Aug 26, 2011I retired my Blackberry to get on board the smart phone train and after 2 1/2 weeks with my Atrix 4G I am barely able to use e-mail. I'm not a techie but fairly competent with a post grad education and spent over 2 hours with a true techno geek that could not find a solution that only after spending a couple hours in the local AT&T retail center with their gurus trying to determine if the phone was defective.
After reading dozens of posts on outgoing e-mail problems, there are so many different issues that I cannot believe AT&T can market this phone "for the business man" T can market this phone T can market this phone

Sep 9, 2011I can receive email just fine from my Atrix 4G phone, but I can't reply or send an email. It tries to go, but then I get a message that says it wasn't sent. I have gotten with our IT person, and all the settings seem to be right. Others aren't haveing problems sending from thier phones.

I just noticed it started yesterday. On my phone settings I don't have auto reject as an option. I have the quick responses but that is just where to edit them.

Nov 3, 2011With email, you can choose to enable automatic "reply to all" - but with texting, it aapears to be automatic that replies go to everyone who received the original text. There doesn't seem to be a way to disable this.
Does anyone know how to get the text app to only reply to the primary sender in a text message - and not to everyone on the text list of recipients? It can get very dicy with this auto-reply to all. The stock texting app and Handcent do NOT have that option, that I can find.
Motorola Droid Turbo :: Deleting Downloaded Files (PDFs)
Dec 28, 2014I've got numerous pdf's I e downloaded to view in Adobe Reader and can't seem to find them to delete them.
On my S4 I could go to my files and delete them as some of them are quite large. I tried going to downloads but they aren't there.
I also hooked up to my computer via USB and found the Adobe folder and the files but can't delete them. It pops up a "deleting" box but just sticks there on 1st one and never deletes it.

Oct 25, 2011I set up my Droid with my original gmail account, I'll call it gmail1. For various reasons I want to have 2 additional gmail accounts so I played around, created them in gmail, I'll call them gmail2 and 3. Cause I wasn't sure what I was doing I ended up with contact lists for each with slightly different info and they all got merged into my contact list on my Droid.So the net is I have a person with 2 addressess, another with 3 birthdays (all the same day, but merged from the 3 accounts. would like my Droid to only sync contacts with gmail1, but the contact list already contains the extra data. Is there a way to eliminate that extra data? I removed the contacts from gmail1 and 3 and synced them to the Droid, but all their stuff still exists in my Droid contact list.

Nov 27, 2011How to I delete apps that i have downloaded and uninstalled in the past. I had a update notification for some of the Razr apps and i see old apps that i have uninstalled when i had my Samsung Vibrant. Do they stay there indefinitely even though there uninstalled and not running?
I have like 15 updates already. Is there a way to delete Netflix? I'm guessing only the Downloaded apps that are in "Applications" can be deleted right?

Apr 27, 2012I have a Droid Razr. I love the phone. I use the email application that looks like an envelope with a "@" partially sticking out of it. It all works great, but is there SOME way to delete emails from there without it deleting them from my email server? My email is in gmail; on the desktop at home I read it through Firefox. If I delete ANY messages on the phone, even messages that have been read, they are deleted from my gmail account at home (they are in the trash). I've looked and looked and can't find a setting on the phone that would prevent this.

When I read the FAQ's, it indicated that I must go to the individual name that sent me the email, hit compose and then send. Before I reset and updated my BB software, I could reply no problem. Is there a setting I am missing someplace?

(no paperclip symbol). I receive all other attachments fine when the email is not digitally signed.Using Verizon Wireless as carrier.if the signed email was sent to my Gmail account all attachments appear as normal.

Jun 7, 2011I have a brand new, unlocked Blackberry Bold 9780 (originally a Roger's phone, now using with Fido). I was able to setup my emails to the device and can also receive emails. However, I am unable to open, reply or forward the emails. I can only get rid of the message indicator by marking the email open or deleting the message. I have done numerous hard restarts (i.e. battery pulls) and this does not correct the problem. I am using OS 6.0 Bundle 1879 which I just updated to today using desktop manager. I've scoured the web for answers and can't find one.
