My collegue has an HTC phone that has an option to connect to the internet under manage usb connections. My Windows 6.5 phone just connected without pressing buttons. How can I get this option up on my Atrix?I need to connect to the office internet connection via usb.
I had over half a charge after sending a text message yesterday around 3pm. I looked at the phone at 4:30 and the screen was black and the device doesn't respond. I removed the battery and put it back to no avail. If I plug it in, the green light comes on - the Motorola splash screen displays - then a battery meter displays.
This happened to me but when I connect to itunes I get this message! "iTunes could not connect to the iPhone because it is locked with a passcode. You must enter your passcode on the iPhone before it can be used with iTunes." So what now?
My blackberry bold 9700 went blank. I try to reload the os software but the process wouldn't go pass device initialization. An error message appear after saying computer not able to reconnect to device during multi-stage operation.
I bought a Atrix 2 from Moto online shop without subsidy, it's locked to AT&T network. I'm planning a long trip abroad, and would like to unlock the phone to use other carriers SIM card. But where can I get the unlock code or how to unlock the phone?
I just used my cellphone normaly like a heavy data user, for some reason when i browse many flash pages or watch some flash movies on the web or the stock player the phone gets realy hot, not only on the back but in the display screen too, and is not the ambient temp. Because im always most of the time on fresh places.
I put my iphone 4 into deactivated mode without removing the passcode first. When I connect to itune, itune complains about the passcode. However, on the iphone 4, only emergy call mode is available. There is nowhere I can input the passcode.
I have a couple of questions about ZumoCast. Does it work with the Atrix? I've poked around and read that an earlier version of the app (1.0.17) does, but the current version (1.0.25) does not. If this is the case, are there any plans for it to be supported in the near future? Also, why would an earlier version work with the Atrix, but not a more recent one?
I've been having a lot of trouble getting this done, and it's quite frustrating. I want to stream music from my computer to my Atrix phone so I can listen to my computer music library anywhere. That's all. All Motocast USB lets me do is sync my music to the SD card, which I DON'T want to do.
I was wondering, what type of music player is on Atrix2? Is it considered a Basic Player? Does it support any "Advanced" features, Does it Support the same various types as Original Atrix (Support of various MP3, MP4 Itunes ect) and can anyone suggest or recommend a good "Advanced Player" App as well.
When going to a baseball game my phone loses it's signal, however, the Diamondbacks offer AT&T hotspots throughout the building. I have AT&T service so you would think this is a no brainer, my son who has Sprint gets on with no problem, my husband with Verizon has no problem, (both have Android phones), my daughter with A&T service and an iPhone has no problems, however when I go on, it searches for awhile and then I get the following error message and it shuts off my wifi
AT&T Wi-FI Hot Spot Status Unable to confirm eligibility, please call Customer ---and then it fades away, if you click on the error message it completely disappears and there is no phone number to call. This is my second phone because of this issue and it isn't fixed. I would like to be able to use my phone to use MLB at the Ballpark but it's like taking a brick to the ballpark.
I can't seem to connect my new Atrix 2 to my Macbook Pro at all.. not even through USB. I am not able to receive an item nor am I able to connect successfully through USB. At first, I just connected my phone through USB and it popped up to install a link but it was only an ".exe" file. I than downloaded Motorola Media Link and there is no connection link. I am on a Macbook Pro 10.6.8 and I have searched through the forum as well but nothing really specific on my issue. I have restarted my Mac and my Atrix 2 but to no avail.
Since I updated to the Gingerbread operating system the phone does not recognize the USB to charge and the pc is telling me that it cannot recognize the device either. I have tried to update drivers, but that has not worked.
After the battery died, the phone would flash on the Motoblur screen for a few seconds. Eventually (after more than 12 hours of the flashing on and off screen) it did charge up, but I don't know how to keep it charged and I cannot connect or sync with the computer. It is not the cable, as I have the same issue with the car charger connected.
I was able to do a External Reset, but it still has the same issue. AT&T doesn't know anything about it and has offered no solution. What should I do? Everything was working fine before the update. Is there any way to restore the old operating system?
one change i noticed on the gingerbread was that i now have limited ability to edit contacts. here's the situation:
I got a new number of a person who was already a facebook contact (because of motoblur syncing my facebook to my contacts). But i go to the contact and select edit so i can add the phone number and the phone says "facebook contact information is not editable on this device." i really dont know what to do.
When I long press a song in my music library, window open with these 4 options :Play, Add to playlist, Set as ringtone, Delete. My question is that How should I transfer any song to another device which is connected to my phone through blue tooth.I tried a lot but did not find any option to trnsfer song through blue tooth to another device.
I can't seem to get my phone to communicate with Moto Cast USB. I use Zumocast for wireless, but I wanted to use Moto Cast to sync my music and videos over USB. When I plug the USB in everything starts up automatically. A screen pops up and tells me its preparing my device, then another screen pops up telling me to wait while it loads content. However, this second screen has a large yellow triangle with an exclamation in it and lists things to try if you are having connection issues. I have tried every USB option I have on the phone, it seems to force the connection back to USB mass storage, so I assume that is where it needs to be.
Just purchased Atrix 2 and I cannot connect to internet using wifi. It scans, connects and immediately disconnects.I have followed the instruction re: forget and reconnect. I have my passwords correct. I have a tablet and iphone that connects to the Netgear N600 without any issues.
I've had my Atrix for a couple of months now and I noticed this problem back within the first 30 days but thought it was an issue with our network at work..ie the wrong password. After getting our tech guys to set the right password I have tried to connect to the WiFi at work but it gets to the point of obtaining an IP address and disconnects. I know the password is right because my co workers newish laptop will connect and another coworkers Iphone 3GS will connect.
My Atrix will connect at home, Applebees guest and the local hospitals guest connection. The work connection is secured with WPA/WPA2 PSK according to my phone. It's a small work place and really the only person that would every use the connection would be me and honestly I'm a little peeved that I can't get it to connect. The routers are probably about 3 years old so I'm not sure what that would have on them but they should work just fine with this phone. I can't really log into the routers and change anything there because of some other things that are networked into the system. Are there any setting I can change in my phone that might force it to work?
When I got my Atrix 2 days ago, I brought it home and connected to my home wifi with no problem. Downoaded the 1st of 2 updates/upgrades and after installing it, I was no longer able to connect to it. "Obtaining IP address" was all it displayed until disabling it and connecting to one of my neighbour's unsecured, poor signal, on and off connection.I've tried the tech people at Bell Mobiity and even my internet provider and they are clueless.Everything else in the house connects without issue, including my old blackberry bold 9000, xbox, 3 laptops, tv, etc. Just not my Atrix.I've rebooted the router several times, renewed WAN settings, switched to static ip. I've also pulled the battery for 2+ minutes, rebooted the phone, told it to forget, then re-entered the password to try to reconnect. Nothing.I also don't have any issue connecting to other wifi networks. Just the one in my house.
I purchased a Atrix2 sometime back but just recently was looking to connect it to my PC to download some stuff onto the phone. When I connect my phone to the PC (windows 7 64 bit), the PC is not able to install the required drivers for my motorola phone. It fails with an error that says failed to install something called "ADB" drivers. I've tried installing the drivers from the page below to no effect :http://www.motorola.com/Support/US-EN/SupportHomepage/Software_and_Drivers/USB-and-PC-Charging-DriversAlso if I put my phone in the "Charge only" mode, on the phone I see the "lighting" icon continously coming and going on the battery icon in the notification bar at the top of the phone.
