I have iPhone 4 which was locked by the AT&T. But I am not a resident of the US, therefore I do not have a AT&T account or a wireless number. I have sent 4 emails to ask the AT&T to accept my request of unlocking my iPhone 4, but all of them are asking me to log in the AT&T account which I don't have. My iPhone is accidentally updated to the newest version and now I could not unlock it to use . I don't have a phone to use

Ok just received a brand new iPhone 4 from fedex opened it synced it and tried to add an image for background and Lock screen. Lock screen WILL not change from the black background with the green battery to ANY image.Has anyone else had this problem? Looks like iOS4 ships with bugs included for free.

I have intermittent sound problems with with iPhone 4 S. When I am receiving a call I hear no ringtone. I also hear no sounds when I am using apps. I do however have sound when I am playing music or using Siri. I haven't had problems with hearing calls or people hearing me during the call duration.
Any suggestions??

I had zero issues and it all went through in 1 attempt.It also states on the confirmation that it should arrive around June 24.Now I have decided I no longer want the iPhone4 and will be picking up an EVO tomorrow. I called ATT to cancel the iPhone order and she said it is already processed and possibly en route so she could not cancel it, but that I would just need to refuse shipment or if I receive it, simply ship it back for a full refund.
Do I refuse shipment? Or do I list this mfer on ebay for a premium (800-1000) and when I get the phone just tell ATT to shove it and charge me the $325 cancellation fee? Can I do this? Is there any other penalty in doing this? Like will it affect my credit or anything like that?

It won't sync the contacts and emails. So I can back up the curve contact list to the apple address book, export it and then import into the iphone.But it doesnt touch the contacts in Entourage. So my contacts are not accurate I use this for work and have hundreds of contacts, thousands of emails.

When ever I try to unlock (dragging lock button from left to right) , I am unable to unlock in one go. It is taking multiple attemts to unlock my phone.I also observed that when I get to call, to cancel dragging the icon from right to left this is required multiple attempts.i.e many time dragging icon from right to left.
I don't know whether it is software problem or hardware. I have tried the repair operation also. my xperia neo is uptodate and running 2.3.4 os.I also tried to un install apps but I couldn't find any difference.Also once I unlock, those 5 screens, I can scroll inbetween and can touch home button. But when I long press on the screen to add widget/folder I am unable to do it as soon as I unlock phone. It is taking some time to respond.
As I purchased this phone in UK and using it in India, I am not sure how much service I can get in india from SE.I have bill for the mobile too.in other posts somebody told me to remove yahoo and i did the same but didn't find any difference.in short the touch scence is not responsive during unlock and for a while once get the home screen. I also installed andvance task killer app and killing apps frequently that also not making any help.

3)do NOT restore any personal info
4)take out SIM card and sell?

i've read that 3.1.2 on an iphone 3gs can be unlocked using blacksnow with the updated baseband 5.11.07.this Internet video shows it being done: if this is true, the 3.2.1 is unlock-able and usable for t-mobile.
