I have changed ports on my pc and tried just about everything I know, but I cant get my LG Download pro to recognize my vx8550. All I'm trying to do is Flash it to V03. I have the FW and dll. I've looked all over net and cant find a solution.

When I got my 5800 I was incredibly unimpressed with pretty much every aspect of it. Utter rubbish.I went online and checked out Nokia's Ovi store and there were about 3 apps there, none of which any good.
Thought I'd use Ovi again today. I couldn't remember what password I used so I went through the password retrival service on my phone. To do this you need to type in some letters displayed onscreen. Only the image doesn't work. On Nokia's phone, running Nokia's app, Nokia's password retrieval is impossible. This typifies everything about Nokia - unwieldy and clunky solutions that fail at every step. Nothing is straightforward or simple to use.
Finally logged on (after going on my PC). Logged on via my phone, went to download an App and "Cannot download due to an error".
I am trying to download apps from the store and it wont let me download any app even free ones. It tells me to sign in and to check my billing information. I check it and my details are correct but it says there was a problem with the previous purchase. How do i sort this out?

OK in the past (as in last week) I have been able to connect my BB curve to both my laptop and my desktop without issue using the BB desktop manager, and happily synch diary and address books.
This week my husband has decided he wants to install and run microsofts active synch so he can update his old work phone with his photos and music. This was not a problem on our old PC (8 years old). However I have recently bought a P4 dell desktop, and active synch was not already loaded. I'd asked him to wait until I'd run ghost and got a back up of everything but he obviously could not wait.
Since uploading MS active synch my PC no longer manages to connect to the BB curve, so I can't do any synchronising, or updating of software through it. I can however connect and update via the laptop. The laptop does not have outlook, so it's not keeping my diary or address book up to date. Grrr.
When trying to download mp3 files, my Torch 9800 is not recognized by my PC. Instead the Torch goes into clock display mode as if trying to charge from the USB.
I may have disabled the option to select the kind of connection by checking "Don't Ask This Again". don't suggest that I go to "OPTIONS", then "MEDIA CARD". There is no such choice.
Just bought new blackberry after replacing the old one. It will not let me sign into my blackberry ID on the new phone.

I recently got a secondhand iPhone 3gs and I started it up and everything but the next time I connected it to my mac, it wouldn't acknowledge it at all. Neither would it charge. So I tried with my mum's PC and it was the same situation. My iPhone won't even charge with the wall charger unless I give it a hard reset each time. I tried recovery mode and even then iTunes wouldn' recognise it. The screen would just have the 'connect to iTunes' picture even though it was plugged in.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have an X6 and when I try to sync it with PC Suite and Ovi, they either do not recognise the device, or cannot detect that it is connected. I have reinstalled all the software from the Nokia site, reset the phone (soft and hard) and it still doesn't work. I have been reading a lot of comments and it seems that if you have this handset with O2, then neither of these applications will work. O2 say that the handset is fine and it is an issue with Nokia. Nokia have told me to do all the things as above. At a bit of a loss now! Have 3 days in which to reject phone.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI have recently installed ovi suite. My computer keeps asking me to install the driver for the "bluetooth peripheral" device (and it can't find the program to install). But that is not the real problem. problem is when i connect my phone to the pc it doesn't recognize it, i've gone through all the help files and done everything, checked the connection was right, disconnected, rebooted both devices and reconnected, and made sure it was on use as Ovi Suite when the option comes in the beginning.Furthermore, although my computer sees the phone as a Bluetooth device and i can browse and copy files to and fro the phone, the pc suite doesn't recognize the phone via the bluetooth route either.again, i've gone through all the help suggestions.

Now when I connect it to my computer it will charge, but it won't sync and it doesn't show up in device manager. I connected it to another computer and everything worked fine, it started to install the drivers etc... but I need to get it working on this computer. I've restarted the computer and the phone, uninstalled and reinstalled zune, ran various windows fix it things, installed updates for the computer... nothing!

It just says "please wait" and then does nothing for literally hours. I can log in to the BlackBerry website fine so I know my login and password are correct. My cell phone provider says it is a BlackBerry issue. The log in screen gives you 10 tries to log in before it wipes your phone and I'm on try #8.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have the HTC one m8 with T-Mobile, have had it for about six months now. Pretty eh phone over all, crappy camera, crappy battery, nothing particularly awful, just irritating. and its never recognized my sd card. But It wasn't ever a problem, I still could save things and download stuff, whatever. But now I can't access any of my saved things like game progress. Some games I can, others only work when I'm not at home, like at school.
I don't do anything weird with my phone, or try to upgrade it myself. I take it out of the box and go.
I've tried everything that doesn't involve erasing all of my crap. I've removed it, restarted, the tape thing, I tried al. These things at school too and nothing.
It worked fine less then a week ago, I updated it, and now Its basically useless for anything besides phone calls and the internet.

yes i can charge it, but i need to power off it and then plug charger and after that it will charge
