Today I noticed that the Invert colors toggle appeared in my quick settings. I don't think I accidentally pressed anything. I removed it by setting the date back and month then toggling and untoggling it. Lastly I set the date back to automatic. Is it a 5.0 bug?

i picked up my phone to find a enterprise activation icon had appeared on my menu, I hadnt performed a reset or even turned it off, when i select the icon it is a white screen that appears..what is this and how has it just appeared? my phone seems to working as normal just now, what should i do with it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo I understand Priority Notifications is the new 'silent' mode but I can't get it working so that it has the same functionality as older Android versions.
I've set all priority notifications (events / calls / messages) off and choose to turn on priority notifications indefinitely but each day it reverts back to 'all' so I have to remember to turn it on every day.
Also, when in an app (e.g WhatsApp) and a new message comes through, it still makes a noise even though it's in priority notifications mode!
Pre-Lollipop, I was able to have a different ringtone for each contact. This was set in the 'Contacts' app. I can't seem to see how to do this in Lollipop.

So basically anybody can read my messages because hangouts will just automatically log me in. How the hell do you stop it from automatically signing you in? Can't find anything in settings and I've tried going into apps and deleting the hangouts cache and hangouts data. But it still signs me straight back in. It won't even let me delete the app either.

This option, however, doesn't seem to be enabled by default for the Moto X (the option doesn't even appear). It would seem a foregone conclusion though that this option could work for the Moto X.
View 16 Replies View RelatedSo my Moto X (2014) has been a little slow lately. I decided that I'd try and clear the cache for the first time seeing as how I've encountered that recommendation several times here on the site. I've never done it, even after upgrading to 5.0.
Today I tried it and it just got stuck on "Formatting /cache..." for about 10 minutes before I decided just to reboot and try again. I've cleared cache on several other devices before and it's usually very very quick. After a reboot, same thing with the exception of these error messages:
I gave up and just booted into the OS. The phone is working ok but I don't think my cache is cleared. I have a 32GB Pure Edition. No root or custom ROMs or anything.
My phone longer notifies me when I receive a text. I haven't changed anything on it.

I checked my Moto Assist options and it is in fact enabled, however I was still unable to wave the call off. I did several test calls and still cannot get the wave to silence to work. View 1 Replies View RelatedThis phone (stock, non rooted) was working with BT fine under 5.01and Kit Kat before it for mostly calls. I know it is the phone because I have tested it now in three different cars, my 2014 Prius, a new Chrysler and Ford. It exhibits the same behavior. Pairing is not a problem. If the screen in on when I enter the car the connection is made. When the screen dims (sleeps) the connection drops shortly thereafter. If I swipe and get the screen back on I can manually re-connect through the car's radio. If I enter the car with the phone in my holster, likely asleep, it will not connect.
Keeping the screen from sleeping appears to "remedy" this issue but that is hardly an option in terms of battery life. Normally I keep the phone in a holster and never had this issue. I have tried every remedy on the Internet. I am using safe lock and have the radio as a trusted device. I have removed safe lock and the same issue ensues. I have unpaired, cleared cache, re-paired etc.
Last night I hooked up the phone to my Garmin Nuvi via BT. No disconnect issues.
