View 8 Replies View RelatedUpdated and WiFi is fine but now Netflix is hosed. I had installed Netflix from the market. Now when I try to start Netflix it says a new version of the application is found and I have to update. Now I am in a loop that sends me to the market to update. Choosing update sends me to a screen where the only option is to open the app. And so the loop begins...new version must update.I cannot uninstall Netflix. Now it is unusable. Can anyone help? I have forced a stop of Netflix but it is the same loop. Open, must update, market, update, open, must update, market, update, open...Update-- I powered off/on and the Netflix update showed up correctly on the notification area. Updated and happy now. Checking the rest of the apps. Now I am back to enjoying my Xoom FE.

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe Mobile Data does not work for Me after upgrading to 2.2.2 the official update.
I have dowloaded the setting once more from the operator and I have rebooted the phone once.
The Mobile data comes for about 20 seconds when i reboot the phone and then it disappears.
once in a blue moon, i'll go to the marketplace to update my apps and instead of showing me my 80+ apps, it only shows three. it will show: Internet, streetview for google maps, and google maps. obviously my apps are still installed because when i search for a specific app that i know needed an update (ex: facebook) it shows there's an update. generally it will fix itself by either a reboot or having to unistall marketplace updates and wait for it reupdate itself.
View 4 Replies View Relatedi remembered that being a standout feature of our phone, and while at home on wi fi (i have a 15mbps up and down fiber connection) netflix is just not playing back in the same quality that it used to.before i felt like video playback was almost on par with guys running 720p screens with higher ppi's...(rezound/gnex), at least within this particular app. but now? it looks like any other Internet vid with the quality on high (which imo still isnt all that great and still not as good as going to the desktop site and watching a vid set to 720 or 1080).no other phone was ever touted as having this ability (though i'm sure the rezound and gnex can) and a lot of it had to do with the omap processor being used...is something up with ics thats not letting it happen? or was it the most recent netflix update that supports 4.1?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if there was a way to revert back to the Froyo color scheme?. I not really happy with the white background/black writing...of the lastest gingerbread colours
I'd much prefer the old black background/white writing
Is anyone else having this problem? When I try to watch a movie with Netflix I recieve :"Sorry we could not reach the Netflix service. Please try again later. If the problem persists please visit the Netflix Website (1009)"I contacted Netflix and they had no idea on how to fix it. I was unable to locate a fix with Motorola either.
View 12 Replies View RelatedWhile using Netflix i get a weird popping/crackling sound. No matter which show/movie is playing. Also, what the hell is the grill above the camera? speaker? just for looks? heat vent?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI was watching a few movies on Netflix, and randomly the movie would just pause. If I tapped the screen, it would indicate the movie was paused, and if I tap "play" it would start right up again...
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to watch movies on Netflix with my Droid Bionic. Every 45 minutes Task Manager interrupts and states that the app has been running for 45 minutes and is consuming battery resources. At this point Task Manager asks me if I want to continue running the app. I can't find any setting to disable this. Netflix is not on the "end" list for Task Manager.
View 15 Replies View RelatedWhenever I try and run Netflix when docked in the Lapdock 500 I can start and view video, but when I try and go back to my Netflix queue my phone reboots. This has happened to me everytime I have tried it. I love the lapdock and would love to reliably be able to use it to view Netflix content, but this issue makes that very difficult.

View 2 Replies View RelatedThink of buying a used Droid Eris in top condition, so that I can use a well known Verizon MVNO.
Of course I'm not trying to compare the Eris with an iPhone in terms of syncing up with a Mac .... but as far as a touch screen device, typing / touching accuracy, user interface experience .....
How does the Eris with 2.1 / 2.2 compare to the iPhone 3Gs? Since I'm going to be paying for a non-Contract phone -- the Eris is the only one I am considering.
Droid Turbo (Android Version 5.1) - WIFI works fine at home and seems to work other places. I have been using it for months at work. Recently I cannot connect. Other people can still connect. I had the connection saved...but even tried deleting it and researching, but it won't locate the server.
View 1 Replies View RelatedHave been trying for days. Talked to Motorola. Useless. Everytime I try to install, no matter who's computer I use, I always get the same error: "Failed to uninstall previous Motorola Software Update". This error occurs almost instantly when I double click on the installation file. I have tried it with the phone plugged in via USB and without. I have tried it from my desktop, and from my laptop. Same result. Motorola told me to download it to my phone. That didn't work either. It must be something to do with the phone, but I can't figure out what. The phone currently has 2.1 update 1.
View 6 Replies View RelatedEvery now and then I check to see if Netflix has ported over to the Xoom yet. Today I checked and it's in the android app store. After downloading I did a quick check and it's working on my WiFi Xoom.
View 2 Replies View RelatedAnyone else having trouble with Netlfix on the Xoom following the upgrade to Android 4.0 (ICS)? I've uninstalled and reinstalled the Netflix app from the Android Market three times and Netflix can't connect to the server.
Netflix now works with ICS after uninstalling TV Guide app.
since at&t started pushing gingrbread updates, many users have posted their issues with gingerbread. I have downloaded the updated but fortunatelly (?) have't installed it. I am perfetly hapy with my standard, non-rooted atrix with 2.2 the way it is, no bugs, no issues. However, I am also for the latest and greatest. So, before I install the update i would like to know if there is any way for downgrading back to froyo just in case GB gives me any trouble.
View 5 Replies View RelatedLet me know what they tell you. They told me it's "Impossible to downgrade to froyo."I say we pick one day and call on that day. Then they will have to agree it's a trend.

View 6 Replies View RelatedDroid-Life is reporting that Netflix 1.3 is working on Xoom 3.2.[URL]Great news for all of the Honeycomb tablets out there wishing they could have Netflix. Today Netflix updated their application to allow support for additional devices, and we sure didn't expect support for tablets. We have confirmation of it working on ASUS Transformer, Motorola XOOM, and Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

View 5 Replies View RelatedOk so after having to replace the earpiece under warranty I thought would risk another outage to my Defy. It was bought sim-free and I use my work SIM in it from Vodafone. So ran through the upgrade, and it worked first time ... until wifi. Wifi does not connect or rather from what I can determine I cannot actually obtain an IP address. For it to actually connect to the hub I have to force the settings to toggle the "Enable Auto IP" setting and manually set the channel to the same as my hub. (not had to do that with any other phone ... ) by the way, this still does not give me a data connectionAlso tried setting a static IP address and related settings and that does not work either Did a factory reset as recommended on the other pages - no avail. My hub runs WPA/WPA2 and I have a variety of devices connecting to it, trouble free, including 2 other Android 2.2 phones (HTC Desire Z and LG Optimus One), Windows XP, Windows 7, PS3 etc etc ... oh and once I had a Defy running 2.1 Eclair connecting trouble free?
