Aug 13, 2010Rumour 2 ringtones? I hated all the ringtones that are preset in the phone but now that i gotten so use to it, i like my current ringtone. planning on switching phones but i want to keep the ringtone. Is there anyway to save the ringtone and transfer it to a different phone?

Mar 6, 2010My cell phone is an LG Rumour 2 or an LG 265. I bought a nexxtech 8 GB Micro-SD card with an SD-to-Micro-SD adapter from The Source....Canada's Radio Shack. Using the Micro-SD to SD adapter, the card won't read in my PC, even though regular SD cards work find. The card is recognized by my cell phone and can see three folders, DCIM, MUSIC and BLUETOOTH, and I've taken and saved one picture on the card.
I bought a micro-USB cable to connect to my PC but when I connect the LG Rumour 2 to the PC, the PC does not recognize it. What software do I need to install on the phone and/or on my PC in order to connect the cell-phone to the PC and download MP3 files to it? I have visited the LG website and I'll download the software there, but it's not clear what software I need to use to do what I want to do.My phone version information is:

Jul 3, 2012Is text messaging. If I try to send an outgoing text at the same time that one is incoming it will not send the outgoing message. It will struggle for about 30 seconds to 1 minute (or even more) and eventually time out with a 'text was not sent' error message. For someone like me who sends thousands of texts a month it's the most annoying thing ever! Other phones do not have this problem.
Also the time stamp for texts does not work if the phone is powered off. For example: I turn my phone off at midnight and someone sends me a text at 1:00 AM. I turn my phone back on at 8AM. The text arrives but does not have the correct time stamp as being sent at 1:00 AM. It will be shown as 8AM. So I have no idea what time the message was actually sent. Once again other phones I have used did not have this problem.

May 24, 2011when I make a call it immediately says "call ended/closed" and when I enter *110# I get this message: Connections problems or invalid MMI-code.When I restart my phone, maybe repeting that process like 10 times then I can send/recieve calls/texts, but only for a brief moment.Before it wasn't as bad... I always got the Connection problem message after a I've made a phone call. But now it is bugging me 24/7.I have resetted my phone, I've even upgraded it. Mainly as they will form part of a court case later on and they are 'evidence'....Ideally, I would like to store them on my PC, but I don't think this can be done?Unfortunately they are stored on the phone itself and I cant seem to copy them to the SIM, and besides, the new phone uses the mini-sims anyway.

May 15, 2011Today my Blackberry Curve 8310 deleted all of my received text messages. It also did this (deleted the all of the received messages) about 2 days ago. I don't know why or what keeps happening. I will go to look at a text message and they will all be gone. Only the incoming texts are deleted, the outgoing/sent ones always remain and so do emails. I have lost a ton of important, irreplaceable texts (including those which had pictures attached). This keeps occurring for no apparent reason. When this happens I hadn't turned my phone off or taken the battery out.
I have my setting as follows under Inbox: Options; General Options: Keep Message Forever.

I can send them, and people recieve them, but when people text me, I don't get their texts.I have put my sim card into another phone, and have been able to recieve texts perfectly.HOWEVER. I have resolved this issue once, I was reccomended to do a factory reset on my phone. I did it, and I was receiving texts again.But, after a while, I stopped receiving texts.I don't want to have to do a factory reset again and again, since reinstalling all the apps is a pain.
