yoga there doesn't seem to be a problem.

Motoactv is at 1.7.2 N16, normal sampling rate.

View 1 Replies View RelatedA few days ago I went for a run, got back, went on [url]... to see my workout... but it wasn't there. At first I thought it just didn't sync yet, manually synced it, still nothing. After playing around with it for a bit, I started reading through the forums and came across the "Class Action Lawsuit" thread where in the guys rant he says "It constantly resets the date and time so you're workout will show up as 4 months in the past ( not ideal for a training log) "
