i turned my iphone off during a software update and now whenever i try to turn it on, it goes to the black screen with the apple symbol on it as if its going to turn on but it never turns on...it just stays at that screen. what can i do to turn it on?

I just got my Lumina phone 4 days ago and the screen suddenly turned black tonight. I cannot get anything to appear on the screen except the numbers 10.12 are lit in the right corner of the screen. The Motorola logo and the droid eye don't appear while its powering on either. Now I can raise the volume, receive messages and phone calls, I just can't see the images at all; its all black. The back, home, menu, and search buttons at the bottom of the screen still light up white and work as well as the keypad. I turned it off and on and took out the battery about 8 times. I never dropped it or got it wet. I've had it for two years already so I guess the warranty is up. It just randomly froze and went black while i was texting my friend.

I just bought an 02 mini x10. It's new and came into a sealed box. But first time I switched it on nothing appears on screen. Left it to charge for a whole day (charging indicator lits up) but still nothing. But when I turn it on, the boot music/sound comes in and also I can only see the screen when under sunlight. I can see 'Silent mode " and "settings" on the screen. But the phone switches down when I press on either.

I'm having issues with my iPhone 4s.Â
I work in retail and this morning I knocked my phone over a security tag remover (takes off security tags on clothing) and my phone turned off, it since hasn't turned back on. It got very hot after this incident. So I removed it from the case and it cooled down it still wouldn't turn on.Â
I have since googled what to do as the screen is completely black after being advised to charge my phone from not a computer but a wall, for 15mins -1hr (did 1hr) I tried to turn phone on -- nothing.Â
Next I was advised to try the reset buttons - nothing....

I have updated my iPhone 4 from iOS 5.0.1 to 5.1. The screen went black and start vibrating, I couldn't restore or have it hard reset. I let it vibrating for 4 hours until the battery went off. Then I used the restore through iTunes (lock+home keys for 10 sec then only home key) and manage to restore the phone with iOS 5.1 (not 5.0.1 that was the initial iOS - I don't know how it did that since i factory reset it. The problem now is that I got a big rectangle (75% of the screen) in the middle of the screen that flicks all the time (when the screen is black you can see the rectangle in the middle of the screen as grey). The phone is brand new, I just activated it today.
