I have a lg-vx11000 for verizon, and I need to flash it to metropcs, can anyone help me with doing this?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI bought a LG Dare (vx9700) from a friend. I have the metropcs network. I took it to a store and they where able to flash it and get voice and text. I later got the internet working thanks to this wonderful site. I never got MMS working but did not care to at the time. I could always receive MMS, i just could not send them. Considering the fact that i was so successful getting the internet to work, i figured i would give MMS another shot. I found a tutorial on how to get the MMS working through LGDownload, I only edited the MMS tab then i wrote the new config to the phone. However when the phone rebooted, I had nothing, no voice, no text, and no internet. Is there anyone on here that can help me or that is going throught the same problem?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have used the search feature and been unable to find any information on this so if it is posted elsewhere I apologize. I have a Verizon Razr V3m that I would like to flash to Metro PCS. I am completely new to this process and need very easy to follow directions on how to do this. I do have slightly better than average computer skills so have a good understanding of how to do things.
Basically I need to know what program is best to download to do this, what the steps are to complete the process and what I should know before I start, ie: how to back up files from the phone that I am flashing, which files to back up, etc.
I have Motorola QA30 hint. It is right now Revol Wireless.I want to flash it on Metro PCs.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAs the title suggests, I have a US Cellular branded Razr V9m that I want to flash to use the Sprint Firmware. I got a copy of the sprint monster firmware (decrypted).I also found the Mark_Venture guide detailing how to flash the VZW Monster firmware to this model. However, I see that there are a few Verizion-specific things that need to be done in order to make this go...I assume that some of these may not be necessary to make mine work on the sprint network.
So, I was hoping that someone else out there may have done this successfully and could give me a few pointers so as to help me avoid bricking a phone I just started working with.Once flashed with the Sprint FW, I should be able to contact them and have service switched to the new phone, right?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been using google and this forum's seach feature to try to get the answer to my question, but I've read different things and ended up confused.First of all, I have unlocked my Spring Samsung and uploaded the 01040 Cricket PRL and it seems to be working because when I dial 611 I get a message from Cricket. Over the air programming doesn't seem to work when dialing *228, and from reading threads I am guessing I will have to do it manually.I am confused as to at what step do I call Cricket Customer service to get some info I need. Plus, from reading another topic someone said I need to get the min#, mdn#, and sid# http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...nstinct-please from Cricket CS, is this correct? Or what info do I need to ask Cricket CS in order to continue to QPST configuration?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI am assisting a good friend of mine with flashing his Instinct to Metro. His Instinct went down and he bought another on ebay. I am trying to save him a few dollars as he has a lot on his plate with his mortgage and all. I owned an Instinct at one time so I am familiar with the "debug menu" etc. I am also pretty tech savvy and am always tweaking my devices...however have never flashed a phone. I understand I may need QTSP...If you have a link for download it would be appreciated. If you have a link to a step by step or could pass on instructions it would be greatly appreciated.

Knowing the right way to pose this question is probably harder than answering it.I want to use an ATT Nokia 6750 phone in Mexico with cell provider Telcel. I have to unlock the phone. No problem. Lots of places in town will do that for a fee. I also want to buy Telcel's 3G service and use it on the same phone. A possibly uninformed Telcel agent says it's impossible because the phone has ATT's software not Telcel's. I suspect he is wrong.
Will an unlocked ATT phone with a Telcel SIM successfully connect to a 3G network OR is there some Telcel software gatekeeper to prevent this? Do you suppose he is just talking about the Access Point configuration? Any ideas? Partial answers are often helpful it you don't have the full answer.
after arguing with sprint for hours and trying to "legally" get PAM added to my account with no avail, i got tired of arguing and hung up and decided to see if i could get around it on a BB while still having a decent plan.well you can.
These instructions are at your own risk, and while i was able to do it to both a curve and a pearl, and im assuming since all BB's are about the same it should work on the tour and 8830, it's at your own risk.
I am not posting this from my normal username, as it's a little risky for me to do so so please know that i've had plenty of posts on here and been around since '04 Ok so here goes.Step 1: Install QPST 2.7 build 215 (this is very important, no other one will work, find it yourself )
Step 2: Obtain your MSL/SPC from Sprint (if you dont already have it)Step 3: Get your PowerVision Username (if you dont know it, you can do ##xxxxxx and press call from the homescreen x=msl/spc, it's the [URL] in the list)Step 4: Start BBDM and QPST Configuration at the same time, then once you add the port to QPST, selct "Service Programming" from the drop down menu.
Step 5: Select your phone in the list, dont worry it will act like it doesnt know the chipset model, select SURF6300 BB from the list and say OK
Step 6: go to the MIP tab Step 7: Create a new MIP profile that looks just like this (except in the NAI and Tethered NAI, you'll enter your PV username) -- once you're done you will have two profiles, the first one im assuming is for provisioning and i wouldnt mess with it.
Step 8: click "OK" then "write to phone", it will give an error about the model changing on com X, do you want to close the connection?, say NO it will write anyway, then you will get another error about the phone not responding.. that's because it rebooted.Step 9: once the phone reboots, create a manual DUN connection (i assume if you're on here and understand how to use PST you can make a DUN connection ) with the connection as follows:
Phone number: #777 Username/password fields are blank..

View 5 Replies View RelatedI had used a handheld upgrade link only to discover this message: BlackBerry® Device Software v4.5 is not supported by your wireless service provider. Now the reason why this is complicated is because I do not know what the service provider is for the phone. I am simply attempting to restore it. I have made several attempts at wiping and factory resetting via JL_Cmder but all attempts have failed because the program cannot hold a connection with the Bold. Can someone please help?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought a BB Curve 9330 UNLOCKED. Its a Sprint phone but my carrier is T-Mobile. From my understanding, all I needed to do was put in my SIM card and I would be set. View 2 Replies View RelatedI currently have a Pearl with Tmobile. My friend gave me his Curve 8520, but his phone was with Sprint. I went to Tmobile and they said that Sprint had to unlock the phone. View 2 Replies View RelatedSo i have a sprint s6 with 5.1.1 OBE. I have flashed a kernel for root. I found a video online to make RAM more managable and it had to do with earasing some data in the files and reboot. Now my phone is stuck on a boot loop and goes into the "Sprint spark" screen for like 5 min and restarts. Rocovery mode does not work but download mode does. I was thinking of trying to update with smart switch since there is a small update or maybe re flashing the kernel but i dont think that work and the stock roms for OFE arnt online yet.
View 1 Replies View Relatedmy iPhone 4's flash light has been on for the last 24 hours! I have tried what I think is everything.
I have tried to turn it off and even let the battery sink to 0% but still (even when the phone is off) the light's still on!
If i poke on the beside the flash light it sometimes turns off but then after a few seconds it's on again.

I switched from my Nextel 8350i to the new Bold 9650 on Sprint. So they had to switch networks for me. I already had a sprint.blackberry.net email established over at Nextel - but when
I go online at the sprint.blackberry.com site to add my emails - it won't let me add this one - if I put in the info as an established email - it asks me for the server name. I talked to tech support a good 40 minutes with no help what so ever! I even looked into it like they may have canceled my email - but when I enter it as a new one it says it's taken. So anyone know how I can add my existing blackberry email account to this new phone/network?
