Jul 6, 2010I've figured out how to quickly change from a ring tone to vibrate by holding the # key, however I still get ring tones when I get a facebook message. I can't have my phone go off all day at work so how do I put FB messages on vibrate as well?
This may be the same question, but is there one quick fix to silence absolutely everything (ring, text message, FB messages)?

Sep 22, 2011I'm talking about the mechanical "Droid" sound at bootup. There is no way to disable it, nor is it affected by the volume level. I have EVERY volume turned down and it still sounds. I have even tried the app Silent Boot with no luck.

It would be nice if you could do that with the notifications also, like text and email etc. Cause sometimes I can't just get my phone out cause I'm doing something or have my hands full and so on. When in sound setting there are check marks next to audible touch tones when using dial pad, audible selection when making screen selections, and screen lock sounds, but I don't get any sounds. Sounds work great for everything else. Volume is up.

Motorola Droid 3 :: Photos From Exchange Contacts Don't Show In Contacts App
Aug 7, 2011I assigned pics to a bunch of my contacts and was pleased to see they synced over to my Exchange account. All of my Android phones I've had since then (G1, Droid, G2, Sidekick 4) pulled those pictures down from Exchange once I set up my contact sync and showed them in Contacts, when I'd get an incoming call from that person, in the text messaging app, etc.
But, the Droid3 doesn't. I'm guessing this is because it looks like it uses a custom app for Exchange, but still, I'd like to see it fixed/added. FWIW, contact pics from my Google+ contacts do show up.

Sep 11, 2011I have noticed that I cannot switch calls if someone "clicks in." (Is that what it's called anymore?) When I hear the tone that someone is calling I look at the phone and there is a box for "switch calls." But it's grayed out and pushing it does nothing. Anyone else having this issue? Really wish this update would hurry it's butt up so I can see if stuff like this and especially the spacebar keyboard issue is just cause I got a bad phone.
