I can't be the only one! Does your phone go off (active moto voice) randomly throughout the day, when you don't say your launch phrase? I sometimes I am in my car listening to music or out and about talking to other people when randomly moto voice activates itself. Sometimes I replay a song to see it it happens again and it doesn't. The worst part is, my phrase is "powers activate."
View 7 RepliesRecently I've been seeing that when I have my phone charging, whether it be on a portable charger or a wall charger and is just sitting there with nothing downloading, it randomly reboots. I feel the phone vibrate and when I look at my phone I see the initial boot motorola M. Not sure what can be causing this.

Here's and example of such a text:
"ԀȂ it before lol. How do I switch?"
I know for sure there was a full sentence before the "it" (saw it on the sender's phone), and that didn't include any weird character/emoji.
My phone's a Moto X 2nd gen (bought on november 2014) running Android 5.0 (lollipop). My carrier's T-Mobile.
For the last several weeks streaming music has been randomly stopping during playback. Sometimes it will go several songs without a problem and sometimes it will stop multiple times during one song. It occurs with downloaded songs as well. The phone is rooted but has the stock recovery.

If I have my volume for ringer/notifications set to vibrate and then I access Moto Voice (e.g OK Moto X, what is the weather?) for some reason the volume on ringer/notifications is increased to close to 70% of max. I can actually "see" it happen if I press the volume rocker down to vibrate and then initiate a Moto Voice command. (I am talking about the window that shows up at the top of the phone when you change volumes - I can see it change from vibrate to 70% of max).

It would get to the part that would confirm my post and ask if I wanted to post I would say "Yes" than it would "Posting Status Update" than "Something went wrong please try again". View 4 Replies View RelatedSo I understand Priority Notifications is the new 'silent' mode but I can't get it working so that it has the same functionality as older Android versions.
I've set all priority notifications (events / calls / messages) off and choose to turn on priority notifications indefinitely but each day it reverts back to 'all' so I have to remember to turn it on every day.
Also, when in an app (e.g WhatsApp) and a new message comes through, it still makes a noise even though it's in priority notifications mode!
Pre-Lollipop, I was able to have a different ringtone for each contact. This was set in the 'Contacts' app. I can't seem to see how to do this in Lollipop.

So basically anybody can read my messages because hangouts will just automatically log me in. How the hell do you stop it from automatically signing you in? Can't find anything in settings and I've tried going into apps and deleting the hangouts cache and hangouts data. But it still signs me straight back in. It won't even let me delete the app either.
