I just bought this phone and had it shipped. activated it and cannot figure out how to upgrade from android 2.3.4 and i've seen u.s. cellular's facebook that it can have at least 2.3.5

I can delete individual emails from my inbox. However, when I go to Trash folder there is no method to delete the Trash contents. Searching the manual gives zero information. Searching online has not been much more productive. The methods I've seen in independent forums don't work for me.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have the Motorola Electrify and about 1.5 weeks ago, I noticed the the orange triangle with exclamation and when I pulled down the notification, the only thing that it stated was "download will start in Wi-Fi. When I would access "settings / system updates" it stated an update was currently being downloaded". Like I said, 1.5 weeks and nothing changed. I had also been experiencing some slow down in the speed, and after reading the many posts on the updates and also slow downs, it was suggested that a system refresh might do the trick. Once refreshed, it was suggested to then access system updates and try to download the update again.
The refresh took care of the update being froze up, and I went back in and tried to download the update again, but to no avail. It froze it up again.I also tried a workaround that I read about by going to settings l data deliver l social applications l sync over wifi, but it still hasn't done anything. I have Wi-Fi in my house but the strength may not be strong enough.
Is it possible to adjust the touch sensitivity of the Electrify screen?

I check my google calendar which is syncing fine and see all of my past appointements, however they are gone from the phone. Additionally, even though my google calendar is scheduled out for the entire year, my phone calendar stops at December 15th, 2012.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIam a Uscc agent and I have a customer with the electrify and their phone is dying within a couple of hours and only sending a couple of text messages and making one phone call I have given a battery swap and checked the phone for any bad apps but there were no additional applications installed and settings do not seem out of place and compared it to mine that I have abd everything matches and mine lasts me an entire day of heavy use. I am just wondering if there is anything else that could be draining the battery or a way to fix it?

Needless to say, the piano app that I use.( for jotting down quick ideas, I am a music director at my church and a songwriter) is nearly unusable because piano often uses more than two fingers. I know that the hacking community has been able to enable up to 8 points if multitouch. Is this going to be enabled for this phone? I would hate to get rid of it since I love everything else about it, and have no problems at all with any functionality. ( aside from that whole pesky multitouch thing).

View 8 Replies View RelatedIs it me or does it seem that the battery graphic on the notification bar is not telling the true story? The phone (in settings) and widgets say 70% but the icon is in no way close to 3/4 full. It looks more like 90%. It always looks fuller then the battery truly is. I do understand that 70% can be anywhere between 70-79 but that's not close to what it shows on top. It's like Apple and the signal bars and how they showed higher then reality.

All I can find on this is to go through the Music app, but that doesn't see any of the ringtones from the apps. Are there certain ringtone apps that work only with the Electrify? The apps themselves don't appear to have a way to download. All I've been able to do is listen to the sound. I had a Samsung Galaxy before this and it was so easy for me to get ringtones. I'm really stumped with the Electrify.

The buttons at the bottom all light up and it looks like there is a back light that is on, (if you look at the screen from the side you can see like a back light) and the green indicator light is flashing.
