Motorola Bravo :: Photo In Text Message Will Not Transmit Through Wi-Fi?
Sep 5, 2011When I first bought my phone, I was able to send, and receive, photos attached to text messages while I was connected to a Wi-Fi.However, some time back, I think it was after the Android OS was updatetd, but not sure, that feature quit working.ow, I must be connected to 3G, and not Wi-Fi in order for photos to transmit. Everything else works fine through Wi-Fi.

Jan 1, 2012Just recently my pc began having a problem recognizing my Bravo as a phone. Until then everything was fine.Now when I plug my Bravo into a USB port, I hear a chime, but no window opens.When I go to My Computer, the phone is shown as Removeable Disk (X:).When I double click on it, a small window opens with this message: "Insert Disk.Please insert a disk into drive X:." Under properties, it appears as Motorola MB520 USB Device, a disk drive.After plenty of research, I have tried changing the assigned letter of the drive twice.Every other USB device I own works just fine on my PC. The only way I can access the phone on my PC is to turn off the pc, connect the phone, power on the pc, and then the phone appears as a phone. When I connect the phone to another pc, the phone appears as it should.Some research shows this problem may be related to Acronis on my pc, but another pc with Acronis on it can recognize my phone. Could this be the result of disconnecting the phone without "preparing" the disconnect?

Feb 15, 2012When sending text messages, it seems as if I receive a message as I'm sending one, or, if I send multiple messages too quickly, one or more of my outgoing messages will fail, and I will get the message "Text Message Not Sent". If I do get the error message, the recipient may or may not receive the message. Often times I will have to Resend Message (by long pressing the failed message) multiple times for it to finally send. Afterward, I will get a message from the recipient that they got multiples of the same message from me, and I have to explain that it claimed it failed, and I just wanted to make sure they got it. Other times, they will NOT get multiple messages.
I've done a hard reset of my phone, and it made no difference, so I'm assuing that it will require some sort of update. Also, it does NOT happen in only one area (or tower), it happens regardless of my physical location, and regardless of signal strength.I can reproduce it by sending myself (creating a new message with my phone number in the TO field) multiple messages quickly. If I quickly send, say, 5 messages, each having a number (1, then 2, then 3, etc) in them, I will not get all of them. At least one will fail, often 2 or 3.

I have tried two refurb phones from ATT and a new battery, and it still does it. I even got a new SD card, thinking that maybe it was a memory issue. Jan 24, 2012So my N79 is refusing to let me send text messages on the grounds that "Text Message: Not enough memory to perform operation. Please delete some data first". So I went through and got rid of a heap of stuff - songs, videos the kinda things that are big files, and still no change.
My phone memory has 368kb free and my memory card has 3734 mb of free memory.Was working perfectly fine yesterday with more data and my phone stores about 1000 messages pretty easily, several videos, songs etc..
