Nokia :: How To View Phone Book Backup When Phone Is Not Available
Aug 9, 2010My Nokia phone died. I have a backup stored in Nokia PC Suite, but i can't view it - when i try to open it, the application says that no phone is connected and doesn't display the contents of the backup.
How do i view my backup (in particular the phonebook) without connecting to the phone?
Galaxy S5 :: Fullscreen Pop Up Ads When Closing Hangouts
May 28, 2014So i have been using a Galaxy S5 for about a month now... I noticed i was getting fullscreen pop ups and i though it was some downloaded apps and i removed them. But I am still getting them and i noticed it was only when I backout completely out of hangouts messaging app. If i press home or switch to another app I dont see the add. It has a grey background and the letter "i" on bottom left corner where i can press and it displays "ads by google".
I have scanned with Lookout, App brain and some other popular ad detector tools and nothing pops up so my guess is some setting on the phone that i might be opting out of something. Or maybe i turned off bloatware that is causing me this. My wife has the same phone and uses hangouts and its not getting the pop ups.
Nokia :: 2720 - Fold Fullscreen Wallpaper
Jun 22, 2010i just bought a nokia 2720 fold. I have been downloading a few themes off the internet but everytime i apply them they don't seem to cover the full screen. By that i mean there is still a white band where the battery icon is. Even hen I set a wallpaper the white band is still there.
But when i use a profile that already exists in the phone it comes out in full screen and so does the wallpaper.

Aug 11, 2011Whenever I play a flash video and make it fullscreen it stutters. It's fine if I zoom the browser so that the video covers the entire screen.I tried both Dolphin HD 6.1.0 and the stock browser using flashplayer 10.3.186.3. And I'm on Gingerbread 2.3.4

Jun 7, 2010I bought an X6 during mid May, fully expecting to be able to use the "fullscreen handwriting for Chinese" function to write chinese. However, after weeks of researching, there seems to be no such function! What's even worst, Nokia (AU) totally removed this description from their X6 specifications 2 week after I bought this phone! I did, however, save a bookmark of the older specs just to serve as evidence that they did mention the X6 had chinese input capabilities. Help! is there anyway that I can get around this and allow my phone to type chinese??? Did nokia make a big mistake and try to cover this up by deleting the specs on their website? I've emailed them but they have yet to reply. I feel ripped off and that my phone did not serve its intended product purpose.

Jul 1, 2012since ics i can no longer control flash video on the web (sites like blip.tv). the video plays fine but i can't full screen it nor can i access the video controls (pause, stop, position)on the web, when you go to you tube, the video has controls at the bottom (play/pause, volume, and the status bar showing where you are in the clip) and when you full screen it, they're still there. on gb when you went to a flash video and hit play, the video would automatically full screen with the status bar on the bottom (status bar being the time counter showing how much you've played, what is left and your position.) on ics now when you play a video it simply plays on the page with no access to the controls or the ability to full screen the clip.
with Internet i obviously have an app but with web content (news, and blip.tv) it not possible as far as i can tell. sometimes i wanna pause and fast forward or rewind and that ability is now gone.lip.tv is the big one for me, i watch a lot on there. but when i go there now on my phone, chrome won't play at all and the stock brower shows the little cinema logo. when i click the logo, the video plays fine but small and still embedded in the web page. i can't pause or stop without leaving the page, i can't fast forward or rewind and i have have no time counter to know my video position. it's extremely frustrating. and double-tapping does nothing. on gingerbread this was simply automatic. you hit play and it goes fullscreen, you have the video position bar at the bottom (slider that let's you ff or rewind) and a ply/pause button. they would disappear after while and come back with a tap

Jun 14, 2010I've had my N97 Mini for a while now. Its pretty good overall but I've encountered one constant problem that keeps occurring when I enter a full screen game. I've recently installed Real Football Manager 2010 by Gameloft, the game is made for n97i and is suppose to be played full screen. When ever I start the game, a annoying touchpad pops up and blocks half the screen. How do you turn this off? Is there another way to solve this problem?

Jan 20, 2012I was trying to create a sub folder in my address book & now I can't find my original add book. The add book icon is still there, but there are no contacts in it. The best i remember i hit filter and chose business & typed in a name for what i thought would be a new folder or group. i'm not sure what happened, but I can't see any of my contacts. I have switched from personl to business & back again & it says "no contacts" on both. But if I go to email & put in a letter all of my old contacts that begin with that letter show up. & my speed dials still work. But if i go to sms/mms & do compose sms it shows "No Addresses"....well I spoke too soon...now if i go to email & type in a letter it don't show a list of ppl that begin with that letter.... I have tried taking the battery out with the phone off & on & it's still the same....

Mar 3, 2010I see that there is a Kindle app for the Iphone. Being a book worm I first was jumping for joy. I thought that books were going to be really cheap since they don't have to print anything. I was thinking new releases maybe $2.99 and old books $1. Boy was I wrong.
So am I looking at the Kindle books correctly as far as price? They seem just a little cheaper but not that much cheaper than real books.

I have a Macbook Pro running Mac OS X version 10.6.8.When I connect my phone to the computer w the USB cable, nothing happens. iTunes does not "see" the phone.I also have wifi and when I try to sync using this, I get a message on the phone "Sync will resume when"Macintosh.local" is available."
I have done a sync before with no problem using the cable. I have restarted both the phone and the computer.
