I bought myself an iPhone 3Gs for Chanuka and I was a very happy person. Well, I got home and tried to charge it and, oh my, it wouldn't charge. I rushed about my house like a crazy person jabbing my charger at outlets. About 1/8th of the time it would charge. I then plugged it into my Mac and, oh my, nothing happened. I had an iPod charger, so I tried it with my iPhone and it didn't help. So, I went to the Apple store. The Apple store gave me a new iPhone and I went home a happy person. Well, I got home and I tried to charge it and, oh my, I seem to be repeating myself, anyways, same thing happened. I bought a new charger (so now I have 2 iPhone chargers and one iPod charger which I thought were exactly the same, though some say otherwise)
My iPhone is up to date and brand new, I have an iMac with Mac OSX 4.11, I have iTunes 9.0.2, and I have a house with, um, outlets.Anyway, accept my quest, brave knight, and you will be rewarded with 3 gold coins and my eternal gratitude.Of course, the gold coins are imaginary and I'm a 17 year old boy. But, hey, if my girlfriend doesn't object, I'd be happy to wear a dress for you.
Recently I upgraded my I phone to 2.0 and Jailbroke it, and it worked fine for a week or so and out of no where it seems my phone is now not recognized by my computer at all. Itunes does not recognize it, I even tried to see if Ziphone, the old method I used for jailbreak, and that doesnt recognize it either. Futher more I also noticed the regular I phone charger does not, work I tried to different chargers. The only thing that does seem to recognize my phone is, this Ihome unit I have. I cant find the link that gave me the steps as to which method I used for Jailbreak anymore on this website. But it was a link to another website which gave me steps to use it winpwn for 2.0, when it was only released for mac at the time. Also Im current using itunes 7.7, but another computer I had has itunes 7.5 and both did not recognize the phone. Please help with what I should do, if I need to bring the phone to apple, I will but I dont want to with out doing a restore so they cant see cydia.View 8 Replies View Related

I just picked up the iPhone 3gs on Monday and have two questions that. Forgot to find out before I got the phone. I bought a white iPhone 3gs and wanted to know is the phone still plagued with overheating and discoloration problems? Second question I am wondering if I buy a mophie juice pack air a coupple of months would that negatively affect my battery on the iPhone. What I mean by this is I heard that aged four hundred complete charges and draining of the iPhone battery the phones battery only holds 80% of the charge it use to. My question is does using a charger help increase time it takes the iphont to reach 400 chargeres quicker than it would if I did not use the charger?View 5 Replies View Related
I bought this phone 5 months back. I had detected the problems it was giving me, from the start itself. It had a problem with the display. It used to go blink away, all by its own or even restart. Recently, the problem had aggravated and there was some other proble. This used to happen whenever I connected my uSB device to my cell and m pc. My wouldn't detect it and the msg would appear on the cell's screen reading, "Unsupported USB device..I went to Nokia Care. After 8 days of service I got my cell back with software upgraded and the problems taken car of. After almost less than a week the message of 'UNSUPPORTED DEVICE' has started to appear on the screen, which means there's certainly a problem with the device itself.View 2 Replies View Related

I have a nokia E7, which for the most part have been good. Most of the issues i have had with it have been PICNIP's, but now, it's starting to bug me. Some time ago, when the phone was about 6 weeks old, it developed what i assumed to be a hardware bug. No matter what i plugged into the USB port, it told me "USB-device not supported. Remove the unit" and if I press ok it says "error in the USB connection, remove the cable" (I'm translating this from Danish, so this might not be the exact English error code). As the error persisted through a hard reset, i shipped the phone to repairs, where they changed the radio module, where the USB port is soldered to. Now, about a month after i got the phone back, the error has returned. As i doubt i have hit the statistical "faulty unit" lottery twice, i'm starting to wonder if this error is also a "problem in chair, not in phone", so have anyone encountered the same problem? And any ideas how to resolve it?

I just replaced my **bleep** 5800XM with a N900 (I really love it).Now I wanted to download the "Ovi Map Loader", but the N900 does not show up as a supported device. I bought this device right after Nokia announced that free offline navigation would be available for all current N-series handsets. How come that Ovi Maps is not available for the current N-series flagship? It should not be too hard to port the actual application to Maemo (the current navigation is not that bad - it just needs offline maps).Where can I find the release schedule for Ovi Maps for Maemo?View 7 Replies View Related

I'm having a really hard time charging my phone. As of this morning, I have to hold the charger plug in and pull it in a downward direction in order for it to charge. Obviously this is less than ideal -- Has anyone had this problem, is it the phone vs. the charger? I'm luckily due for an upgrade soon, but I was hoping to hold out until Verizon got the new Curve and/or a better model.View 14 Replies View Related
So I bought a barely used LG Voyager off of Craigslist not even 2 weeks ago. It is in almost perfect condition. I didn't charge my phone all this weekend but when I got home and charged it the charger was making a funny noise so I tried the other charger and same thing.. So I have to bend the cord a certain way for it to charge.. it sucks! If I keep doing it like that eventually the port will break more or the charger will snap.. Anyway, the easiest solution to my problem is to buy a standalone battery charger.. I looked on eBay and stuff but I can't seem to find one for the LG Voyager.View 4 Replies View Related
