I broke my data settings (Motorola Razr Maxx Ve) and switched things over to QNC for now so I could at least do MMS (slowly).The thing is; It only works sometimes unless I have it plugged into my PC, and then it always works. What's the difference when having it plugged it? Does having the phone plugged into the computer enable the QNC because it's in modem mode or something like that?

My iPhone 4s won't connect to my car head unit it comes up connected and then half way thought it comes up as not connected and when I try to connect again it come up as device is out of range even when the phone is right next to it?

I am connected to wifi and up till about 3 days ago everything was working fine, now it shows I am connected, but I can only get on internet for about 5 mins, I have to shut off all my connections then reconnect them for it to work again.

We have WiFi and the phone indicate that they are connected to the WiFi when we are in the house. However, my bill from Bell indicates several instances where the phones (all 4 at different times) are connected to the 3G network for 24+ hours at a time. Additionally, it shows the phone connected twice during that time period (as though there were 2 different sessions at exactly the same time, but with differing amount of data connected)
The explaination that Bell gives me is that there are 'minimized' applications still working on 3G even though the phone says it is on WiFi, and that each of these opens its own 'connection'My understanding of cell technology is that the phone can only access one method of Internet connectivity at a time, and that it can be explained as a 'pipe' or 'straw' carrying connectivity and all of the data. I have never heard of a phone that can access two different types at the same time, nor one that uses separate 'sessions' at the same time of either type of connectivity.
I would assume that I turn on my phone in the morning and I am in my house, it indicates WiFi, so I can browse the web, collect my email and update my Facebook on that 'session' that lasts 4 hours until I leave the house. Now my 3G kicks in and the email that I still have open now collects through the opened 3G session, as well as the page I left open downloading something.When I get to work and enter my WiFi area there, the session would then collect my email through WiFi again, and my download as well.

When I initially received my Droid 3, 2 weeks ago, I had no problem with either my PC or laptop recognizing the phone when connected via USB. I was given the options in the notification bar for USB Mass storage, charging only, etc. Went to transfer some files 2 days ago, hooked up the USB cord and neither computer would recognize the phone, tho the phone was charging off of the usb cable from the computer. I have reinstalled the drivers on both computers, tried it on my work computer and nothing. Could an APP inhibit my phone from connecting to the computer? I have uninstalled my Task Killer and some other Apps that I think could be inhibiting this. IS there a way to force the phone to turn on USB? I couldn't find anything in settings.

I'm very happy with the product however, I seem to be unable make internet connection using my Vodaphone Australia mobile broadband SIM card. When the card is inserted and no Wi-Fi avaiable tha table seems to be connected to Vodafone 3G ( right bottom corner ) however I'm unable to browse internet nor can I do any other activities requiring internet access. The message I see says:
No Network connection
At this point I do not know whether there is something wrong with my xoom tablet setting or I shold take this issue with Vodafone Australia. I'm using same SIM card on my laptom and it all works.

I am using the MotoActv with Mac OSx Lion, all devices updated to the most recent versions. All had been working perfectly until yesterday. Now, when I plug in via USB port to sync music and run data, MotocastUSB loads, but the message at the bottom of the screen says "Connect your Device" and all of the indicators say 0GB available. (see screen shot)When I press the Sync button, I get a Sync complete message with Media sync:failed. Fitness sync: successful.(see screen shot) When i then press the Sync History button, I get the message Music:writeCommandToDevice failed. No connection to device. View 15 Replies View RelatedMy Xprt was able to connect to my Bluetooth (Q Ant 2) without any issue. Over the past two days it cannot connect. I have removed battery from the phone, Shutdown/rebooted, made it scan for devices, cried/screamed etc. and to no avail. I get an audio prompt from my headset that states ( "Unable to connect") On my Xprt in the Bluetooth section I get "connecting...." then it will sate "paired but unable to connect".

I tried the router people (their "fixes" did not work), AT&T couldn't help, Motorola couldn't help and I even took my phone to Best Buy where I purchased it and their fix worked for a bit now I can't get it to work. There is a way to change the security settings and I can't get back there. Of course I found it by accident before and now I can't get back there. I am connected and can't use the browser. Sometimes it connected 5 minutes later but nowadays doesn't work at all.By power charger it is charging normally.When it's plugged to the computer, the phone's screen lights up, but doesn't connect or charge. If I tick on/off meanwhile the USB debug, the USB sign shows up but it's still not charging or connecting. If I plug it into the wall it charges so I know the phone is not broken. I have tried holding down the power button, power ad volume down, power and volume up, power and camera....If I plug it in while still alive and choose the USB function as "charge only" it will charge, but no other time. Does it always have to be "charge only"? I cannot charge and look at files at the same time?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Droid 4 for my phone, my computer is a desktop running Windows 7 64 bit ultimate. I've tried to connect to MotoCast both wirelessly and with the USB cable. I Uninstalled it and redownloaded it. The part on my computer refuses to stay online, even when I am in MyMotoCast browsing through the files! I have all the settings allowed, it's on a clear port.I gave up and removed my SD card and manually loaded movies and music onto the card, and popped it back into the phone, it was much quicker than waiting on MotoCast's 10 seconds of connect time every time I reset it.
I also find that trying to rearrange a playlist gets buggy after a couple songs. Why is it designed to rewrite the whole 5(ish)kb that is the song to a new location rather than just relink to it? For every OTHER application, a playlist is a series of links that point to your songs. What it is NOT is a physical arrangement of those songs. Why is my phone's playlist a physical arrangement of those songs?
when you connect the X2 to your computer, that it looks like it has two drives? This might to relate to my question/post about how in Quick Office I see only two folder options (dcim and LOST.dir) that happen to be on one drive, and then everything else seems to be stored on the other drive. I know the X2 has two processors, but that does not mean it has two "drives".

View 2 Replies View RelatedI ordered an extended life battery for my Defy, 3500mah battery that came with a new battery cover. after I installed it, I noticed that every time I connect the usb cable, the phone reboots! I tried connecting the phone first instead of having the charger pluged into the wall and still, it reboots every time! if I leave it connected and let it reboot, it will power up again and go on to charge. also the usb still works to connect with my pc, but again I have to wait till it reboots!

View 4 Replies View RelatedJust picked up my RAZR. Only issue so far is the WiFi. The phone will connect to my home network but any attempt to use the browser gives a connection error. Same issue with any application that requires a data connection. My laptop connects with no issue and my Droid X connects with no problem.
