Does anyone know how to add, for example, Sugar Sync as an option on the list that comes up when you want to attach a document to an email? Sugar Sync did mysteriously appear on the list one day and I was able to attach and send a document stored on it.However, it is no longer there and I would like to add it permanently.

This happens on my RAZR M as well. Take a picture, from the gallery select it and "share" via GMail - it just sits there saying "sending" - never goes out. I've force-stopped the app, toggle airplane mode, and rebooted the phone. Sometimes it just starts working, other times not.
View 14 Replies View RelatedI'm able to pull up an old e-mail via search from my CorporateSync account, but when I try to download the attachment associated with the e-mail, I get a "failure to load attachment" pop-up and an account/connection error triangle in the notification area. I have my sync setup to keep the last 3 days. I also have a problem with forwarding e-mails w/ attachments when using the SmartForwarding feature, so I'm wondering if the issues are related.
View 2 Replies View RelatedOn my Droid Razr Maxx using Corporate Sync with the built-in email client attached to an Exchange 2010 server, when i receive an email that is digitally signed (but not encrypted) any and all attachments do not come with the email. (no paperclip symbol). I receive all other attachments fine when the email is not digitally signed.Using Verizon Wireless as carrier.if the signed email was sent to my Gmail account all attachments appear as normal.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThe Verizon Sales assistant assured me that I'd be able to Sync my Outlook with my Droid Razr as easily as I synced it with my old Blackberry Tour. Now, after several days' worth of set-up, google searches, forum searches and FAQ's, I'm come to the conclusion that Motorola did NOT build this function into the Droid Razr, and I have to pay a hefty fee for a decent 3rd-party app to do what my Blackberry did for free. Have I missed something?

View 2 Replies View Relatedi cant seem to sync my fb contacts.i entered my fb email/pass into the accounts appit said it was ok, but no contacts show up in my contacts nor do any show up in my gallery app. i tried re-entering the info, removing the acct, adding it again, rebooting my phone etc. now, it looks like there is a tiny bit of progress.. i can see "me" but that's it. in the contacts app, if i only select to display fb contacts, it just shows me and not body else. in the gallery app, if i hit menu and then hit "friends" again, it only shows me. why is this not pulling in any contacts/friends?
View 2 Replies View RelatedTapping my way through "Go to all settings" > "Accounts" > "Google". I see my gmail account shown, and under that it says "Sync is OFF". Before the update to Jellybean I could find where to turn this on and off. Further tapping on my account name I get to a screen titled "Sync" at the top-left. The options icon gives me "Sync now" and "Remove account" options. The screen is filled with a list of Google things I can sync. Tapping any of those syncs that Google thing. But, none of them are configurable.

Tried rebooting phone and deleting and adding back account. In the settings did the verify account and it says sucessful. Works for email if I use the "Email Accounts" option and not "Corporate Sync" option but I need my contacts and calander also to work.

I used an OG Droid before the Razr and never had this issue- they are deleted on the Droid when the account syncs.

View 6 Replies View RelatedFor some reason, I'm currently unable to sync my facebook events to my phone calendar. In the Settings>Accounts, my facebook account is listed. When i tap on my account and enter my username/password, I'm brought back to the list of accounts, and I can't sync either my contacts or my calendar with my phone.
I used to be able to do this on my Galaxy S and could do it for a minute on the Razr. Does anyone know what happened, and if I can re-establish the sync? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling facebook, but it didn't do anything.
When I got my phone, the Verizon rep helped move my 3000 contacts from my old phone to the new one.They are all there in the phone.But, they will not sync up into Outlook via MS Exchange.It WILL sync a newly added Contact, so sync is working between my phone and Outook.This works both directions, whether I create a new record on my phone or create the new record in Outlook.It just won't work with the ones loaded on the phone at the time of purchase.How tag all my original Contacts on my phone so they will flow up into Exchange/Outlook?

I don't think background apps are running when this occurs, but anyway I want to know if a successful sync can take place while it is enabled only when plugged in to a charger.

It came up as a sync error.I then enter my passwords for both accounts and they then restore only to immediately give me a sync error. Tried deleting the email app cache and data,no avail. Deleted and added the accounts and got the same thing. I then logged into the verizonwireless website and deleted and added them on there. Same issue.An error pops up asking me to select one of the accounts below to re-validate my account.The account name is based on an existing email address which is associated with your verizon account. It also pops up sometimes that username and password are incorrect which they aren't.

After the upgrade I still have the MAP option toggles available on Ford Sync setup screens but Sync doesn't display a new text message notification and when I tell it to download existing text messages from the phone it starts to and then displays "downloading error". I've unpaired and paired the Razr Maxx several times without success. One of the primary reasons I bought the Razr Maxx over other phones was because it supported the MAP profile.

I found Motorola PC Suite 5.1 but I haven't downloaded and tried it yet ... has anyone used this software or can anyone advise some other application that will sync Calendering, scheduling, contacts etc with Outlook and with Lotus Notes?
I need to sync outlook for work , but I'd also like to sync with Lotus Notes at home if possible (far superior to Outlook)
By the way, synchronising with google or having a gmail account is NOT an option, I do not trust these people and besides, I don't need another email account, I already have one at work and one at home.
I just recieved this phone from my wife today as an early Christmas Present. In setting it up I realized that as soon as my corporate email syncs with the device the SD card and the WiFi settings are disabled permenantly. Is there anyway I can get around this? Or is there something our IT department has to do differently to support this phone? I did not have this problem with my origninal droid.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy issues since Jelly Bean upgrade. the email client that came with my Maxx HD does not auto sync anymore, my AOL email does not sync at all even after i double check for the right password. I keep getting an error "The password and username you entered did not authenticate with your email provider." I never got this error prior to the Jelly Bean Update. I even changed my password for my aol account and entered the new password in the phone. where the hell did speed dials go.

View 3 Replies View Relatedmy email and calendar are working fine. My contacts, however, are not sync'ing. I've tried unchecking/rechecking the sync contacts option under accounts and get the same results.
We are using exchange online. I do have over 1000 contacts, could the number of contacts I have be the issue?
I keep getting Backup Assistant popping up when I want to save a contact or other things, and I want it disabled or removed and I've found no way to do that. I don't need to backup anything with Verizon or Motorola... I already do that with Google. How do I disable or remove this stuff so it's not constantly popping up or running in the background or starting up and taking up memory?
Also the Sync Service seems to be constantly there and I'm not sure what it does. It's red arrows circling a black lock and looks like another Motorola or Verizon app that I don't need that will get in the way.
