Dec 13, 2010I've just bought the E5 and I have a problem: when I look at the screen from an angle slightly to the right, it looks perfect, only a little brighter; however, when I look at the screen from an angle slightly to the left, I can read nothing on the screen, because it gets very dark. Is anyone else facing this or is there a problem with my device? Shouldn't the viewing range be symmetrical? Why my screen's viewing angle is wide from one side and extremely narrow from the other?

Jan 1, 2012Just recently my pc began having a problem recognizing my Bravo as a phone. Until then everything was fine.Now when I plug my Bravo into a USB port, I hear a chime, but no window opens.When I go to My Computer, the phone is shown as Removeable Disk (X:).When I double click on it, a small window opens with this message: "Insert Disk.Please insert a disk into drive X:." Under properties, it appears as Motorola MB520 USB Device, a disk drive.After plenty of research, I have tried changing the assigned letter of the drive twice.Every other USB device I own works just fine on my PC. The only way I can access the phone on my PC is to turn off the pc, connect the phone, power on the pc, and then the phone appears as a phone. When I connect the phone to another pc, the phone appears as it should.Some research shows this problem may be related to Acronis on my pc, but another pc with Acronis on it can recognize my phone. Could this be the result of disconnecting the phone without "preparing" the disconnect?

May 1, 2015I am having real issues with my Droid Turbo. I can pair the phone fine with bluethooth fine to Ford Sync and it plays audio fine. The steering controls work fine too until the phone locks or sleeps. I tried many different music apps and every setting in the screen and security settings. It works fine when I swipe the phone to click the button to wake it up it works fine.

Feb 17, 2012I have a single corporate email account setup (Settings/Accounts), the account syncs correctly when on 4G/3G. It also syncs correctly on Wi-Fi as long as I force the phone to stay awake (scroll on the screen/push a button every so often to keep the phone awake). However when using Wi-Fi and I hit the power button shutting the screen off putting the phone to sleep, it causes my corporate sync account to throw a "Connection Error" icon (orange triangle with exclamation point in the middle) at the top of the screen. Why do I think it is a sleeping/Wi-Fi issue? Because if on Wi-Fi and I hit the power button and wait a few seconds and hit it again turning the screen on the CE icon is there. If I force the screen to stay on (method above) I never get the error. If I switch my Razr to use 4G/3G and try the same power button on/off test method, I never get the error.
I have confirmed in my Wi-Fi settings Wi-Fi Sleep policy is set to Never and I do not have any Smart Actions turning Wi-Fi off. This seemed to have happened after the .173 update. I have also forced my phone to connect to another Access Point in my house to try and isolate this issue to an AP problem but my Razr exhibits the same behavior. Also confirmed in My Accounts|Corporate Sync|Server Settings "Verify Server" that I get "Success!" in the Verification Result Window.

Motorola Bravo :: SMS App Bug (scrolls All The Way Up)
Aug 2, 2011I've discovered a really annoying bug with the text messaging app where I'll find that it will have scrolled all the way up to the top of the thread at times which is really annoying.
I have been trying to recreate the problem and the last time it was doing it was when I came out of being locked straight to an SMS thread and it will be at the top. I could scroll all the way back down and if I angle the phone so that it switches to landscape, then back to portrait it will then go back up to the top of the thread.
Has anyone else ran into the annoying problem of ending up at the top of an SMS thread when you didn't want to?

May 29, 2011i have a brand new motorola bravo bought from att (android 2.2). when i make phone calls, i can see the call going out and it even shows 'active call'. but i cannot hear anything and also, the other person cant hear my voice. so, basically, no voice is going in and out during a phone call. same for incoming calls: i can see the call coming and when i accept, it shows 'active call' but no voice is going in and out.
music and Internet work fine. i can hear the phone ring when a call comes. so, fundamentally the phone's sound system works fine.....

Jul 31, 2011In the past week, my battery life has gone down to about 5 hours from fully charged with little to no use. I checked my battery use and it shows that Cell Standby is at 61%. Time without a signal is indicated at 50%; even though I normally have 4 to 5 bars of 3G signal stength all the time.
I uninstalled several apps including anything I added in the last couple of weeks. No change. I did recently get an aftemarket Cellit USB car charger. Is it possible that I screwed up the battery by using this car charger?
I also checked my network settings as suggested in another thread here, and my phone was already set to "GSM Auto (PRL)"; which is supposed to give much better battery life.
