I accidentally activated my voice command option on my phone and it does not allow me to scroll left right up down nothing. I have to search double tapping everytime, swipe type is disables and i am not able to go to my setting and undo as i am not able to scroll nor select anything.

Ever since I got my 1020 a few weeks ago, there has been a problem where it will start ghost clicking/switching menus on its own. This can happen for several seconds or sometimes won't stop until you power the screen off. Sometimes it will get to the phone menu and call people on its own which is a big problem. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to it and happens several times a day.
I bought the phone 'like new', so there is no warranty obviously. I don't think it had ever been used before however because there were zero marks/scratches and it was totally spotless when I received it, so it can't be misuse from the previous owner.
Is there anyway to turn speech command off that prevent it from activating all together? If not, is there a way to get rid of that pop up screen every time it activates by accident?

Something odd is that when I plugged the wall charger in the camera grip, it didn't respond. When i was on WP8, i had issues with voice recording in whats app, the output on it is noise.
Having issues with call quality on the 1020? I picked mine up yesterday. When I call some people they say I am coming in crystal clear, others say I am fading in and out. On my end, I get a weird feedback/static at end of people's words/sentences and it seems to be picking up background noise over the person's words. Very frustrating because there is NOTHING else wrong with this phone.
View 12 Replies View RelatedHer phone was perfect before doing the updates. Now, she claims the BT just turns off and won't turn back on (in the car, connected to the car audio system). I looked at her phone the other day and sure enough, BT and WIFI were both OFF, and when I tried to turn them on, it said something like "Sorry, can't to that right now. Try again later.". Turned off phone and turned back on, and it's fine...for a while, then does the same thing.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an N97 and every day now the screen will stop responding to touch input. I think this is a hardware issue as I have always updated the firmware as soon as its released and I have the same problem no matter the firmware. Resetting and turning off/on again doesn't solve it. Just have to lock the screen and rub my thumb over the entire screen and it seems to start working again. Could part of the touch screen be getting stuck down?

I've had my phone since black friday, and just yesterday started having a strange problem with it. It was in my pocket and it vibrated once so I checked what it was and it said "MTP initialization" at the top and "Charging" at the bottom, which is what it does when I plug it into my computer or charge it. It seemed weird to me because it definitely wasn't plugged into anything at all, it was in my pocket. When I got home, I plugged it into the charger for about 2 hours.then when I unplugged it, it did the same thing, but it kept doing it. It'd look like I plugged it into my computer when I didn't, and then a few seconds later the "charging" and everything would go away and it would say "Running Media Scanner" which is what it says whenever I unplug it from the computer. Since that time yesterday, it has literally been doing this every few seconds, cycling between thinking it's plugged into a computer and then being unplugged.In addition, for a while yesterday, the Voice Command kept opening and closing on it's own, not sure why. It seems to have stopped doing that now, but it keeps doing the charging/media scanning thing. I can actually use it when it's doing this thing, it just keeps vibrating every few seconds which gets annoying, and slows the phone down a little bit. But when the voice command thing kept opening and closing every few seconds, it was almost unusable because every time I'd try to do something, it'd cut out and go to the voice command.

I asked the sales rep which one would work well with the iPhone, and he didn't seem to ahve any preference and said anything should work. Well, unfortunately, it doesn't work with the iPhone's voicedial. When you press the button on the headset, it doesn't do anything unless you're answering a call. And I know it has nothing to do with being a cheap headset because I have a really cheap Southwing, probably cheaper than the Plantronics, that I got someplace for my old phone, and that works great. Can anyone recommend a ~$40 headset that works?
