I have a VX5500 (verizon inpulse branded) that I'm using on Page Plus PAYG. I already reset the SPC back to 000000, but can't figure out how to activate the 2nd NAM onto Verizon InPulse.Also, I'm looking to do this without connecting to my PC (bought a new one, don't have all my programs, and my old one is too slow to do anything on).
View 10 RepliesI have the Verizon iPhone 4s. i didn't have the passcode to my phone so i had to wipe it, then restore it from a previous backup. So far everything has carried through alright but I'm [inevitably] having problems with the phone activating. The phone knows its phone number but it won't roam because it hasn't been successfully activated under verizons networks. I am going to be in the UK for quite a while. The phone isn't able to connect to verizon towers from here, and it continues to say "searching..." and "no service" in the corner but it knows its not in america because the overseas carrier option has appeared in the settings? is there anything i can do? could i call verizon and they acti vate the phone from there?

I would like to know how - I am sending these phones to my folks, and just by pressing up on them, it connects to the web. Verizon wants to disable it for me but that removes text message abilities. So........I can't do that!I am adept at Bitpim and other methods of phone programming, except I am new to these phones.
I honestly wanted to get them e815's, but Ebay has not had any new ones for Verizon in a while, so LG5500's were bought. Eventually they will be replaced by e815's. Why can't they just make phones with antennas anymore? The field mode said the phone had -105db.
Have Bitpim installed, finds phone on usb, finds info. When I click ok shows error. Bitpim closes. What do I need to do?

View 7 Replies View RelatedOk so I bought an env2 off a guy on craigslist. I dropped my old one in a puddle but I really loved my env 2 so I bought a used one from someone on craigslist. When I went to activate it I discovered it was on revol's network, I dont live in the city hence I can get coverage on revol. Still says verizon all over it when you turn it on and off. I am not very savvy with cell phones but I am with a computer. I took it to the verizon store and they tried to put new firmware on it but it didnt work. I have a tough time beleiving that it can go from verizons network to revols but not back, if anyone has a way that I can flash the phone back to verizon.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis is for my father-in-law's phone. He has just basic service, so no text or data plan. Bitpim doesn't appear to support it and I cannot find a USB driver for it. The phone does not currently have Kies installed (I don't even know if it is supported on this phone). And he can't install new applications because he has no data plan. Is he pretty much out of luck or is there some alternate way of doing this that I haven't discovered yet?

I know the Verizon LG ENV(1) has it as well. Access "my account" via mobile internet. It shows your account balance and your feature options, prepay options, ECT. and select "menu" and "search" there is your free internet.
Oh, and I know how to turn ANY contracted, even if severely in debted cell service into a prepay *22888 and follow their directions. If anyone could help me with my service menu on the LG chocolate and teach me neat tricks and tips.

I have had the BB9630 Tour for about 6 weeks. I have never been able to do a 3-way call. I have contacted tech support and they don't have an explanation. I tried my wife's 9630- same thing. Is anyone else able t make a 3-way call on Verizon. They said a wire could be loose somewher in the network causing the issue, but they have offered no solution.
