May 25, 2010I have used the search feature and been unable to find any information on this so if it is posted elsewhere I apologize. I have a Verizon Razr V3m that I would like to flash to Metro PCS. I am completely new to this process and need very easy to follow directions on how to do this. I do have slightly better than average computer skills so have a good understanding of how to do things.
Basically I need to know what program is best to download to do this, what the steps are to complete the process and what I should know before I start, ie: how to back up files from the phone that I am flashing, which files to back up, etc.

Apr 25, 2010I bought a LG Dare (vx9700) from a friend. I have the metropcs network. I took it to a store and they where able to flash it and get voice and text. I later got the internet working thanks to this wonderful site. I never got MMS working but did not care to at the time. I could always receive MMS, i just could not send them. Considering the fact that i was so successful getting the internet to work, i figured i would give MMS another shot. I found a tutorial on how to get the MMS working through LGDownload, I only edited the MMS tab then i wrote the new config to the phone. However when the phone rebooted, I had nothing, no voice, no text, and no internet. Is there anyone on here that can help me or that is going throught the same problem?

Jun 5, 2010Ok so I bought an env2 off a guy on craigslist. I dropped my old one in a puddle but I really loved my env 2 so I bought a used one from someone on craigslist. When I went to activate it I discovered it was on revol's network, I dont live in the city hence I can get coverage on revol. Still says verizon all over it when you turn it on and off. I am not very savvy with cell phones but I am with a computer. I took it to the verizon store and they tried to put new firmware on it but it didnt work. I have a tough time beleiving that it can go from verizons network to revols but not back, if anyone has a way that I can flash the phone back to verizon.

Jan 24, 2010I had ALOT of problems trying to flash my HTC Touch to CricKet so here is a guide to flash your phone and skip the problems I had.
1. Download GetSPC
2. Copy GetSPC.exe to the device its self or to a SD card.
3. Browse the device to find the GetSPC using File Explorer.
4. Run GetSPC
5. Enter your ESN HEX in the first box and then press "go" or something
6. In the "output" box it should be a 6 diget number.
7. Write this down you'll need it later.
8. Put the phone into "DIAG" mode by dialing ##3424# a program should launch
9. Once launched plug the phone Via USB into your computer
10. Drivers should install if not heres what I use -> Drivers
11. Download QPST
12. Once installed launch QPST Configuration
13. It should say SURF##### or something if not add ports, keep adding ports until phone is detected.
14. Once detected click on "Start Clients" then "Service Programing"
15. Once launched click on your phone.
16. Select "Read from phone" at the bottom
17. under codes change the "Service Programing code" to 000000
18. Then select "Write to phone"
19. Click on the "Roaming" or "Roam" Tab
20. Download a CricKet .PRL file from here
21. Once downloaded click on "Browse" on QPST Service Programing
22. Locate the CricKet .PRL
23. Select "Write to phone"
24. Then you'll need to call CricKet and ask them for your MSID or MID to your phone number, or if you already had a Windows Mobile phone dial ##000000#
25. Then you'll need to dial ##PST# (##778#)
26. Then Follow these steps -> Steps Credits to RyanMogul6800 for settings
27. Then you should run a CricKet ROM
MAKE SURE YOUR PHONE HAS BEEN UNLOCKED USING COKEMAN'S 2.31 UNLOCKER!!

29. You'll need to run a CricKet ROM Vetvito, makes some pretty good ROMs here is a link to them -> Link
30. Once you run the ROM updater you'll need to get a CricKet .CAB for Internet and MMS heres the .CAB
31. After that you should just need to activate it on your CricKet account
32. Go out and show off how great CricKet really is!!!

Nov 26, 2012How is it possible to change the esn free without cdma ws newer paid versions.I was able to use Qpst for m old thunderbolt and unlocked the nvm folder and hex edit the esn.Im able to use UNI_CDMA and read the memory and Change the Esn by hex editing the file. But when I go to restore and Click mix match esn. It restores but stops at 100% and the phone resets and it says connect error.
Any help? Im just trying to flash it to revol myself without the 50 dollar charge.

However since it has a cap on data per month I want it to be secondary to several other unlimited WiFi networks such as my office WiFi, home WiFi, free WiFi hotspots, etc. Is there any work around to make the MiFi wireless (or any permanent wireless network) 2nd to all other recognized networks? This is the ideal set-up for my iPhone 4 and iPad 2 WiFi. I don't want to have to turn the MiFi on and off constantly, I want it on in the background as a seamless secondary option. I appreciate any insight and find it odd that you cannot prioritize networks. Meaning if I "forgot this network" and start over will the 1st joined or most recent joined become primary when there are multiple networks available?
