G4 stock email app is not removing emails that have been deleted from my email server. I'll check my email from my computer, read and delete them from the server. Then on my previous phone, an S4, when I updated the inbox or the next time it synced, those emails I deleted would automatically be removed from my phone. When I update my G4 inbox, those emails are still there. I have to manually delete them from my phone.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI wasn't getting any emails and all of a sudden all at once I got 58 of them. I guess they were saved up from all day and they came at once. Then, as of last night, I haven't been getting any emails to my phone. I tried taking out the battery and restarting it that way but that didn't help. I really want to be able to get my emails on my phone, because that's part of the reason I got a smartphone in the first place.

Now I'm getting notifications on my phone for messages that I either deleted or moved out of my inbox into a different folder.The messages that are being resent don't show up in the hotmail inbox as a new message.

I do receive them in my messages box, but when I click on the icon of my Gmail account it keeps saying 'no messages'. However, the red star signalling a new message does appear on the Gmail icon. I've gotten as far as to discover that if I select the folder for my inbox (under gmail icon), my emails do appear, but if I open the icon normally, it says 'all messages' as the folder, but doesn't display any emails. When I am sending an email through the browser, not the blackberry's integrated email function, after the message is sent, the recipient recieves 10-20 messages. I sent an email to my work boss and he recieved 110 copies of the exact same email. YES, I only hit send once. This occurs with outlook express online, using two different email accounts from two different websites.
I tested this out again just now, and sure enough, I got 12 copies of my test email to my personal account. My phone was telling me I have all 5 connectivity bars when I sent the message.If I were to guess, this would be a connectivity issue or maybe something involving my wireless carrier, but I figured here would be a good place to start
