Jun 23, 2010I sold my iPhone 3gs as "unlocked" on ebay since my iPhone 4 is coming tomorrow. Tonight I jailbroke it with spirit, then unlocked it with cydia/ultrasn0w. I was about to pack it up when I decided I should "Erase all content and settings" so that the buyer won't have any of my contact's info or anything.I put my phone in DFU mode and it won't restore. "This device isn't eligible for the requested build".I've tried everything. I went into Terminal and edited /etc/hosts to point to cydia instead of pointing to apple, but my gut tells me that its not working because the "Erase all content and settings" removed any traces of cydia.
I've never jailbroken anything before and have limited experience with this kind of stuff. I've downloaded all types of firmware versions (3.0, 3.01, 3.1.3) and nothing will take.The phone is just cycling over and over between the apple logo and a black screen. The phone needs an OS, apple knows I tried to jailbreak I guess and won't let me restore, and since I did an "erase all" I can't utilize any of the hacks to bypass apple's safeguard.I've run blackra1n to no avail as well. Nothing I do seems to reverse this awful mistake I've made.What do I do?

May 3, 2010I was doing a sync after the last BB OS update and when i was done - it had copied every contact twice so i had double the amount of contacts on my BB than on my computer, so i delete one of every pair and the next time i did a backup and a sync, it erased all my contacts on my computer.

May 8, 2015iv recently bought an lg g3 and once setup I found out that it included something called smart unlock which allows me to unlock the mobile with my face.Now I went into settings - general - security - trusted agents - and enabled smart lock ( google)then went into display - lock screen - smart lock - and turned on trusted face, did that setup and made sure I had my pattern setup

Dec 12, 2010I wasn't getting any emails and all of a sudden all at once I got 58 of them. I guess they were saved up from all day and they came at once. Then, as of last night, I haven't been getting any emails to my phone. I tried taking out the battery and restarting it that way but that didn't help. I really want to be able to get my emails on my phone, because that's part of the reason I got a smartphone in the first place.

Jan 15, 2016I have my smart settings set to have WIFI turned on in the house along with Blutooth and phone data. I also have synced the blutooth to my car so the phone can be connected automatically.
However, each time I get into my car the phone is not synced because the blutooth button on my phone is turned off. I have to manually turn the blutooth button on in my "settings" folder each time and then the car will sync up. I have the same problem with my wifi button on my phone. I want it set to on in the house but off whenever I leave the house. Instead, Wifi is still on when I leave the house but the blutooth is off.
The smart settings are turned on and my home location has been set, but they just aren't working.

When I am sending an email through the browser, not the blackberry's integrated email function, after the message is sent, the recipient recieves 10-20 messages. I sent an email to my work boss and he recieved 110 copies of the exact same email. YES, I only hit send once. This occurs with outlook express online, using two different email accounts from two different websites.
I tested this out again just now, and sure enough, I got 12 copies of my test email to my personal account. My phone was telling me I have all 5 connectivity bars when I sent the message.If I were to guess, this would be a connectivity issue or maybe something involving my wireless carrier, but I figured here would be a good place to start

Jan 25, 2010One step forward 2 steps back! I had a problem with my e-mails I stopped receiving messages on Friday and since talking to the service centre I now have 2 icons on my main screen. The new one has a globe at the bottom and my email address at the top when I scroll over it. All very nice but totally unnecessary.
Since this icon has appeared all my emails on my main computer are being marked as read. They were not before Friday Any ideas??

Jan 14, 2010I have lost all of my contacts.I was having problems with my iphone and did a restore, not from backup.Now the iphone is working properly but I lost my contacts in the process.I checked my itunes backups but it only says today's date.I did a time machine backup of my whole computer which included iTunes.I am thinking there should be a folder with my contacts in that but I am unable to locate it.All of my contacts where originally added to my iphone manually.Please help,I do not know where to find the contacts and I am very worried about being able to recover them.
