I did a walk today and after a while, I was amused to first hear over the headphones that it was the longest distance I had done, then a bit later the longest duration and finally the most calories.At the end, I noticed one minor error. It said I had done my longest distance of 4.02 kilometers but my units were miles and I had in fact done 4.02 miles. This was correct in the normal summary field.
View 3 RepliesThis particular bug isn't a show stopper by any means, but I thought I would bring it to your attention. On my way to work this morning, I forgot to end my workout. Luckily for me, Auto-pause had paused it for about an hour and a half before I remembered to hit "End Workout." As you can see from the screenshot below, the portal seems aware of the fact that the workout was only 37 minutes long, but the graph is displayed as if it were a 2 hour workout. "Elapsed" time for mouseovers is also incorrect.

On the motoactv web app Under Display Preferences/Data Format, there is only dd/MM/yyyy and MM/dd/yyyy. Please provide the more sane unabiguous yyyy/mm/dd format so this can be consistent.) Display Units My Display Units are set to Metric. However on the MotoACTV web app when I select Workouts/Latest Workout/Workout Stats, the distance and pacing are recorded in km, but the elevation shows in ft. I am not sure at this point if it is the 'ft' label is wrong, or the actual numeric display and/or conversion is wrong, but you guys I'm sure can figure this out. You can verify this here:

I switched to BIS synch since Google synch vanished. An event put into the calendar on the desktop is synched into the handheld with the time moved back an hour. Events on the handheld synch perfectly into the computer calendar. This is not a time zone issue. Is there a patch for this?

View 14 Replies View RelatedI've owned the MotoActv for two month, I got the mysterious "moisture issues" that everyone seems to be getting even though I've never used it in the rain. But the thing that is driving me nuts is the music. When I hit random shuffle of all my songs, I hear songs I don't want to hear... song that I do not own on my computer. Where are these songs coming from? Today I heard "Boot Scoot Boogie!" I abhore country music as does my wife. Doing a computer wide search shows no evidence that the song exists on my computer. Yet there it is playing in mile four. Other mystery songs have showed up too. The performance music playlist seems to be filled with songs I never heard of, yet evidently I perform well to them.

I'm really ticked off because they did not give me any approximate date on when I can get my unit. So last monday I called to the service center to check if I can pick the phone already as one week has past. They said that they will follow it up which makes me think if they are doing something about my phone. Then I called this afternoon (Philippine time), they said that it is in the main service center then I asked, when will I get my phone. The person from the service center said that he doesnt know because they cannot connect to the site or whatsover of the main service center.

Perhaps it's a problem with my unit, but if I wear the MA as a watch, no Bluetooth, no music etc. I have it timed out at 15 secs (makes a boring watch) and the brightness guite low... it never lasts the whole day before I have to recharge it. Seems a bit pointless having a "watch" that runs out of power before the day is through.If you use the MA simply as a watch (ignoring the silly steps counter which can't be turned off!) how long do you get?
