Grey transparent squares started to appear on G4 screen. They change in intensity after using any app and nearly fade away if phone switched off for a second, after appear again. They are not seen on print screen (two photos attached - printscreen without any problems and photo of phone screen).
So I recently got the LG G4, and i really like it so far, but whenever i get a notification and i tap it on my lock screen it says swipe to unlock and at the bottom there is a big grey box.
I'm new to the Android world as I switch from iPhone 5 to this new LG G3 that is 5 days old. Last week I downloaded some apps from play store everything was good. Then I removed some factory Apps that I will never use and all of sudden Play Store stop working. It was loading properly but when you hit the install, it would just spin and spin. So talking to the place I got it we did a factory reset and everything was fine again. I installed a bunch of apps and everything was ok.
Yesterday I only remove 1 app and right after I did that I tested Play store and it worked fine. Later at night I tried to install another app and it said that it finished downloading and it would install later. That never happen and now I'm getting a just a grey screen when Play store opens.
I love my new phone except for this Play store issues. I know I could restore again but seriously I don't want to consistently do that over and over. Plus I have to download all my app as again and configure them.
I was talking face time, and my screen went gray and is now locked in that position. None of the buttons work. The phone has been plugged into the charger for the last twenty minutes. Nothing works.
Right now my Xperia Play screen is messed up screen. It started today when sliding the gamepad would freeze the system. Now, the screen is making this grey screen (pictures below) and freezes. Sliding out the gamepad and sliding it in seems to unfreeze it for a few seconds sometimes. Though, mostly, there's this. Is there any way I can maybe completely wipe my phone and reinstall Android? I have already flashed it a few times. Or is this a hardware issue and will I have to go to AT&T to see if I'm able to get a new phone?
I'm new to Blackberry and have the 9800. When I receive a new message (sms or mms) from a specific contact, the message shows in my text message folder (along with others I've received and am able to open and see), but when I open it to read the full message, it just shows the grey screen and all previous messages also doesn't show.I've deleted the entire conversation and would be able to read 1 or 2 new messages afterwards and then at some point when I receive or send a new message, everything will dissappear again.I've removed the battery, marked all as unopened, changed options settings such as combine sequintial, autoscale images, leave messages on sim, etc. but nothing works.
For the first time since the v50 update I tried to use BBC iplayer (on 5800), which now seems to work - through native browser now, even though the widget is separate. Accessing archived stuff worked fine, but when I tried to use it for live streaming I got the sound but the screen stayed grey (I was on wifi at the time). Is this the BBC still preventing access (as they used to) or is there another issue here?
Unlocked blackberry bold 9700 (v5.0.0.405, Platform 5.1.0.112) I've had for about 9 months now. Tried to connect to wifi in an airport without success and deletetd the profile. I've never used the wifi before and don't plan on using it again. Now I can't get rid of the inactive grey wifi icon on my homescreen, and occasionally I find my phone connected to AT&T public wifi in random places. I've tried restoring default wifi settings to no avail.
The blackberry curve 3g which i purchased only a week back has started giving me a strange problem/ Atleast 7-8 times a day on its own the screen of the device starts flickering and fades away with a grey/white band at the bottom as can be seen from the pick. It has never been dropped/drenched.
I have a s2. About a month ago it started showing horizontal grey lines across the bottom of the screen. If I turn it off/on then they sometimes disappear completely and sometimes worse than before I turned it off. Following other posts on the net, tried turning my brightness up and if I turn it up all the way the lines never appear. The only problem is that I can't use the phone at this level of brightness. would be grateful if someone could post a fix. I kinda remember reading about screen tests you can do on the phone itself but can't find it again. Maybe if I could re-calibrate the screen that would fix it?
My iPhone 5 was working fine until I put it on the charger then the display turned from my background to grey/black/white bars running vertially across my screen. I have held down the home and power button to reset the phone and still nothing. The phone will not go to sleep or respond in any way (including the silent button). I have had people call my phone and again, will not respond.Â
I have new iphone 5s, some time it shut down it self, the screen color changes to blue or gray with no response of the phone and the end shut down completely.
I recently updated my old iPhone4 to iOS 7.1.2 and Garage band 2.0.1. Now, garage band will not start. It's stuck forever on the grey screen with the "Garage Band" title and nothing else. And after half a minute it backgrounds itself.Â
With iOS6 and the old Garage Band the phone worked just fine.
I can understand if it went slowly, had less tracks, etc. but this is not acceptable.Â
I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 (sm-g900f). Sometimes the screen just freeze, and grey lines appears (as in this picture goo.gl/qIdGg7 ).
The main button and the power still working, as I can see the white light turning on and off as usual after pressing them. And after click the power button once (which turn off the display), the screen remains black.
The phone is actually still working, as I can ear it ringing or receiving messages and email.
But I cant do anything, just take off the battery and restart it. I already reset it and the problem keeps happen again.
My Iphone was fine as I was texting my friend and then all of a sudden the screen went grey with a faint white line across the top quarter on it. If found out I could fix it by resetting the phone which I did. After this, the screen came on and all 4 corners of the screen started flashing and I've tried switching it off and also resetting it. none of this worked! I
i have an envelope appeearing on my screen on my e63 and it always says delete some data from phone memory or not enough memory to recieve messages. any tips to make this dissappear?
I have a Blackberry Bold 9700, just over two years old. Thin lines are beginning to appear across the screen, mainly horizonta. ones. Can I do something to fix them? Or is this the beginning of the end?
To all i have an icon on my home screen of my bb tour 9630 and i don't know at all what it is or what does it mean at all . It's on the right top of my home screen under the signal icon and it's like a circle with the plus sign on it .
I have a blackberry 9780 6.0 bundle 2921 Platform 6.6.0241
Keep getting a white screen when I leave the phone for a bit, to get rid of it i can hit the lock/unlock button, somedays that doesnt work i have to pop the battery out. It started off with this problem happening once a week, about ten times a day. I take really good care of my phone, always keep it in a case. No water damage or anything.
I have the Blackberry Curve 9300, v5.0.0.846, bundle 1440, platform 6.3.0.39, and I noticed on BBM and on Twitter and such, that when people post some symbols or small different lettering and such, they show up as small black squares instead of what they actually posted. A friend of mine put in their BBM name "love" in a different type lettering, but all I could see was 4 small black squares. It wasn't until I looked at my friends phone, who has a bold, that I noticed it actually said something, whereas I thought my friend had actually put the small black squares. The black squares look a little something like this, except bigger and black: ▪▪
