View 3 Replies View Related1. After the upgrade Music App which came preloaded in GB 2.3.6 is no longer available in ICS. ( i got app hellobob - member atrix 2)I purchased this mobile phone because of music clarity & superb beats which were in the music app CMP preloaded in 2.3.6. There were some disadvantages with this player but agianst sound clarity they were nothing.
2. After the upgrade Task manager app is also not available.
3. music player haas been replaced with googles glay music app (google Play) which is totally upsetting, no clarity in the sound, noisy sharp voice, no beats clarity. (nokia mobile which are within 2000rs play better than this.)
4. Unable to control the memory consumed by runnig application,. of 1 GB RAM if you continue install more app phone will start hanging beccause of you are unable to control the running process which are consuming lot of memory. This is big drawback in terms of performance of mobile.
5. No option to above in the phone settings. No of processes shifts to standad every time when you restart the phone. This setting is availble under developer option, i am not sure if this control the running apps.
6. Upon the power button press immediately open up password screen for enterprise users this is sometimes may cause problem if user keeping mobile pocket & get keys preseed automatically, or keys pressed by kids or friends not knowing the password. Additionaly no of attemps remaining is not displaying, earlier used to display the same. This is really big drawback - as entire phone data will be erased including data on SD card.
7. Vibration control features are not available.There are some more important basic simple phone features in terms of user options ( accessbility) missing in motorola atrix 2 (may be other motorola phones as well) - major drawback - which I shall open another thread to discuss the same. This features I had in my Nokia 6233 which I had purchased 6 years back (might have been designed 7yrs back). That was just an 7 MB ROM mobile. These missing features really making me unhappy with Atrix 2/Motorola.
When I receive a new SMS message it shows up in the universal inbox widget. But when I tap on the arrow to reply to this message, I can type a reply but there is no send button. If I go to the actual message thread I can reply and send, no problem. But how can I get the send button to appear when replying to messages via the universal inbox?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought my brand new Motorola Atrix 2, a week back in India and am facing a peculiar problem with the phone. I am on Vodafone network and have a 3G plan with them, but my phone does not connect to the 3G network at all.
After reading several posts in the forum, I found out that it was a software problem with the phone and I had to install a 3rd party software from the Google Play site called "Network" to solve the problem.I also upgraded my software to ICS and that happened smoothly but my wifi is also not stable and keeps disconnecting every 3 to 4 minutes? Is there anyone who can help me with this as well.

I tried the router people (their "fixes" did not work), AT&T couldn't help, Motorola couldn't help and I even took my phone to Best Buy where I purchased it and their fix worked for a bit now I can't get it to work. There is a way to change the security settings and I can't get back there. Of course I found it by accident before and now I can't get back there. I am connected and can't use the browser. This is starting to tick me off!! I have had this phone 2 weeks and no solution to the problem. The thing is I can connect to my work WEP but not my home router.

And one more thing: when I scan for devices, it scans and scans but will not detect/find any device.

Both devices will find each other and get as far as putting in the code to make sure they are the right device, then my computer confirms the connection and my phone shows up in Bluetooth devices, but on my phone is shows paired but not connected and there is no option to connect, only to unpair.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIf my Atrix 2 dies and I use to USB cable to connect it to my laptop, it will not charge or turn on. The notification light turns white and stays constant. If I plug it into the wall it charges so I know the phone is not broken. I have tried holding down the power button, power ad volume down, power and volume up, power and camera....If I plug it in while still alive and choose the USB function as "charge only" it will charge, but no other time. Does it always have to be "charge only"? I cannot charge and look at files at the same time?

After ICS update in November i have to toggle Airplane mode on and off to get wifi connection back after a period of not useing it on my phone .
My wife was reluctant to update hers when I did as she doesn't like change. However over time her phone kept droping wifi network connection. I would have to power it down and remove battery and sim card to get it to stay on wif for a few days. Finaly that was no longer a fix. I went to a AT&T hotspot and downloaded the latest ICS update.on her phone No matter what I do it will connect to our network wifi and bring in mail etc for about ten seconds then the singal bars change from white to blue, The settings menue shows wifi still on blue connected but the signal bars shows blue. Her data use would indicate it is indee using cingular data.
I'm a fresh owner of xoom tablet. I'm very happy with the product however, I seem to be unable make internet connection using my Vodaphone Australia mobile broadband SIM card. When the card is inserted and no Wi-Fi avaiable tha table seems to be connected to Vodafone 3G ( right bottom corner ) however I'm unable to browse internet nor can I do any other activities requiring internet access. The message I see says:
No Network connection
At this point I do not know whether there is something wrong with my xoom tablet setting or I shold take this issue with Vodafone Australia. I'm using same SIM card on my laptom and it all works.
I am having issues with my bluetooth connection after installing the recent att update. It will show as connected but I can't hear the other person. I have to switch between bluetooth and speaker to hear the other peson. I never had problems before. I thought it is bluetooth problem and just received new headset from plantronics and it is doing the same.

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I put my Atrix in my HD dock and the dock is powered on, the Atrix automatically brings up the widget clock in landscape. When the dock is powered off, nothing happens (screen stays off). Is there a way to start the widget clock mode manually -- I do not want to leave the Atrix charging all the time. I notice that there is an app to start the car dock view. Is there one to start the landscape clock widget? The Atrix is up to date running 2.3.4.

After that my phone will detect the wifi in my room and it will connect to the wifi, but no internet access. And the same time it is working fine with the wifi in my office. So i did the Factory data reset, but still its not working. My friends are using different android phones and they are able to access the internet, even I can use my laptop to connect to the wifi.
