I must say I'm realy fed-up with with Sony Ericson for not providing 2.2. I've just bought the X10 thinking it was the best. can't wait for my present contact to finish, so I can chose a proper smart phone. Can anyone advise me on my next PROPER smart phone.

View 1 Replies View Relatediv recently bought an lg g3 and once setup I found out that it included something called smart unlock which allows me to unlock the mobile with my face.Now I went into settings - general - security - trusted agents - and enabled smart lock ( google)then went into display - lock screen - smart lock - and turned on trusted face, did that setup and made sure I had my pattern setup
then I turned the screen off and turned it back on but it doesn't show anything to say its looking for my face, it just shows the pattern thing...iv restarted the phone - still doesn't work..iv even factory reset the phone ( as asked by o2) - still doesn't work.
I have my smart settings set to have WIFI turned on in the house along with Blutooth and phone data. I also have synced the blutooth to my car so the phone can be connected automatically.
However, each time I get into my car the phone is not synced because the blutooth button on my phone is turned off. I have to manually turn the blutooth button on in my "settings" folder each time and then the car will sync up. I have the same problem with my wifi button on my phone. I want it set to on in the house but off whenever I leave the house. Instead, Wifi is still on when I leave the house but the blutooth is off.
The smart settings are turned on and my home location has been set, but they just aren't working.
go to the Technical Advisor whose technical steps solved my problem. I am happy to let him know that I can now receive and emails.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a problem with calls on my Z3 dual and the Answering Machine after the update to L.I don't have Smart Answer enabled -gesture to answer calls- but when I answer a call too close to the time set to the Answering Machine to kick in, when the call reaches this time (say 25 seconds) the call will be interrupted for about 2 to 5 seconds where I can't hear the other party and they can't hear me, and then the call will resume.If I disasble the answering machine, this bug is gone.I have cleared data of the phone app but still this issue persists.

I googled to make sure this model has smart lock on lollipop and it does. I went through the steps on my moto x to make sure I wasn't missing it on the turbo.

I test it's ear proximity and it doesn't have any problem. It works fast. But smart call handling doesn't work. Before I clear data it's data it answers the calls late and other motions didn't work at all. Now non of them works. I use lollipop.

I realise I can now change to full silent mode from the lock screen with the volume button, but i thought it would be an option to put into smart connect as a selection.

However, despite having "Enable smart keyboard" checked in Settings -> Sony Ericsson, this has never worked for me - either from the normal Sony Ericsson Home launcher or any other, either with stock firmware or with subsequent updates (currently on 4.0.2.A.0.58). Sliding out the hardware keyboard just unlocks the phone, that's it. Interestingly, this promised feature is also mentioned as not working in this review of the SK17i's big brother, the Xperia Pro.

I've seen recommendations for isync to work with itunes to create smart playlists, but I was wondering if there are any other music playing apps that support this feature. Right now it ends up copying files onto my phone that were already synced (files in synced a synced playlist are duplicated), so I'm looking to find a system that's more efficient with phone memory.
This seems like the kind of interactive and personalized interface that would thrive under android, so I'm surprised to find I need to interface through itunes to make it work.
i tried to search for the apk itself but no luck. I found the one in switch you have to place the folders in the systems part but I cant seems to get it to work.
