how to fix an error that keeps coming up saying "process .com motorola service main has stopped unexpectedly please try again" on my verizon droid x2 & also i have no app market when i install it it wont open on android 2.3.4 w 1.3.380 mb870 Verizon?

I'm getting the following error when trying to check corporate sync emails :"The process com.motorola.service.main has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.I've tried again and I still get an error. I've tried rebooting and I still get an error. Yahoo and Gmail are fine.I also get this error when I try to amend the settings in Accounts:"The application Email authenticator (process com.motorola.provider.authenticator) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again."There are loads of posts of this topic for all Motorola Android phones (this is the first discussion for Motorola Razr) - none of them have a decent solution!

View 15 Replies View RelatedSince getting the Atrix2 I have had no software issues or Forced Closes.This evening I woke the phone up, slid the Lock Bar to the right and here is what I get:The process com.motorola.process.system has stopped unexpectedly, Please try again,Force Close.Once I push "Force Close I can get the phone to function, however the same screen keeps coming up at random, also each time i slide the Lock Bar, I get the window or warning immediately.It happens consistently when the screen times out and you use the lock bar, slid to the right, and you instantly get the warning screen.I have also tried a few of the programs and when you access them i get the warning window. Anyone have any ideas as to what exactly is going on? No Downloads done today, just email, plume and some music.Ive done several Power Off/on cycles, It doesnt seem to want to go away?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have to take several medications during the day and use my phone alarm to remind me. My problem is that I carry my phone in my front pocket and sometimes when the alarm notice goes off, I take the phone out of my pocket and the window to turn off the alarm is no longer there. Taking the phone out of my pocket somehow removed the alarm window. I can't figure out how to turn off the alarm except to turn completely turn the whole phone off then turn it back on again (which takes a long time because it has to go through the whole boot process.
Does anyone know how to turn of a scheduled alarm when the alarm window is no longer on the screen?
I tried taking the battery out for 20 minutes and that didn't stop the phone from repeating the rebooting process over and over.

Also, I replaced the 16GB SD card with a 32GB SD card, early last week. I've only had the phone for about a month. I have been able to power the phone off and reboot and get the phone functioning again. Last night it took 2 reboots before the phone became functional again. What can I look for to determine whats causing the error?
View 8 Replies View RelatedWhen I try to access the manage applications option under settings, it shows the spinning icon stating its working and then finally the apps look like they're loaded and when I try to scroll down it is EXTREMELY slow. After scrolling for a couple of seconds, it slows down and then stops. After being frozen for about a minute,I get the infamous black popup stating: process com.android.settings has stopped unexpectedly...force close.Also, I am unable to add quick dial contacts. I can get to the screen where it show 1-9 options with Voicemail alredy being #1, but I long press the number I want to edit and then select the contact to use but when it exits back to the quick dial page the contact I just chose is not there.I have the extended battery and prior to the GB update, my battery widget was showing 4200-4230 for the mV readings. Now, it is only showing up to 4155. I put the stock battery in to check that and the same thing, it stops at 4155.

Every time restart it gives me message "Sim Card error encountered. A cellular data connection will not be possible untilyou insert a sim card power cycle the device ". I have also tried different sim and non of the work. Then tried original sim in my phone is working fine.

I was at the end of my run yesterday and stopped my run on the Motoactv. When I clicked the button to stop the run, the error popped up. When I clicked the "forced close" button, I lost my entire run. The run can no longer be seen in my recent workout list. It was disappointing to loose the data. I was not running any music when this happened. I was only using the exercise mode at the time. My software version is 1.7.2 N8. I would suggest that the watch needs an option to make incremental saves automatically every lap. That way if the watch does crash or the watch is accidentally turned off, the entire workout is not lost.

View 2 Replies View RelatedA few days ago, I updated my phone to 2.3.3. Since the update, which was successful, the celluar (3G) connection has been dropping and not reconnecting. My only resolution has been to power down/up the phone. I tried forcing the phone in/out of Airplane mode in hopes that that action would force a start of the 3G stuffs but no luck.
