LG G3 :: Phone Won't Send MMS Messages To Email Addresses
Mar 10, 2015
whenever I try to send an MMS message to an email address, the email recipients never get it. This happens on BOTH phones. The phone says it sent just fine and everything is rosey but the email recipients never get it. Once in a great while one WILL go thru however. The rest are stuck in limbo somewhere. Is this a network problem or my phone settings? These are AT&T compatible phones running Android 5.0 on Straight Talk. I called Straight Talk and basically got no where. The tech said it's got to be the area I'm in. I recently went on a trip to San Diego which is 800 miles away and the phones did the same thing. Wouldn't sent MMS to email add's. I will add that phone to phone MMS works just fine. The trouble is sending MMS from phone to email address. It doesn't work. Attached is a screenshot of my APN settings per Straight Talk.
When I try to send an email via my yahoo account on my phone (which is my main default email account), the address won't come up. It started doing this a couple of weeks ago. It will display 2-3 addresses that I must have used a few weeks ago as "suggested addresses" but won't pull up any others.
I want to verify my email addresses in my phone through the setting icon and I can't sign in by using my username and passward which I'm using them to login at my account through the website though the computer .... it seems the phone doesn't recogize the details ...
I use my blackberry from south africa here in canada......everything was fine i used it with wi-fi...but yesterday i took out the simcard....for no reason....and now i cant send or receive emails...and cant bbm my chidren or receive....it keeps on sayin Blackberry ID service temporily unavalable...it is the only contact i have with them back home!!!
I was able to do it before but now when I try to check my email thru wifi a popup tells me to check my settings. I ca get online thru wifi but can't get passed that on my email. Anyone know how to? What am I doing wrong?
How do I establish two separate email folders for different email addresses, work and school for instance and have the replies from each folder come from that specific address?
My phone is trying to send an email that it can't send. The message is in the Outbox. I would like to delete the message but as long as the message is trying to send it, I am unable to. Is there any way to tell it to stop sending so that I can delete it?
I just got the phone, when i send a message, I send it to all messages I have in inbox. I mean I cant have like all messages separetly, they all go to 1 message like a chat and I cant answer to just 1 person. I saw some videos that send me to options, sms and email inbox, but I dont have that option. What can I do plz help me.
Rogers Blackberry technical support has tried everything and they are now telling me it's a hardware issue, and I need to pay full price for a new phone because my warranty has expired. I don't think it's a hardware issue. I will explain. A few days ago I installed Blackberry Desktop Manager 5.0.1 on my new computer. After connecting the Bold to my new computer, Blackberry Desktop Manager stated that a few of my applications are old and upgrades are recommended and therefore I upgraded. One of these upgrades included an upgrade to my operating system (to version 4.6.0.303).
After installing and re-booting, the smartphone did not work the same. I was able to use the phone, text message, and internet (rogers mall website directly and not search engine like before) but I could no longer set up e-mail, and PIN messages. I contacted Rogers Blackberry technical customer and we re-boot several times...did not work, then re-installed the operating system several times...did not work. I also checked Host Routing Table, and it was empty (as per technical support there should be a log of files). I tried to register and nothing changed. The only other change that I noticed is next to the 3G characters, there used to be a blackberry logo (4 dots), and now it's gone. I only see 3G.
I started a new job today. I added my work e-mail address to my Blackberry Tour; I can receive messages from my new e-mail addresses, but I cannot send a response back.
I upgraded to 6.0 Bundle 2342 May 12, 2011 and ever since then - all emails I send from my BB to AOL people are not being delivered to their AOL accounts. I can received AOL and other emails on my BB w/o any problem. When I send an email from the BB - it sends - yet it never reaches the recipients.
The loaded email software would not send messages so I went to the ATT store and the gal there downloaded Yahoo mail and it started working. Now I get emails to both programs and notifications also. It's a pain getting the additional email notifications and I cannot turn off or delete the orginal program. Any ideas how to correct this? Also, not using my lapdock like I thought --Spam/Solicitation removed--. Paypal only."""
I have run into a massive problem with my BB email.I can compose/send and receive email pushed to my phone but I cannot seem to REPLY to messages by hitting reply. Instead I receive an error saying that I can only compose a draft. Now this only happens when I am replying to an already pushed email. I have already tried resending service books and resending HRT.
In the last week, I began receiving text messages from my friends that are being sent from their "gmail" address. Therefore, it seems to replace the other contact that I had in the phone.
Can RIM add the capability for Messages to lookup addresses not only in my local Contacts but in my Corporate Exchange directory as well as my BlackBerry Tour 9630 currently does?
I'm extremely irritated at this point, because it's been one thing after the other with my phone. It has more problems than my BMW. The phone's gotten better, but this is still a problem.
I use Verizon Message+ for texting, and my phone says "failed" every time I try to send a picture message. It's really annoying, and from what I can tell, it's a fairly common problem with LG phones on Verizon.
I've tried resetting the app and changing settings, but nothing seems to work.
I resored a previously saved back up into my phone, now my email addresses will not work. even the link to setup the email address says no email addres available.
Had my BB for over 1.5 years and had the same emails the whole time. Today I stopped receiving emails and got a message from BB asking me to verify my addresses/PWs through the set up. Problem is each time I put in the details it says 'Username is invalid. A user name must be at least 4 characters.' it's a full email address so is more than 4 characters!
I have two email addresses on my blackberry; a gmail and my blackberry.net push email that's forwarded from my corporate mail server.Because my company email and calendars are not synced, I use gmail calendar sync to match all my calendars. Is there a way to automatically assign an appointment request on my blackberry.net account to my gmail? Or, can I turn off my blackberry.net associated calendar?
Earlier I synced Contacts, Keychain and Calender on my Mac, iPhone and MobileMe. I made sure that I selected the option to have the data on the Mac replaced. Calender and Keychain synced correctly, however, Contacts on MobileMe and iPhone were lost and replaced with the Contacts on my Mac - which were none. I have no idea why this happened and I have no back up because I to do an erase and install of Leopard today. It isn't such a disaster as I have most of the contacts saved in other ways. is there any way I can copy or transfer the email addresses in my Mail App to the Contacts App? It is easy to do on received emails, but I can't figure out how to get the 'saved' email address to come up with the option to Create A New or Add To An Existing Contact.
My BB torch was working just fine earlier but about an hour ago it just stopped. It has connections and bars, up in the little connections window. I've tried turning it on and off as well as taking the battery out after it's off to reset it. I've tried deleteing all my old conversations in the phone as well
I am on consumer cellular and I have set all my MMS settings as per the at&t recommendations. I get internet fine and regular text messages but no MMS. Consumer Cellular said sometimes the Windows phones just don't always work for MMS.
I have tried several things like touching the + sign in the lower left hand corner of the text message that I am sending. This sends me to other icons and from there I am lost. I know I am probably missing something very simple.
My wife is sitting next to me with an iPhone 6 and never has an issue sending sms from our house. I can get a message out 25% of the time with my Galaxy S5? My old S3 never had this issue. Does the antenna stink on my S5, or is there another issue?
