When I first got my Atrix whenever I sent and email from it is had a tag at the bottom of the Email that saidSent from my Atrix now it says connected by MotoBlur.Is it possible to change this and if so how do you do it? I have looked through the phone options and cannot find it anywhere.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have always been able to delete emails on my Atrix and still be able to download them on my PC later.I'm using the standard IMAP configuration that sets itself up to AT&T automatically.I have not altered those settings.I've deleted my 2 email accounts on my Atrix and reinstalled them.I can't find any options on my Atrix that allow me to choose to leave messages on the server.On my PC, I'm using Outlook 2007.In the email account configurations, I have checked the box that says "Leave a copy of the message on server".I have uninstalled Outlook and reinstalled it. No change.I also downloaded Mozilla's Thunderbird for email, to see if it also happened using software other than Outlook.It did.
I spent 2 hours on the phone with AT&T tech support yesterday.They hacked into my PC to check all of my email settings and couldn't find a problem.They're telling me it's the phone.I"m telling them it's the server!Every once in a while, a deleted email shows up on the PC, as usual, but it's rare, and only seems to happen in one account.

I can make the change in the auto signature box, hit save, everything looks great. Except when I send messages it's still the old auto signature. If I go and click auto signature "off", the auto signature box goes away, everything looks great. Except when I send messages, the old auto signature is still being applied. I've reconciled, pulled the battery, did a quick on/off.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI loved how my old iPhone made it easy to click on phone numbers, email addresses, and links in emails, texts, web pages, etc. especially when I wanted to click on an address to show it on the map. My Atrix has never done that. Until recently I thought it was just something I had to put up with.
However, I got so frustrated I finally went looking for an answer. Now it seems that my Atrix is supposed to work the same way, so I'm wondering what the problem is with mine. It gets phone numbers and email addresses in emails, but doesn't recognize addresses.
Is there a setting I'm missing, or do I have a problem? I'm using the Gmail app for email.
I'm having a issues where my hotmail email were working fine for months no issues then on the 8 of august stopped. It was not long after I took the new UK update for my phone 4.4.20 I have not recieved any emails. I haven't changed any setting my battaries on 'Night - time saver', I have also tried forcing it to refresh it just sit there for ages getting nowhere.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI keep getting emails on my phone that are dated december 31, 1969 6:00 pm. My Yahoo account is the only one that is doing this, and it only happens on my phone (Atrix)! When I log in to my account via the pc, all emails are dated appropriately, and when I plug my phone in to the lapdock all emails are dated appropriately! What gives? If I remember correctly, this actually started happening right before I updated to gingerbread, but it might have been with the update itself. All of the Motorola forum emails are dated with the dec. 31 date as well as some of my emails from different sites I have subscribed to (outlet shopping sites like Beyond the Rack and such). Why is this happening ONLY on my phone, and not when the phone is displaying on the lapdock? How do I fix this?
View 6 Replies View RelatedWhen emailing, or more importantly replying to emails the signature is placed at the very bottom of the email string. The signature is not placed at the end of the body of the message. If this doesnt make sense to all of you let me go further - if you are sending a reply to someone, your signature will show as the last line or lines on the message instead of after your main text and before the original email.
This happened to me when I had a BB 8820 and now with the BB 9700 I am starting to notice it. What puzzles me is that it does not happen all of the time. Has anyone done any testing with different mail servers? Is RIM working on a resolution for this issue? I think that it is great that people have mentioned using auto text and so on but thats not a solution, that is a work around.
I got my atrix 2 yesterday and it was set up in Erie PA at the Best Buy and when I post things to FB or my weather widget, it says I'm in Wesleyville PA which is not too far away but far enough to make a difference. How do I change this? I've trashed the widget and now just use accuweather but the FB posts are irritating me.

On every font I have (widgets, text, email, home screen), It shows up as a cursive type. I thought when you purchase a phone it is bold normal type. change this font back to regular bold style. How do you have defualt or normal font? This cursive style is way to hard on the eyes for enjoyment.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI recently updated my Motorola Atrix 2 to the new 4.0.4 OS. Previously, I had my phone set up so that I had to enter a pin # if my phone had been asleep for 30 minutes or more. Otherwise, if less than 30 minutes, turning the phone on (from sleep) went directly to the home screen (no swiping or unlock needed). Under the new OS, I cannot seem to keep this. Now, there is a 2-step unlock process (selecting key icon, and then unlock option -- lock icon -- in order to get to main screen). The only way to avoid this annoying 2-step process (that doesn't really add any security) is to turn off all locks, but I would prefer to have some security (i.e. through pin lock after 30 minutes asleep). Anyway to disable this annoying 2-step/swype feature when turning on phone without disabling all locks? If not, is there anyway to go back to my previous OS?

I go into the contact, click edit, tell it to use an existing photo, I crop the photo how I want it, click save, it shows the new photo in the edit screen, I click save again and it defaults back to the facebook photo.

So assume I would like to associate my phone with an entirely new email account. The prior gmail account I was using is beginning to be inundated with spam and it has got to go.After searching I've found this: go to home. Click grid. Click all apps. Click email. Enter a new email, pop etc. There is no option for anything of the sort and from that point the grid button doesn't do anything. This makes very little sense.Is my phone permanently associated with that gmail account? Can I drop it and add a new account or not?

I have several music players installed, and would like to configure the phone so another is the default. Any way to do this? I've tried browsing to a music file and pressing it to bring up the "Complete action using..." dialog, but the app I want to use (PowerAMP) is not listed among the choices.
