Nov 16, 2010Love my fone so far, but had not too much time playing with it so far, but one thing that bugs me is that my screen autolock straight after a call even if I am not back to my home screen, how can I stop it to do this.
Reason is that when I unlock it again, I am at the previous screen, I have then to cancel screens to go back to my home page to start again, this is a pain.

May 13, 2015I have a Samsung S6 Edge. Every time I turn on GPS, either High Accuracy or Battery Saver.. whenever I lock my phone... i lose that GPS signal. Everytime time I wake it back up or unlock it..i will see a "searching for location", then a "location found". This happens for ALL application, Google Maps, Verizon Navigotor, MapMyRun, etc. This is very frustrating as I use these apps all the time and I cant keep my phone 'unlocked' as then the screen is active and I would accidently click things.
ADDITIONALLY, after using the GPS, I will then shut off the location feature and then my phone will continually say "searching for location", even with location off. I close all my current applications etc.. and it still says searching. This message does not go away until i turn back on location or restart my phone.
When I go to location settings, i see "recent location requests" of "Google Play services" and Location Services of "Google Location History".. that is it!
I am about to the point of wiping out my phone and starting over. (which i dont want to do). I have not battery saver or app killers downloaded on my phone so that cant be it.

Mar 13, 2012I don't like this feature to be unlocked, that is why I have a passcode on my iPhone. Now, whenever my you daughter is able to get her hands on it, she fills up the memory space with random pictures. This feature would not be bad if it had the option to disable.

Sidenote: What was Apple thinking with this feature? avoid a couple of taps before being able to access the camera. Having it available on the lock screen defeats security. I prefer security.

When double quick on the home button, I have the symbol for the camera but it does not respond when tapping on it. Mar 15, 2012With the new update, the new slide-camera-button-to-activate-camera feature has a major downfall... you are able to completely bypass entering you password and access all the phone information! After sliding the camera button and getting into the camera, simply pressing the button takes you right into the phone without ever having to enter your password. This is a major problem! Anyone know how to deactivate that camera feature or simply a way to prevent access to my phone?
