HTC One M7 :: Wrong Pin Entered 50 Times - Forgot Pin Option Not Appearing
Jul 7, 2015I changed my pin to 9090 and powered off the phone immediately, now after 50 attempts nothing happens , forgot pin option has not yet appeared thus far, I have many important contacts and other many important stuff.

Have tried all the different location settings (high accuracy, power saving, and GPS only) but doesn't resolve the problem.
Since the widget won't appear on home screen, the settings can't be accessed to check if there's anything odd there.

Mar 13, 2015I no longer see a "card" for my text notifications on my lock screen after the lollipop upgrade on my Galaxy S5.
I get the status "notification bar" (see attached screenshot), but I want the "card" (like the "New voice mail" card in the screenshot) to appear on my lock screen - I don't want to have to tap the "notification bar" for the rest of my notifications. Hopefully I'm just missing a setting, and this is not the expected behavior....
Here's what I've tried (and what my settings are):
1) Lock Screen/Screen Lock is set to swipe.
2) Sounds and Notification/While Locked is set to "Show All Content".
3) Applications/Messages/Notifications/Preview Message is checked.
4) Applications/ApplicationManager/Messages -> Show notifications is checked.
5) I have cleared the cache for Messages Application.
6) I have done a cache partition wipe.

Sep 17, 2015I opened my gallery a few days ago to find that it was cluttered up with a lot of advertisements in the form of videos and pictures. There where about 10 - 20 of these and how they got there.
I don't download many apps at all, when I do I try be very careful to make sure they aren't harmful for my phone.
Before these ads had appeared though, I had installed two games. Knowing about how some apps will abuse permissions to do unwanted things and I assumed the culprit to be the most recent game I had downloaded, because I thought that I saw one of the same ads saved that had popped up in the game and the timing of this happening after a new app installed indicated it was this game.
I was annoyed that my phone had been exploited and deleted these pictures/videos, uninstalled the app and left a bad review explaining it saves ads on your phone.
Well I thought that was the end of it. Today I open my gallery and what do I see? Yep. More damn ads saved! Not so many this time though, there's about 4. So I realized that it wasn't the game at all, it is uninstalled and gone but the ads are still being saved. You could say I promptly made some "minor adjustments" to my review. :P
I decided to do a scan with AVG thinking that will find whats doing this but it didn't find any threats. So now I am seriously wondering how these ads are being downloaded onto my phone without my consent, using my data, storage space and cluttering my gallery up.

Keep getting a white screen when I leave the phone for a bit, to get rid of it i can hit the lock/unlock button, somedays that doesnt work i have to pop the battery out. It started off with this problem happening once a week, about ten times a day. I take really good care of my phone, always keep it in a case. No water damage or anything.

Galaxy S6 :: Sound Icon Randomly Appearing With Little Bleep
Jul 6, 2015So i bought the samsung s6 edge today, and i was very exciting unpacking and setting things up until i start to get these random sound message icon popping up allong with a little "bleep" sound. The phone does does about every 1 to 5 mins, both locked and unlocked. I cant seem to find where this is coming from, as i havent installed any apps yet (just synchronised my s6 with my old s3 via smart switch, where i synchronised my contacts, s planner and notes). I also saw a message pop up: "cannot download right now, try again later" (this is translated from dutch so i'm not sure if its the exact massage when given in english) (this pop up may be irrelevant but i'm trying to give as much info as i can )

Dec 14, 2013I woke up this morning to find the screen on my Z2 to be very off colour with hundreds of horizontal lines consistently moving down the screen. I haven't damaged my phone in any way recently, why this is occuring.
I would put it down to a hardware defect, however when my phone locks itself and I go the unlock it, or if I leave it for a few minutes, the screen will be fine for a few seconds or so, until it gradually fades to a white, then pinkish colour with vertical lines, and then blueish white horizontal lines will begin to move down the phone until it becomes quite impossible to actually use it. I've also just noticed that the lines get much worse when I'm actually using my phone rather than just staring at it idly, so it must be touch triggered or something?
I've had this phone since around December after it replaced a lost one, and haven't had any issues so far. I would take it to the phone shop to get it repaired, but I know that will leave me without a phone for 1 - 2 weeks, which just isn't an option. I'd just like to know what the exact issue is before forking out £50 for a new screen.

Jun 11, 2014Over the last couple of days I've noticed that most of my notifications are no longer appearing. I still get the from gmail and 1 game, but nothing from my other email accounts (I use Cloud Magic for my email, 5 accounts), Instagram, Twitter, Google Now, etc.
I've done some searching but haven't come up with a definitive answer anywhere, however I did see someone mention a problem with using notifications after having used ultra power save mode, and then turning it off. I used UPS mode for the first time on Sunday so it may well be the cause.
I've restarted the phone a couple of times, and checked the notifications settings in Cloud Magic and Instagram and they're as they should be.

The problem I have however is not with the game itself but with the images it has put on my phone to run itself, they seem to have 'inbedded'into the system on my phone so when for example I go into my camera I have a Haypi symbol on the bar at the top and then when I close it and its between closing an app and going to the main screen or vice versa the Haypi Kingdom shield and sword and severaL motifs appear briefly.I have tried removing the game to get rid of this but it still happens even when its not installed now, its like as if its installed a Haypi Kingdom theme to my phone! I like the game but not so much that I want to see it all over my phone!
