I have a Morotola Razr2 V8 for a year or two... but recently I drop it and broke, the phone still works, but the screen doesn't. (I later saw that the cable that feed the screen it was completly torn)
I still have some contacts in this phone that I need to recover. I try to use a Motorola Rockr that use the same OS so I can see what I am going, but it seems that the menu are slightly different.
I know, but since I'm doing the rooting stuff, I need to turn off the device but since the screen is all black I can't press the "turn off device" in the screen

Instead I receive a message "Incorrect Number".The problem is this. My mobile service provider has given me a number to check my balance and last 3 call charges by dialing the following numbers:

But the above numbers are identified to be invalid in Nokia N900.
I've had an E72 for a week now, and must say that I find the keypad unlock combination of top-left followed by top-right combination most annoying! the phone continuously unlocks itself while in my pocket, and then starts calling, taking pictures, etc.. Using the (very tight) cover does not make any difference. Is there a way to change this into any other combination? (like power button first, then top left or right? or use the center button which is well protected?)

I was able to log app world and download things etc. But today I downloaded an update from app world and now it wont let me log in at all. The authenticationprotocol we're using is PEAP-MSCHAPv2. In short I can't seem to get it to work on either a Nokia E71 or E72 while it works perfectly on our laptops using either the native Microsoft WZC or Intel PROSet and on a HTC S740. In the NPS event log, the same event occurs 3 times (some information is obfuscated for obvious reasons), the critical part I guess is the last line "An internal error occurred". I can really only guess why there would be an internal error with the Nokia phones and not with any other phones or laptops. The eventlogentry on the Microsoft NPS:...............
I was sent a new Blackberry curve 8520 as my old one broke, and am trying to set up my email accounts again. First, I couldn't remember my username/password combination for BIS. I rang my service provider several times and was told that it was nothing to do with them and that only Blackberry could sort out the situation. Well eventually I managed to get in to my email settings and set up two email accounts, however there was still one more I wanted to set up, but when I tried to log in again it wouldn't work! Even though I used the same combination as before. Using my username, I requested my password to be sent to me and it said it was sending but I still haven't gotten anything.

When I view my contacts and pull up the menu to choose settings. I go to choose AT&T Address Book - You can change your address book settings. When I choose it I get the error : The application Contacts (process com.motorola.blur.contacts) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. View 8 Replies View RelatedI assigned pics to a bunch of my contacts and was pleased to see they synced over to my Exchange account. All of my Android phones I've had since then (G1, Droid, G2, Sidekick 4) pulled those pictures down from Exchange once I set up my contact sync and showed them in Contacts, when I'd get an incoming call from that person, in the text messaging app, etc.
But, the Droid3 doesn't. I'm guessing this is because it looks like it uses a custom app for Exchange, but still, I'd like to see it fixed/added. FWIW, contact pics from my Google+ contacts do show up.
Hi , I need to display only Sim contacts in phone contacts option rather than contacts that are saved in memory card. According to me knowledge there is a bug in these cell phone perhaps if you have any old nokia phone you may find this option.

I am trying to find out how I can go about hiding those factory installed contacts (like the AT&T ones). I've attempted to delete them, but it says unable to delete read only contacts/files, but that they can be hidden. I've looked under options/edit, and don't see a hide option/setting.

View 6 Replies View RelatedSomething happened to my contact database yesterday and now whenever I access any contacts, look at texts, etc. my phone is very slow to either start the SMS program (the force close/wait dialog continually comes up) or the contact takes a while for the data to appear.Is there a way to erase all the contacts out of the database and resync them all? If so, will erasing the contacts also erase call history, etc? If it does is there a way to not lose this information?
