IPhone :: After Updating To IOS 5.1 Camera From Lock Screen Not Accessible?
Mar 14, 2012
with this after updating to IOS 5.1 my camera from lock screen not accessible which was happeing easily earlier although its avilable there side to unlock screen as a new feature.
Ever since I updated to IOS 5.1 when I select camera from locked screen it lifts the screen a little but doesn't go to camera, I even tried double clicking home screen and it does the same.
Recently the pictures taken using the iPhone's camera are not showing up on the camera roll. The iPhone 4 still has memory available, so I do not believe the issue to be related to too many pictures.
I'm completely new to android devices. On my wife's Samsung Galaxy S5, it seems like the weather degrees on the lock screen does not update. Is there something possibly not turned on in the settings of this phone?
I don't like this feature to be unlocked, that is why I have a passcode on my iPhone. Now, whenever my you daughter is able to get her hands on it, she fills up the memory space with random pictures. This feature would not be bad if it had the option to disable.
I did look through quite a few threads and wasn't able to spot this subject. how to disable this feature?
Sidenote: What was Apple thinking with this feature? avoid a couple of taps before being able to access the camera. Having it available on the lock screen defeats security. I prefer security.
I would like to remove my camera from the lock screen. I went to settings and I don't see an option to turn this off. Does anyone know how to do this? I have already updated to the new ios5.1 software
I have a 9650 issued by my job and have a password that is forced by my IT group. When the phone is locked (not just the keyboard but password enabled) there are times that the time is not updating unless I unlock the phone. My old Curve never did this, it showed the current time regardless of the password. Is there a fix for this? I saw a thread in the 9700 forum that this was an issue back in April, guess it still is? Any suggestions would be great, since I don't wear a watch anymore. My blackberry is the only way I am ever on time anymore.
I'm running the latest Dev preview so I have Cyan. I had an event on my calendar for last night. It starting showing the day before, awesome, but today it won't go away. I even restarted the phone, no dice. Deleted yesterdays event from my calendar, still there.
Having issues with the lock screen and calendar events with Cyan? I did a hard reset after doing the Cyan update and I did not restore from a backup. Also my calendar item in question was one I put into my phones calendar and does not come from my sync'd email account calendar or anything.
I did the ios5 software update and I have the camera icon in the home screen lock mode, but if you go into the camera from your lock screen and then press the home button, it takes you to your unlocked home screen without asking for the password. How do I change it so that it is always password protected?
With the new update, the new slide-camera-button-to-activate-camera feature has a major downfall... you are able to completely bypass entering you password and access all the phone information! After sliding the camera button and getting into the camera, simply pressing the button takes you right into the phone without ever having to enter your password. This is a major problem! Anyone know how to deactivate that camera feature or simply a way to prevent access to my phone?
When I double click the home button the camera button appears. When I push the button the home screen bounces twice but the camera doesn't open. I'm working on an iPhone 4s with updated iOS.
I have had my iPhone 4s since the start back in October 2011 and love it. I recently updated my phone to 5.1 and now the lock screen displays the camera permanently but doesn't work? Has anyone else experienced this? More importantly is there a way of rectifying it? I have tried re-booting the phone to no avail.
Shortly after I upgraded my iPhone 4 to iOS 5.1, the camera shortcut on my home screen stopped working. The camera icon appears even if I single click the home button, but whether I single click or double click the home button, touching the camera icon simply makes the screen bounce in rejection.
I have removed the passcode on my phone only to get the same effect.
I have a new 9650 running on Verizon, OS 5.0.0.732. Lately there has been an issue with the lock screen not updating the time and some of the message alerts don't appear, until I unlock the phone. This is not the keyboard lock, but the lock that requires a password (corporate IT policy). Is there a way to fix this? The time is set to auto-update from the network. This started a few weeks ago and is very annoying. Sometimes it will update while locked if I activate the screen and let it sit for a minute but other times it won't at all while locked.Anyone else having this issue?
The lock screen camera button doesn't work! The camera button appers but it doesnt work!, Also the proximity sensor its not working well (the screem doesnt get black on calls and I accidently mute the call or put it on speaker)
I did a yesterday a factory reset on my LG g3 because I had some problems with it. And today when I wanted to take a quick picture I couldn't find the Camera shortcut which was usually in the right low corner... I looked thru the setting but I couldn't find anything. (My phone is running the 5.0 lollipop because for the T-Mobiles phones the 5.1 update is not out yet). how I can get that shortcut back?
I am unable to get the camera to work from the lock screen. I have the icon in the lower right side and it makes those rings like it is activating but it does nothing. Also have the phone icon also and the same thing happens there too.
Are there no camera controls on the Mini Pro lock screen in 4.0.4? I can't find it and don't see any options for it. Other Xperias in the first batch of updates got it....
Is there any way to turn off the shortcuts for the camera and the phone because that is an easy way to gain access to the phone and bypass the fingerprint unlock feature!
