My LG G3 is unable to play any video file after upgrade to Android 5.0, both built in player and some 3rd party player like MX player. The video cannot be played and freeze on time zero. However, no problem with watching video on youtube, facebook, etc.

This happens on all quality settings and on both rear and front cameras. What's causing this. ES player can play recordings with no problems, but when launched from the gallery they don't work.

I put few video songs of WMV and MPG-4 format in my x2-01 which I bought couple of weeks back but its unable to play them. When I play WMV format only sound come and no video is shown and for MPG-4 it says that file not supported.
View 19 Replies View RelatedI have a new C2-01. I know it is relatively basic in function but am sure that videos that are downloaded and installed to the device ought to work. I have looked into it as much as I can and it appears the Mpeg-4 or mp4 certainly should play on the device. I have managed to install an mp4 video and only get the audio of the video but no picture. How to get everything working - either which types of video format I need to use or whether a video player needs to be installed. I wish to use it on a monitor rather than the small phone screen via the av connection lead that nokia uses on many of its phones.

Do you need to use the Internet to view a video you have recorded yourself if it is in 4K if so how come?
And why is it not using my Internet because I have unlimited data but I am downloading something at the moment does this prevent the video getting the URL if it needs it.

View 6 Replies View Relatedwhen i first got my blackberry curve 8330 october 2009, it played any video form Internet or anywhere really. it seems now that it has been updated with os 4.5.0.138, i cannot. it kind of aggrevates me. i should be able to play video like i used to be able too. my ohone also seems alot slower and i even keep it pretty cleaned up as far as deleting cookies and old texts and stuff. should i try to go back to an older version?

I play videos on my nokia e52, downloaded video podcasts, either as mp4 or wmv formats.
They play very well but there are no controls to skip along the video either forward or backwards. just a pause and stop.
What are the best properties for a video to be play on a nokia n81? What kind of programs can i use to convert my videos so i can watch them on my n81?

View 8 Replies View RelatedI bought an Atrix a few months ago and have had a few problems, but have had NO time to address it. So, I've just ignored it. The main problem is that I cannot play a video that has been sent to me via text. I am able to play videos that I record on the Atrix. I have even sent myself a video from my Atrix and it has played. I don't know why my phone is unable to play videos that have been texted to me.
Another problem is that my ringtone will not stay correct. Sometimes my ringtone will be what I have selected and other times it plays an old ringtone that I had set from my previous phone. I have checked the settings for my ringtone. I don't have any specialized ringtones for any specific people on my contacts list. So my ringtone can be one of 3 songs that are on my songs list. compared to the one listed above. I dont know how a phone this "smart" cannot play videos received.
Just curious, but have any of you run into this same problem or found a solution? I frequently have used (in the past) my iPhones to store videos or movies to take on the road with the family instead of bringing DVD's for the trip.  On every version of iPhone I have owned this was feasible. Not with the iPhone5 though. All i get is the audio now.
