View 3 RepliesI tested the call blocking feature today and noticed that it forwarded the call to voice mail. Is there any option somewhere to have it drop the call instead? I had this in my Captivate but not on my S3, had to use the Mr. Number app. Would be nice to have because if I go through the trouble of blocking a number, I don't want them leaving a message either. It's mostly telemarketers that I block and the messages they leave are usually dead air...

It happen to my friend Lumia 1020 as well but maybe 2 times and 1 year old as well. I am on 2G 99% of the time, can't figure out what is the problem.

Calls on my phone drop almost certainly when I'm on 2G network. When on 3G this rarely ( or almost never) happens.
Same sim card works very well in other phones. This is issue is just on 2G network. I do not get 3G network every where so i cannot ignore this issue.
Nokia care unit says this phone might have hardware issue and quoting about same amount of repairs of cost of new phone. They claim this needs to be sent to factory for repairs.( this phone is out of warranty in region where I am using it).
I've noticed recently that my call volume has dropped pretty significantly. I now have to press my 1020 hard against my ear to hear people clearly.

Only thing I see is "call waiting" no other option.
Having issues with call quality on the 1020? I picked mine up yesterday. When I call some people they say I am coming in crystal clear, others say I am fading in and out. On my end, I get a weird feedback/static at end of people's words/sentences and it seems to be picking up background noise over the person's words. Very frustrating because there is NOTHING else wrong with this phone.

This is not the case when I receive and incoming call and during the call I receive another incoming call (call waiting) the caller id works just fine.
Already tried Hard and Soft Resets.
The notification sound (when an email/sms/calendar pushes) during a call is so annoying and uncomfortable (there will be a weird sound in the earphone and then the normal notification sound, too distracting). Is it possible to disable that weird sound?

I hit yes and says no app available and takes me back to the post. When I install the App from the app store, it's free, it appears to install, but cant access it.

To achieve this I guess I need to select the filters Friends & Colleagues and leave the Family filter unchecked. But the problem is, if a filter is selected and I try to select a second filter, the previously selected filter gets un-selected. It lets me select only one filter at any point in time.Is there a way to select two or more filters? If so, please let me know how to do that.

View 1 Replies View RelatedLately, I've been getting a fair number of corrupted DNG files in my Lumia 1020 - I mean, I guess they're corrupted, since when I import them to Lightroom, the program states it can't open or edit them.
Curiously, the 5 mpx are fine.. When I check the size of the DNGs, I can see that they have, exactly, 1 byte less, in size, than the DNGs that Lightroom can edit.
On my N8 and 808 I would just hold down the slide unlock. I did some searches but can't find out how to do it on the 1020. Do i need to get an app?
