I have an LG G3 currently running 5.0.1. A while ago, i locked some photos in my gallery, and when i try to unlock them now, it says "this file is locked by another google account and cannot be opened". Urgently trying to unlock these as they have sentimental value.

I tried upgrading the OS using Desktop Manager but it says I have the latest OS (4.6). I want the latest 5.0. Am using Vodafone AU and they have the latest one but I just can't seem to open the file!

I've sent several crash reports, no use. I've factory reset the phone, no use. Took it to Samsung service, no use.
They've reinstalled all Google apps, no use. The odd thing is, my S5 mini duos handles G+ Locations with no problem.
In April/May this year I inadvertently attempted to log on with the wrong password and was LOCKED out of my Account ID.I use Protect to back up wireless and since april I have been unable to do so because I keep getting a message saying I have made to many unsuccessful attempts to log in so wait 2 hours and retry.I have done this, changed passwords, reinstalled Protect but I AM STILL LOCKED OUT!

Pretty much I have not been able to update any apps, but that didn't bother me too much until i recently start to lose data connection and i need to perform battery pull to reconnect - and even then I lose the data connection soon after. At least three times now since installed Lollipop three or so weeks ago the app has logged me into my google account. I then have to go into the Settings area of the app and Sign Out.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a really weird problem that randomly started and just keeps getting weirder and more annoying. I was watching YouTube via the app on a very unreliable WiFi connection, and received a number of "playback error, tap to retry" messages (pretty normal on this particular network) so I didn't think much of it. When I got home, however, the messages and errors continued, so I cleared YouTube's cache, which did nothing. I then cleared data, it asked me to sign into Google again, and it did, but the errors continued. I then noticed in my notifications that I had some app updates available from the play store, and that's when the problem got stupid.
Play store hung on the spinny loading circle, so I cleared its cache and data and then it hung on the first update. Soooo, I cleared cache, then data, on Google play services. Now, not a single damn Google app does anything. Google play music shows my two google accounts to set up with, clicking either of them does nothing. YouTube plays videos linked from other apps, but can't search or browse, just has a the red nav bar and blank white space with the spinny. Play store doesn't work. Inbox doesn't refresh, you get the idea. And somehow, Facebook started not connecting at the same time as everything else. Not sure if its related or not, but it sure is frustrating. Chrome works fine. Other apps that connect to the internet work fine. Just google apps and Facebook.
Our email account was hijacked a week or so ago and a load of duff emails sent out. Eventually issue resolved with yahoo after multiple password changes. However, since then we have had problems with emails on iphone and ipad. Sending seems the most problematic. We are using the new passwords but keep receiving error message saying that the username and password are incorrect-they aren't. We can access yahoo via PC and the account is fine-sends and receives as normal. Just makes me realise how much I use the mobile devices?

In lollipop, I see the option for creating guest account. During phone is locked with pattern or pin, anybody can just pull down the notification bar and create a guest a account and access my all personal files with file manager with guest account. So I want to avoid this. How can do that nobody can create guest account while my phone is locked.

So i dropped my phone today, literally no exterior damage whatsoever, the software (from what i can tell) is fine as well. The problem is that everytime i turn on the screen and then unlock it the screen goes black and it's locked up again. I've tried reflashing the sofrware and wiping it clean, the problem persists.

I'm locked out of my phone. Whenever my phone restarts, it for some reason always changes the default input to Google Voice Input. I just recently changed my security from a Pattern to a Pin. The only problem is now I can't enter my unlock PIN with the google voice keyboard. I said the numbers followed by "enter" and "return" or the numbers by themselves but it didn't work.

If I try to dial out using my car's system, i.e either using numbers stored in car's speed dial or voice dialing feature. it simply doe not work. But when I look at the phone and unlock the screen, phone starts dialing out.
This totally defeats the purpose of hand free Bluetooth system, in the car. I never has this issue with any other phone, including Nexus 4, Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy S3 or various versions of iphone.
