Phone just won't detect any networks. It's the endless dots and that's it. In fact, the switcher is greyed out now so I can't even turn it off. I restarted the phone and still the same.
View 6 RepliesI bought my iPhone last week from a friend, and took it to the AT&T store and it connected to the wifi there. When I brought it home it didn't even detect my network unless I was standing right next to my dad's computer, which is above our router. It will connect in any other area with wifi, just not at home. I have tried restoring it from a recent back up, and as a new phone. I have turned it on and off, I have tried resetting the network settings. Nothing works. I don't the taking it to the genius bar would be much help because my phone is out of warranty and I don't want to pay $200.00.

My iPhone's Wi-Fi suddenly stopped detecting/locating any networks. When I go to Settings-->Wi-Fi, all I see is the "Choose a Network..." spinning wheel and no networks are detected despite the fact that I have my own Wi-Fi network at home and there are additional neighbor's Wi-Fi networks. My MacBook Pro and a MacBook in my home are able to locate and connect to my home Wi-Fi network. Troubleshooting steps: I have restarted the router, I have reset the network settings, and have restored the iPhone from backup; however, the problem persists.

i just bought Lumia 950XL. unfortunately, my device unable to detect my micro sd card. I have tried several other micro sd card that working well from other devices, but the result still the same. I have tried reformating the device, start the device without sim card, the outcome remain the same.

View 3 Replies View RelatedYesterday, I went running with my Lumia 1020 listening to music and using the Runtastic app. The music stopped - I looked at the phone - it was turned off. I tried powering on, but to no avail. I should also mention that upon leaving, the battery was fully charged and this happened after some 20 minutes. When I came home, I immediately put the phone on the wall charger and expected it to power on after a while. I checked it after 3 hours and nothing, the phone was still stone-dead and what was even more worrying, completely cold - no heat-up from charging.
I tried connecting it to my PC - the computer didn't even recognize ANY device was connected to it. Just to be sure, I tried Nokia Software Recovery Tool, but sure enough, it was not able to detect the phone. The phone seems to be dead meat now, but when I put it on my desk wireless charging stand, the stand's indicator lights up, although the phone does nothing and stays that way.
Tried for what seems like over a week. Upgrade tries but always stops and reboots to 8.1. What, if anything can I do to get it to load?

Once it happened not five minutes into the trip, the other times were over an hour in. How to correct it?
How do I shut down the here drive app? I am shutting off my location to close it noe, but I know there has to be another way...
New to the icon. Got it on Thursday. Promptly loaded 8.1 developer and ran all the updates. I'm not blown away, but it's nice, I'm not running back to my G2 yet. However I went up north yesterday and as soon as I lost 4g I lost all data. No MMS pics coming through and no weather, Internet.... Made crystal clear phone calls and texts went through, but no data. Played with the network settings but could never get it to go. Others with Verizon, at&t, and cellcom carriers had no issues. HTC, iPhones, motos, none had issues.
So is there an issue with 8.1 developer? Bad phone? Recommended settings for data all the time? I have data roaming options set to roam. Tried GSM and the CDMA settings under the sim card and no changes. Tried rebooting the phone between changes and no luck.
I could of sworn before upgrading to 8.1 DP that I could toggle off LTE in settings. On 8.0 can confirm if have it on their Icon?

I was a little unsure at first and nervous but when I opened that thing up it was amazing. So about two hours into playing with it I wanted to try my hand at putting music on it. So I plugged it into my computer, nothing, I read everything online about how to do it, and so I kept trying the computer and still nothing. Ehhh I'll figure it out later. I go to charge it at night, nothing. So to make a longer story a little shorter, I took it back to Verizon to get a new one not even 24 hours after I got it. Now I'm super nervous about having an Icon, but so far this is day 3 and I'm loving it. I have all my music on it but I wanted to know if there was anyway to back up the music I have to my computer or is that just something I need to use SkyDrive for?
