BB Tour 9630 :: Sending SMS After Low Battery Followed By Battery Recharge
Jan 10, 2010I have a problem with my tour.after I get a low battery notification and the radio turns off I charge my battery and then afterwards I can't send SMS.I can send and receive emails, receive SMS and surf the web, but until I do a battery pull I cant send them.Seems kind of weird that this would be normal. After the battery is charged, what is the purpose of preventing me from sending?Is there a fix?

Jan 27, 2010I am using bold 9700 and bold 9000 at the same time. My bold 9000 was os 4.6 since the OS 5.0 is available. I updated the os 5.0.0.414. However, the battery seems like an issue for me. It get hot so easily and the battery level drop off very fast even I didnt really use it. One day I need to charge it for 3 times. May I know what is the problem about this? Is this due to the OS or what?

Jul 3, 2010I have read the helpful advice posted on this subject. But it does not help. I have a Bold 9000 and accidently I let it run completely and utterly dead. Now whatever I do, I cannot start it. I have plugged it into a charger, I bought a car lead because I have found that this gives a boost, and I have bought a new battery.
Whatever I do, it does not work. Unlike previous writers, when I plug it into any of the charging sources I do not even get a red light, absolutely nothing. When I attach it to the computer nothing is recognised. I am sure that it has not been physically damaged, it has merely run absolutely flat.I am stuck in a holiday destination. Can anyone advise me?

Also, I noticed that the browser goes back to the last page I was on. When I used to power off my other smartphones, the browser would start up on the home page. Sep 7, 2012Basically I charge my phone with the mains charger, everything looks fine, the orange light comes on and the battery symbol in the corner shows that it is charging. I leave it charging overnight, so it's usually plugged in for a good 7 hours, however, when I wake up the next morning the phone isn't fully charged, at best I am on 50% and at worst the battery symbol is yellow.
I've been upgraded to ICS quite a while and have not installed any new apps recently so I am a bit stumped as to what the issue is. I thought maybe it was the battery, but I have since bought a new battery and I get the same issue with this also. A factory reset has also not sorted the issue.

Nov 12, 2011i've got my Sensation XE 2 weeks now... and its a very nice phone, but some things are oddly wrong :S
first thing is, i looked at 3G watchdog thismorning, and my device had been eating 200 MB's of internet WHILE I WAS SLEEPING this is not normal use and i have no clue what caused it (i installed 3g watchdog pro this morning)
second thing is, my android system process seems to be eating away battery life rapidly, its using up to 40% cpu (according to watchdog) and com.htc.bg is using roughly 20% okay, i just saw something happening, i restored a backup, watched my cpu, and then my virus scanner said something about com.android.vending being installed, and i saw my android system process skyrocket in cpu usage
yes, i have rooted my phone, and yes i deleted some system applications (like facebook, htc facebook, and some other crappy useless stuff, nothing that should harm my phone)

Jul 20, 2011I have had the phone for about three weeks now. I am past the 14 day remorse period and I didn't start having problems till after this period... Sometimes the phone will just reset bact to the white HTC screen then return to the home page after a few seconds, it sometimes asks to send the error report and sometimes it doesn't. It only did this once or twice out of the blue but now I am noticing it is doing it more often now. The phone has now also started to reboot back to the white HTC screen then show the t-mobile red letters screen then start up. One time it was completely off even though it had battery power and I had to turn it back on. Just last night I was in the middle of a phone call when the phone just dropped the call then rebooted to the white HTC screen then said it recovered from a fatal error or whatever the message says and asked me to report it.
